Hi. I am Ariela. I am 13 years old and love to create stories. My mother tells me I am foolish, and that it is a waste of time, while I could be studying. She says a princess should be practicing being proper and fancy, but I'd rather not sit in a fluffy pink ball gown with heels and walk with books on my head. I have beautiful curls of chocolate brown hair that flows to my ribs. My mom, excuse me, mother, cut my sidebangs to be regular bangs, but I sweep them to the side. My eyes glow bright green and smile is like I see rainbows surrounding the universe. My signature outfit includes skinny jeans or a skirt with knee socks, converse and a vneck or graphic tshirt-but only when my mother is out of town or in the other castle. I live in a land called Kanowea, and I am Hawaiian, American and Italian. I am a soon to be Queen, just a few more years. But even then, my mother and father insist on me marrying the current Prince, soon to be King, of Kanowea. His name is Nicholas. He has curly brown hair, too, and big brown eyes. He looks amazing, but I just do not think I am ready to be the ruler of a whole country at age 15, not including getting married! Here is my story, that a regular person would not believe, but here I am telling you and you must re-wire your brain to not believe such lies and start listening, because this is a story you do not want to miss.
It all started on a breezy afternoon in the forest of Kanowea. My mother had me go pick flowers for the dinner table, because tonight, we would be eating with the family of Nicholas Jonas. I was skipping along mindlessly, just thinking about one of my stories. I came along a beautiful slate blue and sliver colored flower. It sparkled and almost mezmorized me. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I tried ripping it and picking it all I could, but it would not come out. I closed my eyes and made a wish on the flower. When I opened my eyes, I smiled and then just saw that flower sitting there. I shook my head with doubt and walked on. I took a break and sat down on a bench as I dreamed up a story of a beautiful and bubbly girl named Kayenne. She had long blonde flowing hair, a mega-watt smile, turquoise eyes and a care-free attitude. I smiled thinking of her and all the adventures I could create for her. All of a sudden, I opened my eyes again, and there was Kayenne! The girl I had just made up, was standing right there. I pinched myself and blinked a couple times. I took deep breaths and kept on walking. " What, your just going to ignore me? " the girl said in an australian accent. I stopped and my heart beated quicker than it did when I was around Nicholas. I turned around and my eyes were wide. " What?! Wait...! Who..why..where?! " I said confused. " I am Kayenne. You thought of me. I would love to be a princess, how come you don't!? " Kayenne asked with a smile. " I must be dreaming.." I said with a sign and turned around. " Wait! " Kayenne yelled. She ran up to me and smiled. " I am real..well not really..I am your made up doll.." Kayenne said. I laughed. " Wow..okay. " I said. Kayenne was pretty. She had on light eyeliner and a little touch of mascara. She wore faded blue jeans and a purple halter top. " Well..you are going to have to wait in my room while I have dinner with...a prince...tonight. " I said pausing with a smile at 'prince' . " Okay then!! " Kayenne said. We walked back to the castle...and I knew that whatever that flower had done..was magical.
