Sorry for the delay... I had a family reunion thing to go to that kept me trapped in a small town with no wireless connection for my poor laptop.

You took a deep breath, closing your eyes and leaning your head back. Oh, sweet relaxation. Lifting one hand to run through your hair, you smiled, completely at ease. The candles really did help with the mood, you noticed, as you could faintly see the waving lights through your mostly closed eyes. Pushing your feet out, you were amazed when they didn’t hit the other end of the bath tub. Your smile grew, for you had never been able to relax this nicely in a bath, since all of the ones you had ever used had been tiny things. Thank god Seto was so tall. Your smile dropped to a frown. Why were you thinking of him now? You were supposed to be relaxing. Yet another deep breath had you calming down again, and you redirected your thoughts to more peaceful ones, like chocolate. Oh, you were really craving chocolate now. The smile once again appeared on your face, and after a few more minutes of relaxing, you opened your eyes again. Because this was such a rare luxury, you planned to remain in the water for some time longer. And, noting the temperature was a bit cold, you reached for the handle to turn the hot water back on for just a few seconds. But as you did, an odd color flickered in the corner of your eyes. Curiously, you turned to look at what you had seen, only to jump slightly. Then, after regaining your composure, you quickly dropped down, hiding your body deep beneath the water’s surface. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?” you shout, all of your relaxation in vain as you looked over with wide eyes at the man standing in the doorway. Seto was leaning against the frame, and had been for a while, it appeared, by the way he was resting comfortably. “Well, I was here to ask you a question, but I forgot it,” he said, not seeming to understand why you were so angered, or perhaps he just didn’t care. “Get out!” you said sternly, but it didn’t seem to have any effect. “You frowned a couple minutes ago- what were you thinking about?” he asked, still remaining where he was standing. You took a minute to sweep all of the bubbles into a better cover, before looking up at him, the rage still present in your gaze. But your thoughts wrapped around his question, and you quickly remembered what you had been thinking about. “You,” you said flatly, enraged when his smirk grew. “You were thinking about me, huh?” Rolling your eyes at him, you shook your head lightly. “And I FROWNED. Doesn’t that say something?” He shrugged, walking into the bathroom. “Can you at least turn around and let me get a towel on?” You asked, watching as he ignored the question and continued to walk towards you. “Then just close your eyes?” you tried again, but got the same response. “Jackass,” you muttered, grabbing one of the towels from the side of the tub and pulling it under the water, covering yourself just as he sat down on the ledge. “What do you want?” you said coldly, using both of your hands to hold down the towel under the water, as you glared up at him. But you were unable to move because you couldn’t really get up without bringing out the wet towel, which would only make a mess. Plus, you knew the water was warmer than the air would be. “You,” he answered truthfully, and your eyes widened a bit, before narrowing. You mouth did the same, opening to say something, but shutting after a second when you thought better of it. “What?” you asked after a minute, still in shock and beginning to believe you had heard him wrong. What could he have said? Boo? Shoe? “You, I want you,” he repeated, though he knew you had heard him correctly. The shock quickly out of your system, you regained your composure again and looked back up at him. “Well, it isn’t a mutual feeling,” you shot back, your expression well hidden by the defensive barrier you had put up. He lifted an eyebrow, obviously not believing you. “Why are you suddenly on the defense, Sky?” he taunted, knowing that it would piss you off, which of course it did. “I don’t plan on being your next fling, Kaiba.” It was the first time you had called him that, but you found it appropriate. His eyes flashed at your comment, but for some reason you didn’t feel threatened. “You’re different from everyone else I’ve… been involved with.” He said, his own tone getting slightly defensive. “Yeah, because I’m not desperate to sleep with you,” you countered, the venom in your tone surprising even you. He was taken aback by your comment, and once again his eyes flashed. “Look, I didn’t mean to say that,” you said, closing your eyes as you realized just how bad that comment was. It had only been meant as an attack on him being a normal male, but you quickly realized that it certainly could be taken as much more than that. He could have easily interpreted that as you telling him that was the only thing he was good for, or the only thing that people liked about him. Opening your eyes, you lifted your head and looked up at Seto. “What I meant was that, well, obviously I’m not like anyone else you’ve ever… ‘been involved with’ and I don’t intend to be like them. Seto, I know your reputation, and I sure as hell do not intend to be another thing you can brag about, or anyone else can brag about for that matter. Okay?” you said, trying to explain yourself. “What makes you think that would happen?” he questioned, obviously accepting your apology. “No, I