“....We can live like Jack and Sally, if we want! Where you can always find me! And we'll hav--” Emi was running around the Akatsuki base, holding out her arms, singing that.
And she continued, until she got on somebody's last nerve...
“EMI! JUST SHUT UP!” She stopped abruptly, and turned around to see who had yelled at her, her face fell..
“S-sorry Kakuzu-sama...” she said, looking down, as tears threatened to pour from her eyes.
It's not like she cried easily, no, Emi didn't cry much. She only cried when people she cared about made her feel bad, or completely stupid. And this made her feel stupid. Completely, and utterly, stupid.
'Oh Kakuzu.
Kakuzu, Kakuzu, Kakuzu....
Why do you taunt me so.

She looked up, to see him gone. “Perfect.” she mumbled. “P-E-R-fect.”
She turned around, walking back to her room.
She ran into someone and yelled, “What the Fu---- Oh! Hey Tobi!” She put on a fake smile.
Tobi looked at her, “Uh... Why is Emi-chan sad? She's a good girl!” he said, hugging her, “Is something wrong with Emi-chan?”
Emi turned to her door, “No... Nothing Tobi, I just wanna be alone..” she reached out to the door handle.
“Is it Kakuzu?”
That caught her off guard. “W-What?” she almost whispered out..
Tobi sighed, “Emi-chan, Tobi knows you like Kakuzu, Tobi isn't that stupid.”
Emi's jaw went slack.. “Tobi.....You don't know what your talking about...” she said, opening her door..
“Tobi knows for a fact that Kakuzu likes Emi-chan...” he said, about to walk away.. Emi grabbed his arm.
“What'd you say?” Emi didn't ask, but commanded.
“Tobi said that Kakuzu likey Emi-chan...” he said, a matter of factly...
Emi stared at him, “W-what?” she asked, completely confused, wondering if she should trust this boy, “Are you serious? How do you know?”
Tobi took in a deep breathe, “Well, Tobi heard Kakuzu and Hidan talking one day about who they like in the Akatsuki, and Kakuzu said Emi-chan's name, but then Tobi thought that of course Kakuzu would like Emi-chan, because she is so nice, and because it would either be her or Konan-chan, then Hidan said a name, I think it was Rayn, so now Tobi knew that they were talking about anyone in general...So Tobi figured that Kakuzu likey Emi-chan!” he finished, taking a very deep breath after.
Emi stared at him wide eyed.
“And your not making this up?” she asked seriously.
Tobi shook his head no, “Tobi wouldn't do that! Tobi is a good boy!”
Emi smiled, “Uh, thanks, Tobi...” she said, hesitantly...
“Your welcome, Emi-chan~~!” he said in a sing song voice, skipping off...
Emi looked at her feet, then at her door, as the opened, and walked through it..
“So...Kakuzu likes me?” she asked herself, still staring that the ground...
“Yep. How'd you know?”
Emi jumped, “What In the FUCK?! HIDAN?!?” she looked at her bed. There Hidan layed, sprawled out on it, reading some magazine.
Then her cheeks started blazing, 'Kakuzu likes me...???!?' she thought...
Emi looked up at him, Hidan laughed.
Hidan smiled, “It really doesn't matter though, because no one could ever love that bag of threads anyway.” he said, smirking.
Kakuzu walked by the door, it was partly open, as he heard Hidan's words, 'no one could ever love that bag of threads' he stopped, and looked in, kinda mad, until he saw Emi talking to Hidan...
His face fell, knowing what you were talking about..
Emi's face got red with anger, “Ya know what, Hidan?! SHUT THE FUCK UP! People can, and do, love him! Gosh! Why not!? Other than the fact that he's fucking money obsessed doesn't mean Kakuzu isn't lovable! Everyone can love someone!”
Kakuzu watched as Hidan just stared up at her...
“Gah, Why are you such a jerk to him!? He's a human being too, and you have no right to say 'no one can love him'!” She yelled, face crimson from yelling.
“Haha, Why in the fuck are you making such a fucking huge ass deal?...... Oh my Jashin.... You like him???” he asked, trying to hold back fits of laughter..
Emi looked down and nodded slightly.
Hidan's laughing ceased. “What? Seriously?”
Emi looked up at him, nodding, as tears threatened to fall from her eyes, “See? People can love him....” she said, staring into his eyes, almost crying.
Kakuzu almost fell over, Was he hearing right?
He moved his feet so that he could stand straighter, in case he had to run or something.. But his foot hit something.
Emi heard something from the door way, she turned around to see no other than Kakuzu looking in.
Her eyes got bigger, as the tears started falling from her eyes.
She turned back to Hidan, then to Kakuzu, then ran out of the room, pushing past Kakuzu...
Hidan sat up, “What the hell, Kakuzu?”
Kakuzu just stood there, speechless..
Hidan shook his head, “Did you hear that? She likes you back..”
Kakuzu was still trying to register all of this..
Hidan punched him, “Dammit! She likes you, Kakuzu! Go after her ya dumb ass!”
Kakuzu looked at him, then ran out the door, yelling, “Emi!”
Emi was running through the woods, crying.. She stopped, looking up at her favorite tree..
She jumped into it, still crying...Then heard a voice yelling, “EMI!!” she recognized that voice to be Kakuzu's... The tears started pouring out harder, then she heard a twig snap behind her tree..
She looked down, and there stood Kakuzu, looking up at her..
Emi glared at him, “Leave me the fuck alone..You fucking worthless bag of threads...” she said, trying not to stutter. She didn't want to say that..She didn't want to say it...
