jasmined. (chapter one)

"We're here" Jane sighed. I looked around and absorbed the crisp air of Paris. The dark that surrounded us.Josh's fingers intertwined with mine. I turned my head slightly and smiled at him. His face was illuminated by the headlights of the car driving towards us.

Twovehicles pulled up in front of us, forming an almost perfect line. Josh gave me a peck on the cheek before helping the other boys place our suitcases in the trunks. Anna, Lauren, Jane and I took our seats in the first car and off we were. I clicked away with my camera at the beautiful sights. I was in awe, the way the lights shone at night.

"So girls, have you made your sleeping arrangements?" mom asked as I tucked my camera into my purse. "Um, well there's two beds in each room.." I began. "So I figured it would be Lauren and Jimmy in room 203, Mom and Jerry in 204, Kyle and Sam in 205, Anna and Ben in 206 and Josh and me in 207, is that okay?" I asked. I wasn't at all concerned with their responses. I knew it would be fine. My mind wandered to the thought of Josh and I sleeping in the same room. Of course there were two beds but, it was still an exhilerating thought. I snapped back into the conversations as they all agreed with my plan.

Our car met up with the boys' car at the hotel. The excitement was too much to be contained by anyone. The second we entered the hotel, we checked in and had our luggage brought to our room. Everyone bopped around jubilantly.

Mom and Jerry went out for a romantic dinner leaving the rest of us to wander aimlessly.Everyone ended up gathering in me and Josh's room to work out plans. Jimmy's stomach grumbled. "I'm starving" he said, a faked frown on his face. Lauren rubbed his stomach and tried tocomfort him. Kyle made gagging noises which made the rest of us snicker. Lauren and Jimmy were just sorevoltingly adorable together. "Well, there's a restaurant in the hotel we could go to" Sam proposed. "I heard there's a teens' club too,'J'adorela Danse,'it's supposed to be pretty fun" Anna added. I nodded my head. "Well then it's settled, I suppose. We'll eat and then go to the teen club" I said, stating our plans.

"So we'll all get ready and meet there inhalf an hour, that cool?" Josh asked. Everyone nodded as they turned to exit our room. The door squeaked quietly as it closed. I collapsed on the bed and sighed. Josh smiled down at me and straddled over my body. I felt uncomfortable being under him but I smiled up at him. "We should hurry" I said as I lifted my hand to his chest. He stood up and allowed me to be free.

I rummaged through the contents of my suitcase looking for something elegant yet cute to where to dinner and the club. I decided on an orange tube dress with white flower imprints on the top. I headed towards the bathroom to change, giving Josh the room to change into a different outfit, too. I released my hair from a ponytail, allowing it to fall on my back lightly. Then I proceeded to put on some flavored lip gloss, in case tonight's dessert would be Josh's lips. I smiled at the thought and continued to do my make-up. When I was satisfied with the natural and prettier version of me that I saw in the bathroom mirror, I knocked on the bathroom door. "Josh, can I come out?" I asked. "Yeah" he called from the other side of the door.

I opened the door slowly. My mouth hung slightly open at what I saw. Josh was wearing his jeans a bit low, his dark blue boxers peaking out just a bit and his shirt laying on the bed. I had only seen Josh shirtless once, but it was too dark for me to see how beautiful of a sight it was. "Hey" he said grinning. I snapped my mouth shut and smiled. He slipped a dark blue lacoste polo over his head covering the bare skin. "I'm ready" he said as he took my hand and led me to the door. I snatched my purse quickly as he rushed me out.

We turned down the hallway and went to the elevator. Two girls stood in the corner of the elevator as we entered. I bit down hard on my lip as they giggled and eyed my boyfriend. But, I couldn't blame them. Josh was incredibly gorgeous. Something about him drew females in. I couldn't quite place it. Was it the mischevious look in his eye? Or possibly his perfectly straight, egg shell white teeth. But if his looks weren't enough, his personality would have you head over heels in a moment. I admired him as he held my hand, never taking his eyes off the closed elevator doors.

There was a ding, and then he shot out of the open doors, pulling me along. The two girls stayed behind as the doors shut, hiding them from us. Joshsighed and shook his head. "What?" I asked with feign curiousity. He looked over at me for a few moments. As if he were memorizing each detail of my face. "Don't worry about it" he said as he turned away.He was so indifferent to the attention of other girls. His humbleness amazed me.