didn’t mean it like that either. Yeah, that’s part of the reason, but the other reason is that I’m just not interested. Okay, not ready.” You answered, closing your eyes and dropping your head back against the side of the tub in frustration, unable to get the words out right. “Well, don’t think that’s going to make me give up. In the mean time, will you go out on a date with me tomorrow night?” he questioned, and you narrowed your eyes, not sure what he was getting at. “As long as you understand that doesn’t change anything.” He smirked, and nodded his head in acknowledgement. With the smirk deepening, he tossed an arm over the tub for support, leaning down and pressing his lips to yours. Leaning up, your hands instinctively flew to the back of his head, and you lifted your body a few inches towards him. You hadn’t realized you had moved at all, truth be told, and you hadn’t moved much, but you had moved enough to let the towel slip to your waist. Quickly you noticed the cold air against your chest, and you tired to pull away, and put the towel back over you, but Seto’s free arm wrapped carefully around your back, holding you up. “Leave it, I’m not looking,” he whispered in your ear after pausing to take a breath. A moment later, his lips were on yours again, and you realized that he was telling the truth. So, though a bit reluctantly at first, you returned your hands to the back of his head, and deepened the kiss, ignoring the exposed feeling you had in the back of your mind. He wasn’t looking, so there was no reason to break the wonderful kiss, was there? After a few more minutes, he finally pulled away, and you slipped under the protective cover of the water again. He walked to the doorway, turning to once more look over you longingly, before leaving the room.

“Why are your clothes wet?” Mokuba asked, leaning on his brother’s bed as he watched the older Kaiba walk into the room. “Sky was taking a bath,” he said, shrugging as he walked into the bathroom to grab a toothbrush and toothpaste. “That explains why she would be wet, not you.” Mokuba said, looking at his brother with his eyebrows lifted. He took a moment to put the toothpaste on the toothbrush, before looking over at his brother. “I kissed her,” he said simply, before starting to brush his teeth. Though Mokuba knew that his brother couldn’t respond until he was done brushing, he still decided against waiting until he was finished. “Ooh,” he joked, laughter in his eyes as he watched his brother’s face turn to one of annoyance, “Oh, Seto, I’m just joking. Hopefully you asked her on a date?” He added, watching as his brother nodded while brushing. “Good for you. And Seto? I’m warning you, don’t toy with her like you do with other girls.” This comment needed an actual response, not just a nod or a shake of the head, and Seto knew that. So, once he had washed out his mouth, he looked at his brother, his gaze intense. “What do you mean by that?” he asked in a slightly defensive tone. “Oh, come on, Seto. Everyone knows you have a lot of flings, but never any girlfriends. Don’t even try to deny it.” Though reluctantly, Seto nodded, agreeing. “Well, that’s what I mean. Sky’s not just another one of those girls you’ve dated. She’s a lot better than them, and you know it.” It took a moment to get used to the idea that Seto was taking advice from his five years younger brother, but he quickly got over that. “Believe me, I know. But, Mokuba,” he started, but his brother cut him off. “No, Seto, don’t continue that. There’s nothing she’s trying to get from you. If you haven’t noticed, she isn’t one of those girls, and she doesn’t care about your money or your business. Stop isolating yourself, big brother, you need someone else in your life. And if you don’t agree, then fine. But don’t pursue Sky, because she deserves better than that.” The little speech had left Seto with much to think about. Continuing with his nightly habit, he tidied up whatever looked out of place, and disappeared into the closet. Moments later, he reappeared wearing just his silky pajama bottoms. “Just think about it, okay?” Mokuba asked, sensing that his brother needed space. Getting up, he walked to the door, looking over his shoulder once at his brother before exiting and closing the door slowly. Seto sighed, walking over to the bed and pulling back the covers, but was stopped by a knocking at the door. He looked at the door for a minute, debating whether or not to open the door, but reluctantly walked over. Pulling back on the handle, he was expecting to see his brother again, but instead he saw you standing in the hallway in your nightgown. An amused smirk on his face, he leaned against the doorframe, and lifted an eyebrow, waiting for you to speak. “My room is making weird noises,” you muttered in an embarrassed voice, not happy with your situation. That one eyebrow he had lifted was soon raised even higher. “You’re scared of your room?” he mocked, obviously not believing a word of what you were saying. “Shut up, okay? Seriously, it’s making weird noises and I keep feeling like I’m being watched.” He looked you over, remaining silent as he tried to judge whether or not you were really being serious. “What do you want me to do about it?” he questioned, smirking because he already knew your answer. But he was going to make you say it, and you were very annoyed at that. “Can I just stay in your room tonight?” you muttered again, looking up to meet that smirk still on his face. He