He looked down, and whispered, “I thought that you were different..I guess I was wrong though...” she spat out bitterly, “I don't even know why I bothered to come out here and get you..Hidan was right...I am not lovable....” he said, looking away, and started waling away, “I actually believed you...” he mumbled..”Must have been joking myself...”
Emi stared at his figure, regretting what she said, she really liked him...she loved him....
“Kakuzu!” she yelled, jumping from her tree, running up behind him, and hugging his back.
Kakuzu's body froze. It was completely tense, which worried Emi.
She breathed on his back, “I'm so, so sorry...” she said, tears coming to her eyes...
She let go of him, and fell to her knees crying, “I d-didn't mean it...I promise...I didn't...” she said, sobbing, face in her hands...”I am so...so...sorry..” her voice was cracking...
She heard foot steps that were walking away from her..
“Please...don't go...” she whispered, “Please...” she stood, 'He left me again.' she thought, then turned, and started running...
Pein stared at Kakuzu, “Where the hell is Emi.”
Kakuzu shrugged, “I have no clue. Now may I please go and count my money?” Inside he was thinking, 'Kami, finally someone notices other than me!'
Pin stared at him, “She's been gone for a week, Kakuzu. You were the last one to see her. Where is she.” he didn't asked, he commanded...
Kakuzu shrugged again, “I don't know, and I seriously don't give a fuck.” he said. Inside his heart was torn, 'What happened to her? Where the hell is she?!' he thought.....
Pein sighed, “Kakuzu, Emi liked you. She really, really liked you.”
Kakuzu's gaze shot up to see Pein, “What?”
Pein stared at him, “Yes. One day Emi came to me and asked me if relationships with other members were allowed..... I asked why, and she told me...She likes you.. A lot....” He said, sitting back down in his chair, “And now she's gone..... What did you do?”
Kakuzu looked up at him, eyes burning, “I did nothing.” he whispered. “She was the one who did something.”
Pein looked at him confused, “What?”
Kakuzu chuckled, “She called me worthless..” he whispered..
Pein stared at him, then looked down, and started doing paper work. Kakuzu turned to walk out, as he opened the door, he heard Pein say something strictly.
“Kakuzu, You have to find her.”
Kakuzu's eyes widened. “Now.” Pein finished, as the door closed.
Kakuzu stared at the ground, then started running.
'I have to find Emi.....' he thought, 'I just have to...'
Emi was sitting on the edge of her favorite lake, about 20 miles away from Akatsuki base..
“No one knows about my spot, except for me, except for me!” she sang, “No one, no one, no one knows about it...” she still sang... Then her eyes got a little watery.
“No one knows, about my spot....I want someone to know....I need someone to kno--”
She heard a voice, “Emi! Emi!”
Her eyes widened, as she jumped up and ran to a nearby tree, hiding behind it..
Into the clearing came a panicked Kakuzu, “Emi! Emi!? Are you here!?”
Her eyes got wider, 'What does he want?' she wondered..
Kakuzu fell to his knees, he sounded like he was crying, “Emi, please...”
Her eyes had more tears coming, his back was to her..
“Please...Why did you go?....Please....” his voice was cracking..
Emi started crying, holding back sobs, as she ran up behind him soundlessly, and hugged his back.
Kakuzu's eyes widened, as he heard someone whisper..
“I'm sorry....”
It was then that he knew who it was, he spun around, and hugged her, making her eyes widen..
Then, to his disbelief, she pulled off his mask, as she stared at it.
He was waiting for a crude remark, but then saw her smiling, tracing the stitches on his face with her fingers, crossing them lightly, as if she would hurt them..
He smiled, loving the feeling of her warm fingers across his now light pink cheeks..He closed eyes, just trying to feel her fingers...
Then she surprised him even more, as she kissed him, wrapping her arms around his neck..
He was to shocked to kiss back, so she pulled away, blushing...
“I-I'm sorry, Kakuzu, its just--” she was cut off by his hands holding her face, and he started kissing her, nipping at her lower lip, begging for entrance..
She opened her mouth, letting his tongue explore her mouth..
She moaned into his mouth, then felt him smirk into the kiss.
Then she pulled away, breathing hard...
Staring back into his eyes..
He smiled, making her smile..Then heard her say..
“Why do you hide your face? Its so beautiful...” she said, tracing the stitches again..
Kakuzu sighed, “Because I look like the freaking son of Jack the Skeleton and Sally the Rag doll......” he said, trying not to keep the eye contact that Emi was commanding.
Emi shook her head, holding his own, and turning it so that he was looking her in the eyes, “You're beautiful.....Just the way you are.....Don't hide it...” she said, staring into those endless neon green eyes.
Then kissed him again...
He smiling into this kiss, as he felt her tongue asking for entrance.
He obliged, letting her tongue take over his mouth, as he layed back on the ground, her ontop of him, as they kept the kiss..
His arms held her waist, as her hands went through his perfectly black hair...
He smiled, feeling her tongue rubbing his own, making him groan softly, then felt her grindig against his hips with her own, making him groan even louder..
Emi smirked, as she pulled away, trying to catch her breath..
“Kakuzu, Why did you come and find me?” she asked, kissing his neck, nipping at it...
He groaned slightly..”B-Because Pein made me...” he said, holding back a groan...
Emi smirked into his neck, “Is that the only reason?” she asked...
He groaned, “Y-yes...”
She frowned the sucked on that spot, “Really?” she said, sucking harder..
“N-No...” he gasped out, “I-I mi-missed you...” he said, pulling her face up to his, kissing her roughly..
She pulled away, “How'd you find me?”
Kakuzu looked at her, “I followed the song....”
He said, as she smiled, “Where you can always find me...”
As she kissed him...
