"What happened!?" Tsunade asked.
Kakashi, Guy, Naruto, Sasuke, Raimundo and Neji stood in front of the desk of Tsunade.
"H-how did this happen!?" Shizunesaid in shockafter what she and her Mentor heard from the team.
Kakashi spoke up. "Well...you see. Keoko was fightingRenji and she was hesitant, which caused him toget aclear shot in stabbing Keoko with his sword."
"And what happened after that?" Tsunade asked.
"Well...." Kakashi started.
The blade pierced deep into your stomach and you gasped in pain as you spat out blood. Renji laughed and faced Zabimaru straight in the air, with you on the tip of it's blade in a slouched position.
"Keoko!" you heard Sasuke yell.
An image of a smiling Renji appeared in your mind. Goodbye Renji nii-san...you thought as he continued to laugh. "Good...bye..." you muttered.
The others looked as you were now unconscious.
Renji stopped laughing and just smirked. He spoke to you even though you were unconscious. "Heh, wasn't really much of a fight. Though I do give you credit for effort." Renji then threwyou off from the tip of Zabimaru, discardingyou like trash. You landed a couple of feet away from everyone, blood seeping out of the wound around your stomach area, blood getting onto parts of your Chunin vest.
"You bastard!" Naruto yelled. "How can you do that to her!? She may not have been your sister by blood but she was still your little sister!"
Renji looked at Naruto. "Hey...why don't you just keep your nose out of my business, huh?" Naruto glared at Renji as he spoke. "What we do is none of your business." Then Renji jumped up into the air, moving further back, towards the forest. He held up his right index and middle fingers. He yelled to the others from the distance. "I had enough fighting here for today! Dispel!"
Then all of a sudden Naruto, Neji, Raimundo, Sasuke, Guy and Kakashi were able to move freely again. Renji smirked and quickly had disappeared into the forest as quickly as they stood.
Sasuke was the first to stand up. He ran quickly past the others towards the direction where Renji had disappeared. "Get back here you coward!" Sasuke yelled.
"Sasuke stop!" Kakashi yelled.
Sasuke quickly halted to a stop and turned to look at his sensei. Henarrowed his eyes at him. "Kakashi are we just gonnalet him get away after what he did!? We have to go after him!"
"We don't have thetime now." Kakashi stated calmly. Heglanced at Keoko. "Right now we have to get Keoko back to the village so her wounds are treated. She got hit pretty badly with that last attack. Chasing Renji will justbe a waste of time, he's probably a good distance away from here by now."
Sasuke glanced at your body and shook in anger. He so badly wanted to go after Renji and make him pay. But he knew Kakashi was right. If they didn't get back to the village to get your wounds treated ASAP, the you would die.
Sasuke nodded. "Okay then." Then with out asking Sasuke walked over and picked your body up, holding it bridal style.
Kakashi nodded to the others. "Lets hurry and get back to the village now!" The others nodded and everyone sped off the the village.
"And she was taken down that easily by him?" Tsunade asked, hearing the horrible news about her apprentice.
Kakashi nodded. "Yeah. He didn't even have to try." he said. "He was just to strong for her."
Tsunade sighed. "Did the medical ninja make sure to do emergency treatment when you dropped her off at the hospital?"
Neji nodded. "Yeas ma'am. The medical ninja said they will do the best they can and have you check on her later."
Tsunade sighed. "I see." She looked up at the others. "Your all dismissed."
"Yes ma'am." They said, and left out of the office. When they all left Tsunade sighed.
"It's hard to believe that Keoko just lost like that." Shizune said, petting the pet pig; Tonton. "With all the training she's had, she should've at least gotten out of that battle with minor injuries. And also...for her to just...hesitate in battle? It's just...so surprising."
"I know." Tsunade said. Tsunade stood up. "I'm going to go check on her."
"I'll come along too." Shizune said. Tsunade and Shizune stepped out of the office and made there way towards the Leaf Village hospital.
~::With Naruto and the boys::~
"Hey guys...." Naruto spoke. Sasuke, Neji and Raimundo glanced at him. "Did you notice that Keoko had a look of...sadness in her eyes when she fought that Renji guy."
Raimundo nodded. "Yeah. Actually it was right before he stabbed that sword into her stomach."
You flew up into the air, being flung back. Blood came out of the wound on your shoulder. The others watched in shock, as they couldn't do anything. As you were thinking, your eyes held a sadness.
"The bond between the two must've been strong if it made her that sad during the fight." Neji said.