stepped back, extending one arm to gesture you into the room, and using the other to close the door behind you. “Where do you want me to sleep?” you asked, looking around the room and noting all of the furniture. “The bed,” he responded, and you spun around to face him, opening your mouth to object, but he cut you off. “You don’t have a pillow or a blanket, do you?” Sighing, you knew that arguing would be pointless, and if anything at all came from it, you would just be sent back to your room. So, ever so reluctantly, you made your way to the untouched side of the bed, pulling back the covers, and watching him carefully. Your eyes still on him, you climbed into the bed, and pulled up the covers. He flicked off the light once you got settled, and made his way to the other side of the bed, slipping in and facing you. It took a minute for your eyes to adjust to the light, but when they did, you noticed how close he was to you. You started to back up a bit, but his arm snaked around you and pulled you back closer. “Seto—” you started to object, but he cut in. “I know.” He said firmly, but his lips were on yours within seconds. You once again found that you couldn’t pull back. Your arm unconsciously found its way to his back, and instinctively pulled you closer to him, so that you were pushed up right against him. Your lips never once left his, but after another minute or so, he broke the kiss for air. When he opened his eyes, he smirked, looking at your face which was still only centimeters from his and your bodies less than even that. You didn’t say anything, simply dropping your head down onto the pillow, your neck resting over his arm, your eyes still on him. After a moment, you closed your eyes, and started to think about sleep. He watched you thoughtfully as you drifted off to sleep in his arms, and gently pressed his lips to your forehead before falling asleep himself.

The light pouring in from the window woke you up. Gently, you opened your eyes, blinking a few times to clear up your vision. But you didn’t recognize the room that filled your view. Startled, you started to get up, but you felt an arm draped around you. Looking over your shoulder, you remembered that you were in Seto’s room, and relaxed again. You could feel his breath against the back of your neck, and carefully, you maneuvered yourself so that you were facing him. For some reason, you leaned in and softly, your lips brushed against his. Pulling back, you realized his eyes had not opened, and smiled. His arm shifted, but you looked at his eyes and noted he hadn’t opened them. A second later, however, his arm pulled you in, pressing your lips roughly against his. Smiling into the kiss, you moved one of your arms into the air, the hand resting on his back as you instinctively pulled closer to him again. He deepened it suddenly, quickly rolling so that you were underneath him as he continued to kiss you. Unfazed by the somewhat predictable movement, your own back arched up so that your body was closer to his. He pulled back, looking over you quickly before pushing off the bed in a frustrated manner, walking across the room. You watched, confused, as he disappeared into what you assumed to be his bathroom, and returned moments later in his work clothes. He grabbed his briefcase, walking over to the door before once again looking over at you lying in his bed. From across the room, you could hear him curse softly, and at this you smirked. You knew he was pissed about going to work when he could have been with you in his bed. “Seven?” he asked quickly, obviously in a rush, and it took you a minute to figure out what he meant. You nodded to him, realizing that it was the date he was referring to, and watched as he smirked and walked out of the room. Laughing lightly, you fell back onto the bed, and rested for a few minutes before finally getting up and walking to your bedroom. You got dressed and jogged down the steps, walking into the kitchen and grabbing a bagel. Taking a bite of it, you turned and jumped slightly when you noticed Mokuba standing behind you. Swallowing, you lifted your free hand to your heart, patting it twice and making him laugh. “Something you wanted, kiddo?” you asked, causing him to roll his eyes at the nickname. “I was just wondering where you were.” You shrugged, watching him lift an eyebrow. “Sleeping.” Both of his eyebrows now rose, and you realized he knew the truth. “With Seto,” you nodded, but before you could explain, he continued talking, “Sky, I talked to him last night, I don’t know why… Obviously it didn’t get through. I’m sorry,” he said, and you wrinkled your brow, slightly confused by his statement. “Oh, Mokuba, no. No, nothing happened. What do you take me for?” you stated, quickly changing from an informative tone to a slightly defensive one. “Sky, I just know Seto, and he always has a way to get what he wants, is all. Wait, did you say nothing happened? Seriously? Then why were you in his room?” he questioned, and you quickly explained. “Uh… my room was making weird noises?” you said, though it was more of a question than a statement. He only lifted an eyebrow. “And Seto bought that?” Narrowing your eyes, you threw the bagel at his head, smiling when it hit the target easily. “Well, he didn’t believe me… but it’s the truth,” you said, watching as he brushed the sesame seeds off of his head. “Mmhmm. Whatever you say, Sky.” He decided, lifting his hands defensively and causing you to roll your eyes.

