When I got to Em's house I went to her door and before I could even knock she answered the door and pulled me inside."Case this is my cousin Jason. Jason this Cassandra,but call her Cassie unless you want your @$$ kicked." she said as she introduced us.I looked at him and breath caught in my throat. He was amazing.He had black hair the same as mine.It looked like he had just woken up from a restless night,yet that hair style looked amazing on him.He was wearing a tux and dress shoes,yet he still looked casual.And his eyes.I only have three words:Oh my god.They were,for a loss of a better word, amazing.They were deep blue."Um...Hi."I said in a very bored voice.I was a reflex.I always am emotionless when people are around.He raised an eyebrow at my tone.But other than that he just said,"Hey."in the same tone as me."Okay let's go our we'll be late."Em said pulling both of us out of the house.When we got to the car William,my chofer,opened the door and let us in.I got in last and said to William,"Thanks Will.Please take us to the party." He nodded as he closed the door.When I looked back at Em she had already raided the mini fridge and was about to drink some of the champange.I gave her a glare and she stuck out her tounge."Em.You know I don't let you have any of that before important parties.You can have some when we get there."She gave me an evil look and was about to open it anyways when Jason grabbed it out of her hands and put it back in the fridge."Thanks"I said to him as I tried not to laugh at the face Emma was making.It was like she was happy,sad,angry,and confused all at the same time.She noticed me and glared.That sent me over the edge.I burst out laughing.By the time we were at the ball we were all laughing.I stopped myself and composed my face instantly.The other 2 were having more trouble.I got annoyed and stepped out of the limo to wait for them.5 minutes later they got out and we started walking towards the orphanage.Half way there I tripped and fell.As I was about to hit the ground I pair of strong arms wrapped around me and steadied.Then some whispered in my ear,"Be more careful sexy."I turned around and saw it was some random creep.I took his arms from around me and twisted them were they were behind his back.I then whispered in his ear, "One,if you ever touch me again I'll snap your arms off.Two,if you ever call me that again I'll kick your ass.And three,if I ever see you disrespecting a woman like you just did me I'll kill you."And with that I threw him to the ground and stormed towards the building.I could feel Em and Jason Watching after me but I didn't care.After A few seconds they caught up with me. "Wow."Jason said.I could feel the tension in Emma so just to calm her down I said,"I overracted.I shouldn't have lost my temper like that."Tough I was actually glad I did that.I think Emma was going to say something but we reached the ball right then.I opened the door and went to the stage to get the party started.i said a speach and told everyone to have a good night.I was rushing off the stage when Emma caught me and said,"Oh no you don't."She then pulled me back to the center of the stage and said,"Everyone if I could have your attentio.Today is Miss Cassandra's birthday and she is going to honor us with a song."I glared at her.But she quickly left the stage and everyone clapped.Then one of the caretackers asked what song.I answered,"Just Like You by Three Days Grace."She walked over to the speakers and turned the song on.The music started and I began to sing.

When the music stopped and everyone clapped.I bowwed and quickly got off the stage.When I was down Emma came over to me and hugged me while saying,"That was amazing."I got out of her hold and she went to her love of her life and started dancing I was about to go sit down when Jason came over and asked,"Would you like to dance?"I was stunned for a second and then nodded.We started to dance to a rock song.It was suddenly turned into a slow song.I blushed as Jason pulled me close to him and we started dancing again.I looked up at him and realized he was only a few inches taller than me.He looked down at me with those beautiful eyes of his and........