Sasuke nodded, but didn’t speak. I never seen her look like that before... Sasuke thought as he remembered thelook of sadness in your eyes and expression. That look of pain and...sadness in her face and eyes when the two fought...Sasuke looked on ahead as he and the three boys walked. I wonder if she'll be okay.
~::With You::~
You laid on the bed in the hospital room. You had bandages wrapped around your left should and stomach. There were still small scratches, but not really noticeable, on your body. The scrape you got on your right shoulder was fully healed, but your stomach and left shoulder still hurt a bit. You didn't have on your regular cloths, instead you had on a dark blue baggy shirt with some black sweatpants. Your normal cloths were cleaned and folded on the desk next to your hospital bed. You looked at them and saw the black and orange sunglasses that rested upon on top.
Your eyes quivered. Renji nii-san....
Renji adjusted the shades on his head, as he watched you train. "C'mon Keoko! I know Kakashi taught you better!"
You looked over at him and pouted. "Hey! I'm doing the best I can!" You yelled at the 13 year old. You were10 and trying to learn how to walk on water properly, even though Kakashi taught you this already, but you were slacking and Kakashi thought you needed more work on it and decided to send Renji to watch you and make sure you did it.
Renji watched you try it again but this time falling half of your body fell into the small river. He sighed and walked over to you, he picked up your small body, well to him, with both hands and placed you on the shore. "Look squirt." Renji said. He held up his right index and middle fingers. "The whole thing is about controlling chakra the right way." He walked on the water and stood perfectly. "Now just try not to send to much chakra or not enough." he urged you to try.
You nodded and tried again. You walked on the surface and saw that you finally did it. "I did it!" you yelled excitedly.
Renji smirked. "Heh, looks like you did."
You started to jump up and down, still on the waters surface. "I did it! I did it! I did it! I did -WHOA! You fell into the rivers water because you lost concentration when you werecheering.
Renji laughed and walked over and took you out of the river, placing you by the shore. "Hahaha! You okay?"
You looked up at him, giggling, and nodded. "Yes nii-san!"
Renji smirked and ruffled your small head with his hand. "Okay, but next time don't get so overconfident like that."
You pouted. "It's not like you get like that!"
Renji took his hand off you. "Yeah but I'm always right when I get like that."
You giggled. Renji always knew how to make you laugh when ever you two trained. And it made you feel...at peace.
"Keoko!"
You looked at the door and saw two people come in. You smiled. The first one was your best friend Shikamaru Nara, you met him when you entered the academy. He is one of your closest friends. The guy's extremely lazy and complains about everythingbut he's still your best friend. Just about two weeks ago you and Shikamaru had become Chunin by Tsunade's order.
The second person was your other friend Choji Akimichi, you met him the time you had met Shikamaru in the academy. Heis your second friend next to Shikamaru. The guy'salways eating somethingbut he's still your friend.
"Hey guys." you said.
"We heard what happened during the mission you had." Choji said, he was amazingly not eating anything at the moment.
"Are you okay?" Shikamaru asked.
You nodded. "Yeah. It's nothing life threatening."
Shikamaru and Choji sighed in relief. "Well at least you made it out alive." Shikamaru said. He looked at your cloths that were folded on the desk. "What happened with your Chunin vest?"
"A nurse told me that when they were cleaning my cloths my vest had a huge hole in the front and had blood on it, so they're gonna give me a new one later." you said.
Shikamaru nodded andgaveyou a kind smile as well as Choji, before Shikamaru was sitting at the end of your bed. He had a basket offruit and he handed it to you.You smiled happily at him.
"Thanks." you said.
Shikamaru smirked. "No problem. It's from me and Choji. We just hope you get better so we can hangout during our free time."
You glanced at Shikamaru and instantly his smirking face flashed into Renji's smirking face instantly but then returned to normal. You eyes grew sad when you saw this.
Shikamaru and Choji raised an eyebrow when they saw your expression.
"Did we do something wrong....?" Shikamaru asked.
You shook your head and smiled, patting them both on the shoulders.
"It's nothing." you said.
Choji smiled as he and Shikamaru headed for the door. "Well, hope you get out of here soon."
Shikamaru smirked. "Yeah, hope you get better."
You nodded, smiling. "Thanks."
The door closed and you were alone again. More memories came flooding in.
"Keoko." a younger, 8 year old, version of you around and saw your father. He entered your room.
"Yes daddy?" You asked.
"I'm heading out to a mission right now so Renji will be taking you to the academy, okay?"
You sighed. "Alright dad." You never really like it when Renji had to take you to he academy, he always made you late because he was either sleeping in his room or taking forever to get ready.