When we reached the resteraunt, Appétit, Ben, Anna, Kyle, Lauren, Sam and Jimmy were already waiting for us. Jimmy had already began stuffing his face. Kyle and Sam were high-fiving, probably over something stupid. Anna's expression was of disgust as she watched Jimmy choke down a huge piece of meat. Lauren just watched admiringly as Ben laughed at them both. I sighed happily. This was my family.

Dinner was spent laughing about old times and Ben telling us about life in Alabama. We had all decided we would go visit him this Summer. He had even met a new girl, Marisa. She sounded nice, and Ben deserved someone great. It was good to know things were working out for him. Sam is still dating Collette, but there are no bitter feelings what-so-ever.. I think.

"Alright! Let's go to the club!" Kyle said excitedly. Jimmy groaned. "I don't think I'm ready for that.. I think I'm gonna go sleep off this meal.." he said looking like he was about to puke. "Aww, I'll come with you sweetie" Lauren said as she rubbed his back. Jimmy leaned in and kissed her sweetly on the lips. I had to look away. I was never good with intense moments, they made me feel awkward. "Yuck" Ben joked. Anna giggled.

Josh snaked his arm around my waist and kissed the side of my neck. I felt a little tingly and I let out a little giggle. "Oh great, not you two!" Kyle groaned. Josh chuckled into my shoulder. I lifted his head up and rubbed our noses together, to aggrivate Kyle. Jimmy laughed. "Okay, well, we'll see you guys later.. or at the wedding" Lauren said as she led Jimmy out. He gave us a quick wave and held onto his stomach.

When we entered the club it was packed. The fluorescent lights shining brightly and techno music blaring. Anna took my hand and led me to the dance floor. I giggled as she created random dances to amuse me. After about half an hour I decided it was time to find my boyfriend. I swerved through the crouds and saw him. He smiled when he saw me. I smiled even wider as I walked towards him.
Just then the two girls from the elevator appeared. I watched in horror as they grinded up on Josh who looked uncomfortable. When I reached him I raised my eyebrows and stared at him angrily. "I have to go" he told the girls, as he looked at me apologetically. The girl with light brown curls turned to look at me. She smirked and flipped her hair. "Loosen up" she said, amused by my expression. I snarled. "Whatever" I said and stormed off angrily. I glanced back and saw Josh trying to sneak away.

"Don't worry about it Rose" I heard Anna's voice behind me. I turned to see her. I gasped in surprise. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, but this place is crazy! I'm heading out, you wanna come?" she asked with a happy smile. I smiled and nodded my head. As we exited the club, it was like a whole new world. The music was impossible to hear outside of the light brown doors. Anna sighed in relief. "Let's go outside!" she said as she tugged on my arm. I followed her reluctantly. She led me to a bench to get a better look at the beautiful city.

Two motorcycles rolled by us. I squinted to get a better look at the two boys riding them. They looked similar in ways, same hazel eyes and nose. But one had blonde hair and the other had a shade of brown. "Oooooh, cute boys" Anna said. I giggled. "Cute french boys" I pointed out.

The boy with brown hair winked at me as he turned around and sped back towards Anna and I. I smiled nervously. "Oh my God! They're coming this way!" she said excitedly. "I don't think that's a good thing Anna.." I said hesitantly. "Oh c'mon, live a little Rose, hanging out with boys doesn't mean you're cheating on Josh, and he looked like he was having fun, so you might as well too" she preached to me. "We're in Paris, Rose!" she exclaimed. I nodded understanding her point. "It's not every day that you get to hang out with cute french boys, in PARIS, I will not let you miss out on this" she informed me. I nodded as the two boys pulled up in front of us.

"I'm Adrien" the boy with brown hair said as held out his hand for me to shake. I smiled politely and shook it. "This is my brother, Julien" he said pointing to the boy with blonde hair, who was staring at Anna, grinning. His accent was hard to miss, but made him even more appealing. Of course I had no feelings for him at all, no matter how beautiful or charming he was, Josh was all I needed, and I was sure of that.

"I'm Rose" I began. "And this is my best friend, Ann Marie, but you can call her Anna" I explained. "It's nice to meet you" he replied politely. "You're American aren't you?" Julien asked. Anna and I nodded our heads. "Would you ladies like a tour of Paris?" Adrien asked as he outstretched his arm towards the city, illuminated by streetlights. His offer was tempting. I turned to Anna to discuss this, but she had already answered. "We would love that" she said. Oh God, was all I could think.
