Just Teach Me [Alex Gaskarth] [oo2]
Chapter 1 : Just Teach Me [Alex Gaskarth] [oo2]
By the time I got to the store the Jerk was not following, maybe he will leave me alone for good. Maybe, just maybe. I walked around the store for awhile before finally getting to the dairy section. I grabbed a half gallon, and rushed toward the cashier. There wasn't many people in the store, so I managed to get out in a few minutes. I walked out of the store and looked both ways of the street, but there was something that caught my eye. He was back. He was surrounded by three girls with cameras and notebooks. I rolled my eyes and made my way through the parking lot and toward the sidewalk. And he didn't follow me! I let out a sigh of relief and started to smile. Then a sound started to follow me, a sound like a van rumbling. I slowly started to turn around, and I gasped at the sight of the blue van following me. "What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled out to him. I started to turn onto my street, and was already two houses down my own. He started to get out of his van and slammed the door. He raced up to me and grabbed my arm. "Hey." He breathed out and smiled. I glared at him. I pulled my arm away. "Leave me alone." I hissed. "Can I talk to you?" He extended his hand out to me. "Hi. I'm Alex Gaskarth." He smiled again. Gaskarth. It sounded familiar. I just stared at his hand, and slowly he pulled it back to his side. "Listen, I just want to get to know you better. Can I know your name?" He said. I stared into his brown eyes and looked away at the street. I sighed. "I'm Jane." I muttered. He smiled again. He sure does like to smile huh? "Jane. Well, I'm stoked now." He said. I glared at him again and started to walk away. He kept on following by my side, wonderful. How am I going to explain this to my mother? I walked up to my front door and started to fumble with my keys with one hand while the other was holding the milk. Alex grabbed the keys and opened the storm door. Then he unlocked the front door. I turned my head to look at him. "You're welcome." He muttered. I turned fully to him, "You seriously have to go now. My mom's gonna freak if she-" The front door opened and it revealed my mom. I stopped talking and just froze, but Alex just extended his hand to her and smiled. "Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a friend of Jane's." My mother seemed frozen in shock, but she shook his hand. "Hello, I'm Jane's mother. You can call me Brandi." She smiled. Oh God. Alex smiled "Brandi." He looked over to me and fixed his bangs from getting into his eyes. "Imma run now, Jane. Nice seeing you again." Then he was gone. I walked into the house and put the milk into fridge. "Who was that charming young man, Jane? Do you know him? How long have you known him? Does he-" "Mom! Seriously, stop!" I told her. I rushed past her and ran to my room. Ignoring all those stupid comments she made, "Don't you dare talk to me like that" and "I am your mother!" whatever. Once I shut the door, I pulled out the yellow paper from my pocket. Alex Gaskarth. That's where its from! Is he the guy that gives lessons? No. It couldn't be, there could be hundreds of Alex Gaskarth's in the world. I looked over to my closet where my guitar was. I walked over to it and grabbed my guitar case, and started for the front door. My mother of course asked where I was going, but I ignored her once more. She probably was faking it, after all, the neighbors were visiting. I took a left from my front door, and walked down the street to the nearby park. I kept walking straight until I hit another neighborhood. It was clearly different from mine. The houses were much bigger. I looked at all of the numbers on the doors until I found the one I was looking for. I stood in front of the white door, I could hear muffled sounds of laughter and yelling through the door. Great. It just might be him again. I knocked on the door three times. I listened as the door was unlocked and as it opened. There revealed a guy with brown hair with blonde highlights, his head was turned away in another direction. "Jack do that again, and I will kick you out of this house again!" He yelled. He was answered with laughter from others. His attention was to me now. He smiled and looked down at my guitar. "Jane, we meet again." Wonderful. "Ugh, I knew it was you. Great, you know what, Imma just leave, and pretend this never happened." I grunted and started to the side walk. Alex grabbed my arm and stopped me. "Come on. I'll give you free lessons just because I like you." He smiled. He sure likes to smile. "Fine." I muttered and was dragged by him into the house. It wasn't what I expected. I expected something messy or sloppy, but the house was spotless and was bright with white and red. Except the basement where he led me to. The floors were covered with crumpled up papers and guitar picks that were probably thrown around. There were three other guys in the base ment. One was behind a set of drums, he had shorter hair than the rest. One was standing up, he had blonde hair and he was thinking of something because he looked a bit lost. There was another one, he was sitting on the floor with his legs crossed, his hair was black with blonde highlights on his bangs. He was cute. "Guys, this is Jane. Jane this is my band. A.K.A All Time Low." He said. He pointed out that the one behind the drums was Rian. The one standing was Zack, and the one sitting was Jack. "Jane, just sit over there at that table. We're almost done with practice once we're done I'll give you your free lesson." I sat down at the table, but was soon joined by, I believe, Jack. He kept on staring at me with this look, and I just stared back with a confused look. We stared at eachother for at least two mintues. I nodded my head. "I like you. You're cute." Jack just smiled and left to practice. They started playing a song that was unfamiliar to me. "Should I write myself out of the history books and mark a place in time for every chance you took? dont get me wrong I know you've got your life in place I've yet to take the hint someday I'm sure I'll get the picture Stop Waiting Up!" I had to admit, Alex has a really nice voice. He wasn't playing the guitar, only Jack and Zack were. He moved around with the mic in his hands, and bobbed his head to the beat of the drums. They were actually a really good bad, good music, good lyrics. They started to finish up. Alex and Jack approached me with their acoustic guitars in their hands. "We both are going to teach you, ok?" Alex asked. "Because I can play better than he can, that's why he needs my help." Jack said and turned to Alex. "Isn't that right?" "No. So Jane, are you ready?" "Yeah," I said and took out my guitar. Here's goes nothing.