Kakashi smiled and ruffled your hair. "Alright." he opened the door, walking out. "I'll see you and Renji later ok?"
"Kay." you said as Kakashi closed the door behind him. You sighed, you knew that your eleven year old brother would make you late.....again!

"C'mon Renji! We're gonna be late!" you yelled up the stairs. You were ready, changed, combed with yourbook bagready and all. (YOU HAVE THE KIND OF BOOK BAG SASUKE HAS EXCEPT IT IS BLACK WITHA SMALLKONOHA SYMBOLON ONE OF THE CORNERS)
You looked up the stairs and there was no response. You cupped your hands around your mouth and tried again. "RENJI!"
No response.
You scoffed and went upstairs. You turned the corner in the hall and went to his bed room door, which was a door away from yours. You opened the door. "Nii-san c'mon! I'm gonna be late!" You said as you entered the room. You looked around and saw no Renji. "Maybe he's out in the back training." you muttered.
You went outside and looked around the backyard where you would train or play at sometimes. You walked around the yard. "Renji nii-san! C'mon you have to walk me to the academy! Kakashi told you too!"
You stopped under a tree. "Ugh! Where are you Renji!?" Then you suddenly heard snoring from above. You looked up and sweat dropped. There was Renji,laying on the high branch above you, his head was rested against the trunk. His left leg dangled off the branchwhile his right leg was bent up towards himself. His right arm dangled off the branch while his left arm was bent and rested on his chest.
You got an anger mark and picked up a near by rock and threw it at his head, angrily. "Get up you idiot!"
Renji yelled in surprise and pain as the rock hit him square on the top of his head. He waved his arms franticly as he fell out of the tree.

You and Renji were running along the path to the academy, panting, because you did not stop and that you were both running as fast as you can.
"Great!" Renji said sarcastically. "Now your gonna be late to the academy again!"
"Don't you blame this on me!" You yelled. "What the heck were you doing sleeping in a tree!? I was looking all over the house for you!"
You and Renji anime glared at eachother. "I'll do whatever I want to!" Renji said. "It's none of your business where I sleep anyway!"
"Ugh! I should've just left without you!" you yelled at him. "It would've been better for me!"
"Aw just shut it, were almost there anyway! See!?" Renji said, pointing at the academy, that was coming into view, that was ahead.
You and Renji made it to the academy when the late bell rang! You continued running towards the doors of the academy.
"Don't forget you have topick me upafter!" you said.
"Yeah, Yeah!" Renji yelled from the distance. "I know!"
You waved good-bye to him as you ran in the doors, getting ready for the lecture Iruka-sensei was gonna give you for being late.
~::1 year later::~
You were standing outside by a tree,admiring the clouds. It was after school in the academy andit was a Friday. You fiddled with shuriken in your hands as you stared up into the clouds. It had been your third year in the ninja academy and you were not really taking your trainingthatseriously because you knew almost everything they were teaching you in the academy.
You then heard footsteps behind you, but didn't care. But then you felt a foot slam into your rear end. Your eyes became white as you yelled, "EIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" You turned around and faced Renji while you held your bottom in pain. "Hey what was that for!?"
The 12 year old Renji had a bored expression on his face. "All this daydreaming is a waste of time. It's your third year in the academy and you still haven't been taking your training seriously."
You glared at him. "Oh yeah!? Well who're you to-" you stopped when you noticed he had Zabimaru strapped onto his right hip. You put your hands in front of you. "You look like your going somewhere. Are you having training or something today?"
Renji smirked as he adjusted the shades on his head. "Yeah. Kakashi is going to take me to train with the other Jonin. He feels like that I'm ready to train with them now."
You pouted. "Ugh! Why you!? Why's it only you!?" You pointed your left index fingerat himwhile you waved your right fist around in the air. Renji had that 'just because' look on his face as you yelled at him. "Not to mention you should be training with the Chunin's notthe Jonin!"
"What can I say?" Renji said. "They recognize talent when they see it."
You stopped and brought your arms down, still glaring at him. "UGH!" You knew he was saying that he was better then you.
Renji smirked as he waved, walking away to go train. "And just you wait. I'm better than you already." He walked away further as he yelled to you from the distance, with that cocky attitude. "And when your older and graduate from the academy there won't be any comparison between us!"
"Oh yeah!" you yelled. "Well when I get older I'm gonna be able to...!" You then quieted down, mumbling to yourself. "I don't know."
