Achilles awoke with a slight pressure on his chest. Looking down he saw you cuddled into his chest. Achilles looked down with a smile as he watched as you slept on. Your legs were entangled with his and your blonde hair was covering part of your beautiful face As he tucks the locks of hair behind your ear, the sun shines through the holes in the tent lighting your every feature making you look like what your name truly meant. He lightly cups your check and ran his hand over your silky skin. You groan a little, as you move more closely to Achilles body, being drawn to his body heat. Achilles chuckles and his eyes run down the course of your exposed body, they stop at you hips, they were slightly bruised from last night's events.
Memories of that pleasurable evening pass through his mind. He wished every night could be like that, but he knew that once Angel's job was done she would have to leave. He wondered what she was really here to do. Achilles knew that she was sent to aid Troy against Greece in the war, but was there more to it? Was she sent down here as an assassin? And if so, who was it meant she was to kill?
His thoughts were cut off as the tent flap was pulled back and sunlight flooded in. "My lord, there's—" Achilles raised his hand to his lips as he glance away from Angel to look at Eudorus. The intruding warrior glanced down at the sleeping figure beside his lord, nodded and left the tent. Achilles slowly eased out of bed, you turned and shifted on your side as he moved. He placed the blanket over your body, grabbed a tunic, throwing it on as he walks out of the tent.
Eudorus was patiently waiting outside. "Tell the men to start loading up the ship. We're going home." Achilles orders as the walks away.
Eudorus looks surprised at his lord's request but none the less the saids "Gather the stores" as he walks away toward the men.
Achilles walks a few feet, and then he sees Odysseus. He walks towards the man as he holds a cup out. Achilles accepts the goblet, graciously, as he toasts the cup with Odysseus. Both lords take a long sip from their goblets. Then Odysseus speaks "Agamemnon is a proud man. But he knows when he's made a mistake."
Achilles looks over at him, "The man sent you to make his apologizes?" he voices softens as he continues, "What are you doing enthralled to that pig of a king?"
Odysseus shakes his head, "The world seems so simple to you, my friend…but when you’re a king, very few choices are simple."
Achilles takes a swing from his goblet; Odysseus continues "Ithaca can not afford an enemy like Agamemnon".
"Are we supposed to fear him?" Odysseus head shoots up at Achilles words.
He quickly saids "You don't fear anyone. That's your problem. Fear is a useful." He looks down then back to Achilles' face. "We need you back. Greece needs you."
"Greece got along fine before I was born. Greece will be Greece long after I am dead." Achilles saids, his voice hard as he looks around the shore. The waves roll against the shore, as the sun beats down on the sand. Men from different cities of Greece fill the beach. Some sharpen swords, others eating breakfast, all merrily chatting with one another as if the war they were in was not important.
"I'm not talking about the land", Odysseus saids as he continues slowly "the men need you." Silence passes between the two men then Odysseus speaks sincerely, "Stay, Achilles. You were born for this war."
Achilles lightly shakes his head as he looks at the king of Ithaca, "Things are less simple today."
"Women have a way of complicating things." he looks at Achilles as he smirks. Achilles returns the look, then saids, "Of all the kings of Greece, I respect you the most." he continues his voice changing, "But in this war, you're a servant".
"Sometimes you have top serve in other to lead." Odysseus wisely saids, "I hope you understand that one day." He pats Achilles on the shoulder as he leaves.
Patroclus, Achilles' young cousin walked up to Achilles hearing the whole conversation earlier, "We're going home?" he questions. Achilles leans back on elbows as he saids" We sail in the morning."
"Greeks are being slaughtered. We just can't sail away", he saids bent on staying.
"If it’s a fights you still long for, there will always be another war. That I promise you."
"These are out countrymen. You betray all of Greece just to see Agamemnon fall." he saids fiercely.
Achilles stands up, "Someone has to lose." He saids as he walks away into his tent. Patroclus gets a tight look on his face as he walks away, silently think of a plan. He will not leave his countrymen to die.

n Back in Troy the generals gathered with the king in his throne room to form a war council. The generals were saying that they should finish off the Greeks while their morale was down. Prince Hector saids this was foolish because the Myrmidons (Achilles soldiers) did not fight yesterday; there is fighting within the Greeks camp. He saids we shouldn't go head on because they have their ships, and they should come to us since our walls can not be breached. He goes on saying that they should not underestimate the Greeks, just because they underestimated them. The Trojans under King Priam's orders were to attack the Greek army in one say at daybreak.

