The exact same feeling returned from the same night years ago, it gave you the exact same murderous look, giving you the exact same chills in the exact same places as before. But you had to think this time
“No, I can’t be afraid now, not now, not ever”
You: I never thought I would see you again
It didn’t speak; since it was half dark it looked like a 3D shadow
Shadow: never thought I wouldn’t see you again
You: I thought I killed you...what do you want?
Shadow: you only killed my good side, not the dark side
You: well...if you’re going to kill me, do it
Shadow: I’ve had a long think since I was dead, it’s not going to satisfy me killing you, I thought of a much better life long punishment, I’m only a shadow now, but a shadow needs a person who is a coward, andwhy search for that person when I can just… haunt you forever
You: bring it
The shadow moved like lightningas it came straight for you, but suddenly you had a flashback, it was back at the dessert when you and Cloud were looking for Tifa, something pushed you off the cliff but you never saw it cause you forgot, but when that memory came back, it was clear that it was Jesses dark side that caused your whole fall
You: it was you all along b***h!
You jumped and grabbed it instead of falling backwards but shadow kept going fast and was heading towards the wall
You: oh c**p
The split second before it hit the wall you forward flipped and pushed off the wall in the opposite direction and landed in a crouch, you chuckled hearing shadow crashing against the wall and curse its head off, but you froze when you saw something move in the corner of your eye
“Oh s**t I forgot about Cloud”
You ducked just in time to miss his sword but right in the path where he round house kicked you across the ground hitting a pole. When you looked up you clearly saw him coming back for you, but when you saw his face he looked more hurt than before mentally and physically, the cut across his face was deeper than you first thought, blood dripped down his cheeks and forehead dripping to the ground. You looked in his eyes and it seemed as if he forced himself in a trance because all you saw was sadness and murder
You: your right… I can’t kill you no matter how hard I try
He stopped deadin his tracks and looked very angry, he quickly ducked in time to miss shadow’s black blade slicing the air above him, he collided his sword with shadow’s and it wasas if the battle between Sephiroth and Cloud a while ago repeated itself again as you watched in pain
“On the other hand where is Kadaj?”
You quickly figured that Cloud had killed them so quickly because they were weaker, and he still had enough time to kill you
“Now that’s a no no”
You got up feeling the battle between heart and mind was still at its peak, and you felt maybe your heart was winning
“maybe, I do deserve to die, all my near death experiences keep on coming, maybe it’s time for me to go, I only ever cause trouble”
You looked at Cloud who was beating the living hell out of shadow, and wondered
“Maybe I should help him if I’m going to die calmly in his hands; at least it’s worth it”

Shadow: so, you’re supposedly the great Cloud
Cloud: just shut up, I’ve had enough of you as it is
Shadow: I heard many things about you Cloud Strife, but, you look so familiar, I think I have seen you before
Cloud: of course you have, these past friggin days you idiot
Shadow: no, I think it was you that defeated me once a long time ago
Cloud: what?
He paused and Shadow took advantage to send him crashing to the ground and knocking his senses back into him. You on the other hand saw it all and triggered your anger
You: how dare you do that to him!
You launched yourself at shadow with full rage
You: I kill you, he kills me, get that through your head!!
Shadow: no I kill you and Cloud, not Cloud kills me, again
You: again?
Shadow chuckled and sent you flying to the ground roughly next to him. You panted lightly and opened your eyes next to you; Cloud was also looking at you but with full shock in his eyes as if he were asleep then thrown to the ground
You: Cloud?
Cloud: I can’t do it no matter how hard I try, I’m sorry for trying to kill you
You: its okay
You both rolled over in the opposite direction just in time to miss shadow purposely crash into the ground. You got up holding your Katana in battle position
You: you killed my parents… and now you’re gonna pay
Shadow went speeding at you so you jumped and grabbed hold again
Cloud: Sora let go!
You realised that you were high in the air and you clung tightly
Shadow: now let’s see you drop to your death
Shadow suddenly burst forcing you to let go. You felt the air rushing past your body as you came all the way down.
Just as you thought you were going to hit the ground, you felt the air rushing back past you as you went back towards shadow, you grinned when you realised it was a pair of strong arms holding you as you and Cloud safely landed on a roof of a small building. And for a small moment it felt that only and him were the only important things, and feeling that you knew, your heart had won.