You looked as you were now alone in the backyard. You left and lock the doors to the house and went to go find your age group friends, which are nine like you, Shikamaru and Choji.
-Next Memory-
You stood against a tree in the park. You shivered in fear as you watched the three11 year old boys come closer to you. You were 9 and you were training in the park when these boys started to come up to you and start to bully you. You saw them in the academy with the other older kids. For some reason kids seemed to pick on you because of your black and silver hair (REMEMBER LIKE IN MY ORIGINAL STORY THAT KEOKO USED TO HAVE SILVER AND BLACK HAIR BEFORE IT CHANGED?). Apparently the older kids didn't like anyone who stood outin the academy.
You had some cuts on your face and there was a small gash on your left cheek where it was bleeding slightly. You had tiny tears brimming on the sides of your eyes. The boy in the middle came up to you and pulled his fist back. He them swung it down at you. You closed your eyes and whimpered, waiting for the pain...but it never came.
You slowly opened your eyes and your view was met with black cloth of a persons back. You looked past that and noticed the red hair. "Renji nii-san!" you said as you saw Renji hold the fist of the boy.
Renjihad a serious look on his face as he looked at the boys. "You know..." Renji said, in a mad, low tone. "I really don't like it when someone picks on my little sister like that." The boys tense at Renji's tone and expression. Renji let go of the kids fist, the one that tried to hit you, and caused the kid to stumble back a little. "Now get out of here." Renji said. "And I don'twant to see you guys picking on my sister like that again."
The boys nodded slowly and then they ran off to who knows where. You watched the boys run off and then looked the back of Renji's head as he was also watching the boys run. You quickly wiped the edging tears off of your eyes as you saw Renji turn around towards you. You looked down, your gaze was on the grass beneath your feet. He looked at you and then knelt down to his knee's down to your height, since you were shorter than him. Renji looked at you and smiled softly, you saw his hands go into the pockets of his uniform, (THE SHINIGAMI UNIFORM HE WEARS) and he took out a small bottle.
You watched him twist open the lid and he popped the top off and they was a green kind of ointment inside it. He smeared some of it onto hisright index finger and then started to apply it onto the gash on your left cheek. You winced and slightly let out a grunt of pain.
"C'mon you can hack it." Renji said, as he still had that soft smile. Renji applied a bit more ointment onto the other scratches and he took out a bandage and stuck it ontothe gash of your left cheek. "There we go. All done." Renji said as he stood up, putting the ointmentback into his pocket.
"Thank you, nii-san." You muttered, looking up at him.
"No problem." Renji said. "Just let me know ifsomeone is messing around with you, okay?"
You nodded, " 'Kay."
Renji smiled as he began to walk. "C'mon. It's time to be heading home."
You quickly nodded. "O-okay." you caught up to him as the twoof you began to walk back home.
You sighed as tears brimmed your eyes. Renji nii-san...why? Why did you attack me and only me? What was your purpose?
~::With Sasuke::~
Sasuke was walking along in the village. He was thinking about how you were doing in the hospital. The last time he saw you, you were unconscious and hurt, but he wanted to see how you were recovering. I'll go visit her right now. Take her some get well flowers or something.Sasuke thought. Just to check on how she's doing.
But what Sasuke was really thinking deep down in his heart was that he just wanted to have an excuse to see you. The truth was, even Sasuke didn't want to admit it sometimes, he had kind of a crush on you since he saw you at the ninja academy. Though for him he found it really awkward for him to be crushing on his sensei's own daughter.
Sasuke sighed and made his way down the street to the Yamanaka flower shop. Slowly he opened the door only to begreeted by Ino. He growled and tried to make this shop as short as possible, he never liked being around his fan-girls. Ino looked at Sasuke and got back behind the counter, watching him contently. Finally she spoke.
"So your going to go see Keoko at the hospital too?" she asked.
Sasuke nodded, not muttering a word.
"Naruto came in here and bought some red ones of these for Keoko…I’m supposing that’s where your going to. Everyone in the rookie 9 heard about what happened to her from the others. It was really...surprising."
Sasukejust grunted. He searched around the store and finally stopped upon a bunch of pretty,purple, crème, and lilac lilies. He picked outtwo of each of the three colorsand walked over to the counter, setting them down. Ino smiled with sadness and happiness.
Sasuke kept his emotionless look as he handed Inoten dollars before walking out of the flower shop. He slowly made his way to the hospital asking the nurse which room you were in.The young nursepointed straight down the hall to room 201. Sasuke thanked the nurse before drifting down the hall and knocking the door of 201.
