It was a beautiful summer morning and the sun shone down brightly on the lake. A dragonfly zoomed over the water and flew past a girl sitting in the grass. That girl was Adriana Walker. Something verry strange happend to her that summer and this is where her story begins.
"Adri! come inside this instant!" Her mother exclaimed from the opened back door.
"Why, mom? its so nice out." Adri complained.
Her mom's apeared in the door way. "Kaylee will be over soon so you need to eat."
"Kaylee could care less if she had to watch me eat...knowing her she will probably eat a secound breakfast." Adri said.
"Its still rude...and besides you have been out here sence 8 this morning. Did you know its already 10:30!?!"
Adri grumbled and started walking inside. "No, Mom, I dont know what time it is because...hmm...BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A CELL PHONE!"
She steped through the door as her mother yelled, "Your only 13! your brother waited untill he was 15 and so will you!"
"But that was a million years ago! times have changed, Mother. EVERYBODY has a cell phone except for me!"
"ADRI. YOU ARE GETTING A CELL PHONE WHEN YOU TURN 15. END OF STORY."
Adri grumbled and walked away from her mom and into the kitchen. She grabed an Eggo waffle from the freezer and began to eat it cold. Sudenly the doorbell rang and she whent to go answer it.
"Hey, Kaylee." She said as she opend the door.
Kaylee smiled and walked than she frowed when she gazed apon Adri's frozen waffle.
"Adri! stop eating those things without tosting them! Its nasty!"
Just to annoy kaylee, she shoved the rest of the waffle and chewed over exageratingly. (I dont know if thats a word...)
Kaylee put her hand over her mouth and pretended like she was going to barf. Adri laughed and then relized that she was still in her pajamas.
"Im gunna change so lets go in my room"
They whent upstairs and into Adri's room. The walls, carpet, bed, EVERYTHING was purple. It was Adri's favorite color.
Adri whent into her walk in closet and closed the door. She put on some jean shorts and a blue tank. She walked out and got her brush and brushed it in frount of the mirror in the bathroom. Kaylee walked in.
"I wish my hair was light brown like yours." Kaylee grumbled
"Why? your hair is black. Its awsome."
"i dont like it.."
"Well, Im not trying to be racist or anything...but your chinese..and most chinese people have black hair..."
"yea...."
"...and your hair is strait! I wish mine was..." Adri pointed out.
"Yea I-" Kaylee was cut off by Adri's mother screaming, telling her to empty out the dishwasher. Adri got so mad at her mother that she threw her brush at the mirror. The Mirror cracked.
"Aghhh! my mom is really going to kill me now!" Adri yelled and began to stomp out of the bathroom.
"Adrian..OMG!" Kaylee exclaimed.
"What?" Adri turned aroung and looked at the crack in the mirror where Kaylee was looking."
"OH MY GOSH"
There was a green light coming from the crack...and it was getting bigger.
