~Recap~
Blood rose from your throat and splattered from your mouth, falling to the ground. Your hands covered your mouth, and you felt pain travel throughout your body. *kuso, why am i always so damn weak* You looked up at the sky, ignoring the rukus around you as everyone came toward you, Uchiha as well. *if it were not for this demon inside me, i would be long dead*
~Story Start~
Your eyelids started to feel heavy, and you were too tired to resist being swept away in to the world of unconsciousness. Everything around you was dark. You couldnt see a anything but black, except if black was a thing, then yes. Note the sarcasm. Actually black is a color but- well- yeah. You looked around you. Everything was black. Wait I already said that didnt I? Well you get the point. *where am i* You looked down at yourself, nothing there too, just black. Panicking for a moment, you touched your stomach, your shoulders, then sighed. I know it sounds ridiculous, but you felt the need to check you were still there. Not just a floating head or something. Your eyes widened at the thought, and you touched the area where your neck was, then sighed. *ok, so im not a floating head, my body is fully attatched, * Your ears perked up as you heard the sound of water. *water* You looked back down, and noticed a pool of water at your feet, but it didnt feel wet. Like you were in an illusion. *genjutsu* You made a handsign, and mumbled "kai." Nothing. Slowly, you lowered your hands, thats when a voice reached you.
???: Yura.
You: Yeah?
You answered absent mindedly to your name. For some reason the voice sounded familiar to you, but you couldnt place a finger on who it belonged to. It was a mix of a beautiful, chiming voice, with an eerie sound to it. It was hard to explain. Who did this voice belong to? A light, dark, laughter filled the entire area.
???: You havent visited me in a while. Please, come here.
You looked around you, the place was so dark. You couldnt even tell where the voice came from. It seemed to come from every direction.
You: I cant see. Its too dark. Where are you?
The light, dark, laughter returned, and filled the entire space although that space seemed to go on forever.
???: You sound confused darling. Follow your insticts. *my instincts* Yes your instincts. Close your eyes, and follow them.
You dismissed the answer to your thoughts, and closed your eyes as told.
???: Good girl. Now, where am I?
Your closed eyes started to twitch after a few seconds. *i dont know* The wierd mix of laughter filled the area again.
???: Of course you do my dear.
After a few moments, you felt a spark come from your heart. It was warm, such a nice feeling. The warmth disappeared, and you tensed. *wait come back* The warmth suddenly returned and intensified. It hurt. It felt like you were burning. Your hands flew to your heart, and you clutched onto it. The fire was within your chest, you couldnt feel it with your hands.
???: Come on Yura. What are you instincts telling you to do. Hurry with your descision.
*get the fire out* Abruptly, the burning disappeared.
???: Congratulations. *for what* Open your eyes now.
Your eyes shot open, and you looked down at yourself. You still couldnt see. *my instincts huh, did they decide to burn me*
???: Of course not.
Your eyes narrowed, and you smirked to yourself as an idea came to mind. *instincts right* You lifted your hands, palms facing up, fingers curved around an invisible ball. *instincts* Your fingers twitched as you closed your eyes. *i want to see* Your eyes shot open with the thought, and the next thing you knew, there was light. Fire appeared in either hand, small flickers. It still wasnt enough to see the whole area, you could at least see your body. *more* The flames shot up really high, around six feet above your hands, then lowered to a reasonable size, one foot.
???: Good job. Now, find me Yura.
You smirked to yourself. It would be easy to find the voice now. *i wish i knew before that i could use my bloodline*
???: That will always be with you. *you can hear my thoughts*
The laughter filled the area again.
???: You really dont know who I am do you? *should i* Remember, we are connected.
You shook your head, then looked around. The area was only slightly visible due to the fire in your hands. You were in a big room. You could see a wall in front of you. A hall was attatched to it. It should lead somewhere. Your hands closed around the fire, smothering it. This time it didnt burn. You were in control now. The light disappeared, and you crossed your arms around your chest, closing your eyes. Willing for the entire room to light up. Your eyes slowly opened. Only a few flames flickered by the walls. *concetrate yura* You slammed your palms against each other, and shut your eyes.
You: Flames, light up the entire area.
You: Show me to the voice.
Laughter filled the room again, and you ignored it. Your eyes shot open, as you pulled your hands away. The fire lit up everywhere, not touching the walls, but floating beside them. Moderate sided flames, not too large, not small either. It was then you noticed there were multiple passageways coming from the walls. You were in a large, circular room, with around ten other halls leading from it. *which one* You intertwined your fingers together, and widened your eyes.
You: Water, lead me toward the voice.
The water by your ankles trembled. You looked down, ripples formed around your ankles. Water splashed against the walls of the hall, and throught the passegeways.
You: Onegai.
The trembling stopped, and everything was silent for a moment. Suddenly, the water below your feet elevated, carrying you above it. Like an elevator. Like a geyser. {wouldnt it be cool to ride one of those! although youd probably get hurt from it... burn to death... or am i thinking of something else... back to the story!} It raised you a few inches, before it darted upwards, bringing you up. You were a little startled by this then calmed down as the water carried you a few stories high. Fire lit up as you elevated. It seemed that there were many levels of this large, circular shaped room. More halls were attatched to the walls, although there was no ground connecting them together. The halls had their own ground, with a little platform area leading to it, outside the passage, indicating that the ground used to connect together. {i know, i know i keep interrupting, sorry. im bad at descriptions, so if any of you have played fullmetal alchemist and the broken angel, the part of the tower before you fight the three chimera bosses and that woman- forgot her name with that giant chimera to save... that girl- i forgot her too name ok, yeah that place /sweatdrop/ back to the story! sorry for interrupting again, gomen nasai} You looked below you, and immediately, your legs started to tremble. Heights frightened the poo out of you, only really really high heights, around 50 stories. And by your judgement, it looked like you were up, youre not sure 72 stories and counting. You werent sure, it was a rough estimate. Note the saracasm, but the height was around there. Abruptly, the water-elevator-geyser stopped, and you looked up. There was a giant cage above you, and in front of it was a platform.
???: Over here Yura.
The voice was louder now, and you had a faint guess on who it belonged to. The platform was a few yards away, and around 5 yards higher than the water carrying you. You leaned forward in a half crouch position, and pushed up on your feet, flying into the air. The fire had appeared around the large room, lighting the entire area so you could see perfectly fine. You landed easily on your feet, your back toward the cage.
???: So you finally made it.
You turned around to face the cage. There she was. The ten tailed "crow" sealed within your body. The former, legendary phoenix, now reduced to the form of a crow, a gravekeeper. The phoenix. The one who used to burn with fire so intense that the sight would destroy your eyes. The one who would follow death and be reborn within her own ashes. Now the watcher of deaths. The protector of the dead. A crow. Fenikkusu.
WillYura ever get out from this world?