You awake feeling the sun's raying dancing across your skin. You feel the spot next to you to find it empty. You jolt up, wondering where the so called immortal is. Looking around the room, you find nothing but his personal items. "Achilles?' you call out panic lacing your voice.
'Was I just one of his whores? How could be use me like that?' you thought. You called out his name a second time but stopped half way through as the golden warrior walked through the tent, a dress slung over one of his arms as he carries plate of food. In your head you sigh. 'Ok, good, at least the man has the decency to provide food and clothing for the person he bedded.'
"I suggest you cover up, unless you would like to go for another round." He saids suggest in his deep voice. His voice sent shivers through your body.
'Cover up? What is he…?' You glance down at yourself and realized that your upper half was exposed. You quickly grabbed the blanket and held it close to your chest, a lightly blush covering your checks. The dress was sky blue. The design looked like this:
You took the dress from Achilles with a thank you. He leaves the tent to let you change. 'It's not like he hasn't seen all of me, but I'm thankful he has manners.' You looked down at the dress and take in a gasp. It was beautiful. You carefully put on the dress and smooth down your hair, it fell in waves down your back. The fabric of the dress was soft and felt like satin against your skin. You noticed that the fabric made your eyes look dark and made them stand out. The color looked great against your sun kissed skin. The pins in your hair were lost from your struggle to save your virginity from the men earlier.
You were very grateful that Achilles came that day. If he hadn't…. you shuddered thinking of the possibilities. You knew that you did not regret last night. If the gods were to punish you for giving into temptation, lust and possibly love. Then let them damn for you all cared.
As you make your way outside, you noticed Achilles and his men crowded around a fire chatting merrily. As you approach the men turn their eyes toward you, all except for Achilles whose back is turned to you. Achilles senses you graze and turns around to stare at you. His eyes widen in surprise, and he drops his goblet of wine as it goes crashing into the sand, spilling its contexts. You smile as you walk over to him, and stand beside where he sat. His graze looks over your face, and then moves to the rest of your body as his eyes disclosing you.
Your slender fingers slither under his chin as you force him to look into your eyes. When blue and blue meet, you stare into each others eyes searching for something. There in the corner of his eye you find it. You smile again as you slowly bring his lips to yours as you give him an innocent kiss. You feel Achilles tense up at first then relax ad your thumb caresses his check. You break away and smile at him again.
"Good morning" you say in a cooing voice, it causes not only Achilles eyes to widen but also of those of his men. You smirk as you take a seat next to Achilles. After a few moments of the men staring in a daze at you, Achilles finally saids after clearing his throat, "Men, this is Angel, The Angel of War." A murmur of whispers breaks out amongst the men when they hear you name. They knew you were captured at the Temple of Apollo, but they thought Agamemnon would have killed you by now. One of the men muster up the courage to ask," How are you still alive?"
You look at the solider who asked the question you were waiting for, and gave him and appreciative smile, "You see Agamemnon only kept me alive because he was hoping to get something out of it. He wanted my virginity" you say quietly.
Beside you, you feel Achilles tense and ball his hands into fists. You continue casting a look at Achilles, "But it seems that the better man has won the spoils of war this time." All the men's gazes shift toward Achilles, whose smirking while taking a swing from his new goblet.
"Achilles…..you didn't…..?" Patroclus asks slowly. When Achilles smirk does flatter he saids loudly, "You did!" Achilles saids nothing but keeps that satisfied look on his face. Patroclus puts his head in his hands and groans. You could only imagine what he was thinking. The man sitting beside Achilles roughly pats him on his back. Things like "How was she?" and "Achilles, you dog!" come from his men. You blush and look down embarrassed.
You feeling something warm in you hand. You glance over to see a warm rough tanned hand holding your own. You look over Achilles as he tugs you over so you sitting shoulder to shoulder. You smile at Achilles as he continues to talk amongst his men. The whole time you were with him he would look at you from the corner of his eye.

Achilles held you in his arms after making love. The moon shone down on you both as you lay together. Achilles hand caressed your face slowly sending tingles up your spine as you looked into each other eyes. "Am I still you captive?" you asked.
Achilles hand trails down to your neck his eyes never leaving yours as he tenderly saids, "You're my guest".
You smiled at him. "In most countries guest can leave whenever they want."
"You should leave then." He answers as he pulls you closer to him.
You stare at him for a long time trying to read his expression. "Would you leave all this behind?" you question.
Achilles takes his time thinking over the question before saying, "Would you leave the gods?"
The question left the air stale and silent. "Even if I could, I do not have a choice in the matter. I am bound to them. They do as they please. They will summon me whenever they wish; they decided who I am to kill. They control most of my freedom, but they do not control who I love. That choice is for me and me alone. Achilles, do you understand?" You look into his eyes; they always seem to grow soft when they look at you. His body looses its tense position and it looks as if he is at peace in the world.
Achilles cupped your checks, you lean into his palm as he saids, "I've never had someone to care about. I've never let myself care enough to miss someone; I've always thought needing someone was a weakness. The only thing I cared about was fighting, being remembered. That was until I met you. You taught me how to care and that fighting is not everything. You shine like the brightest star in the sky. You seem to care for everyone and everything, even tough you were made for destruction. I love you Angel. That is something I've never said to anyone else. You’re the only one who could ever be right for me. No other. Just You."
'Only you.' His words ran through your head." I love you too, Achilles. Nothing will ever separate us, not even death." A silent tear leaked from you eye. Achilles gently wipes it away with his thumb, and lean in, kissing you. As your lips meet you put all your love for him into it, you had a feeling you weren't going to see him for a while.