You didn’t know what had woken you up; all you knew was that you were awake. Not once opening your eyes, you concentrated on your senses for a minute. You could feel the silk against your recently shaven legs, and heat. Lots of heat. When you focused more, you could tell there was a difference between the silky feelings on your legs. Interested, you rubbed your leg up and down a bit, comparing the two silks on the top and bottom of your right leg. Still trying to figure out what was going on, you turned your focus to your arm, rubbing your arm up a bit, before instantly noticing a big difference. Underneath your arm, you could feel that there certainly wasn’t fabric there, and the hard bumps that you felt under your arm you instantly realized were muscle. Eyes flicking open, you found yourself staring at someone’s chest and the covers. You lifted your head, looking over to see who you were laying on, only to notice Seto smirking down at you. It took you a minute to get the signal from your brain to your body that you had to move, as you realized you had been, and still were, laying half on Seto as if he was a body pillow. After pulling away, you looked down quickly to see the dress you had worn last night, and because you had pulled the covers back when you moved, you also noticed that Seto was wearing only his silky pajama bottoms, like the other night. “How did I get here?” you ask, deciding that of all the questions swarming in your head, this was the most pressing one. Seto looked at you, that smirk still on his face, as he shifted to a seated position. “Relax. You feel asleep on the boat, and I carried you here, because I didn’t know whether or not you would be okay with the noises in your room.” He said, and you nodded, remembering the date the night before, where Seto had set up a romantic dinner on a private boat. “For the record, I would have been fine, but thanks for caring,” you said, and then remembered that just a few minutes ago, you had been testing the silk with your leg, which meant… “Uh, yeah,” you started, “Sorry about… that,” your face must have had some color on it, because you could see Seto’s smirk growing while you looked down, embarrassed. “Perhaps you should return the favor,” he said, causing you to look up, a bit confused and worried at the same time. “Relax,” he added, seeing your reaction, as he swiftly pulled you closer to him and flipped you over so that he was above you. Smirking, he bent his head down, pressing his lips onto yours ever so softly. But the gentleness slowly faded, as he turned the kiss more passionate, more dominant. You weren’t fazed by the change, having expected it all along, but that didn’t make you any more in control of your actions. Without warning, your back arched up, and your hips rose up to meet his, your hands quickly moving to the back of his head. Obviously pleased with your reaction, you could feel Seto smirking into the kiss. Feeling a hand behind your head, and added pressure on your hips, you reluctantly relaxed your muscles, allowing Seto to gently rest you back onto the bed. Then, pulling back, he smirked down at you. “I think we’re even now,” you said, a smirk of your own playing on your lips once your glazed vision cleared. Pushing him back, you rolled off of the bed, walking over to the door. “Thank you,” you added, turning to look at him. “For what?” he questioned, his gaze steady on yours. “I know you didn’t have to stop, and you and I both know I couldn’t have put up much of a fight.” He kept his eyes on yours, but he didn’t say a word, and you couldn’t think of what you would have said had you been him. Opening the door, you walked down the hallway towards your room.
