“oh my gosh now I remember you, from when we were kids” - Me
“yeah I was hoping you would remember, umm do you remember that necklace your mom gave you before she passed” - Caleb
“you mean this one?” - Me
You pulled a necklace out from behind your coat, forgot it got a little chili.
“yes that one exactly” - Caleb
“what about it?” - Me
“I just needed to know of you still had it” - Caleb
“wait I don’t understand” - Me
“you don’t need to I will see you soon, goodbye” - Caleb
“bye” - Me
I was so happy when I arrived home. I just wanted a cup of tea. I am addicted to tea. And after a long night it’s the perfect thing to help me sleep. Just like usual I drank my tea and went to bed but I dreamt of something a little different than my usual it wasn’t scary or sad it was indescribable I wasn’t sure how to feel
::: I was sitting by lake Tahoe under the moonlight starring at my reflection crying. I couldn’t figure out why I was crying. I got up to walk away when I ran into something hard. I assumed it to be a body considering they caught me before I hit the ground. I looked up into a pair of gray eyes
“sorry I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking” - Me
“its okay”
“but thank you for catching me” - Me
“why were you crying?”
“I don’t know, I guess I just needed to cry” - Me
“I see well mind if I walk you to your cabin?”
“I don’t have a cabin here but you can walk me to my car, im sorry whats your name?” - Me
“Kory and yours?” - Kory
“Caylee” - Me
“im sorry could you tell me what time it is?” - Kory
“12:30” - Me
“I’m sorry but I have to go but I will see you soon hopefully at the club”:::
I awoke at the last part. The club weird how that came about. But dreams are dreams its not like they’re real right. Right!!! The week went as usual school and work and finally Friday came. The day ive been waiting for its my birthday and I was going to the club I got my hair done I now had red and purple streaked through my wavy black hair and my outfit was amazing, black pinstriped short shorts, and a red and black corset. And of course a pair of black jimmy choos. All my friends were there and since my uncle owned the club I asked him if we can turn it into a foam party. And can you believe it he said okay I don’t know why but all my family has been so nice to me since the night I ran into caleb. Treating me as if im truly a princess but whatever im not complaining. Its kinda nice. The club was amazing my uncle went all out I was awe when I stepped in the door we had foam machines everywhere and everything was already going I saw some friends they wished me a happy birthday and told me that they brought presents but my uncle put then in his office and they will be opened later. Granted this was my party I said my uncle can still let other people come meaning strangers haha I didn’t feel like being rude plus the more people the merrier right. Right!!! I was grinding and moving when I spotted him. I thought I was imagining seeing him until he looked my way. I knew the way I was feeling was real so he had to be. I walked off the dance floor and was about to talk to him when my uncle got in the way.
“Caylee lets go open your presents right now theres something I have to do later so get on the mic and tell them to go to my office” - Uncle
“yes uncle Dray” - Me
So I walked up to the dj and he let me on
“hey party people sorry for the interruption, im just on here to ask all my friends to go to my uncles office”
And i left it at that the dj continued turning the tables and my friends went into my uncles office. When everything was unwrapped i was extremely happy with all my gifts. But i was actually feeling a little sick to my stomach. I whispered to my uncle “can you take me to the house im not feeling to well uncle” - Me
“of course honey whatever you say” - uncle dray
With that the bouncers escorted everyone out and i went back up to the dj and made one last announcement. Even if im feeling sick, I still had to give thanks.
“hey everyone sorry again but if you hadn’t noticed tonight was a birthday party for me im finally 18, thank you all for attending I greatly appreciate it, but im leaving but party harder for me please and thanks”
After my little appreciation speech I got into my uncles truck and was on my way home, So I thought.
“uncle this isn’t the way to my house” - me
“yes it is honey” - uncle
“no uncle my house is actually the opposite direction” - me
“don’t argue please Caylee!” - uncle
“but uncle im not understanding” - me
“Caylee everything will be explained in the morning just go to sleep now” - uncle
As if on cue my eyes shut and my brain shut down and I fell asleep.
I awoke the next day I looked at the clock hmm only 10 wow. I went to open my window and saw the night sky. Now I was confused. I looked around I looked out my window. Oh wow this is a little different I was 3 stories up instead of 2 and there was a beautiful garden at the bottom
“so I see you like the view?”
I turned around and say my mom, I was shocked
“m-mom?” - me
“yes honey its really me” - mom
“no it cant be you, you died when I was little that’s what dad had said” - me
“your father, oh my than man how I missed him, but what he said wasn’t true honey if you want you can ask him yourself” - mom
“wait dad is here?” - me
“yes silly girl why wouldn’t he be here?” - mom
“this is all to confusing” - me
“its about to get a lot more confusing” - mom
“huh how?” - me
“well you know how your stomach was hurting you last night its about to get a little more painful” - mom
“how do you….”
I wasn’t able to finish what I was saying the pain from last night came rushing through me I doubled over my mom caught me and put me in my bed. I felt like my body was going to die I swear. My father came into the room.
“daddy”
“shhh honey im here this will all be over in a few minutes”
A few minutes later the pain was gone and I was really really thirsty.
As I sat up all I could say was
“thirsty”
And just like that he appeared with this red liquid. Its him thank god I wasn’t going crazy
