There were full egg shells in your cakes

"I don't remember ever, having an amazing breakfast like this. I feel like my stomach's gonna explode," Joe said, pushing away his plate.

"When did you learn how to cook like that?" Nick asked. "Last time I remember, there were full egg shells in your cakes."

Everyone laughed. Blake's smile was beautiful.

"Well, I had to get a job somewhere and Gene took me in and told me he'd train me," Blake said. "Oh excuse me guys, there's an order."

She went over to another table who had raised their hand to get Blake's attention. She quickly took their orders, smiled and walked back.

"Time to make more food," Blake told us, getting in the counter.

"We gotta go," Nick said. And it was true, we did. We had a photoshoot thing.

"Thanks for coming here guys, it was great to see you again," Blake said, smiling at all of us. Her smile at me lingered a little longer.

"It was great seeing you too," Joe said. "Give me a hug."

Blake got out of the counter and I realized how tall she was. She wasn't quite as tall as us but pretty close. Joe and Blake hugged and Joe didn't let go.

"Uh, Joe?" Blake said as Joe kept his grip on her. "I gotta go work."

"Right," Joe said. "Just couldn't believe we saw you again."

"Same here, so thanks for seeing me guys. I hope we see each other again," Blake said going back into the counter. Before going back into the kitchen, she blew us all a kiss and winked.

The three of us walked outside to the car.

"Dude! Blake is hotter than the last time we saw her!" Joe said when I pulled out of the parking lot.

"She is prettier," Nick said. He hates it when people use 'hot'. It's kind of degrading.

"I admit, she's more beautiful than the 16 year old we saw before, but her personality hasn't changed a bit," I said to them.

---

"Blake where are you going?"

That day, the four of us, Joe, Nick, myself and Blake were walking in the park.

"Hold on guys," she said to us. She walked over to a little kid who fell.

"You okay sweetie?" she said to the little boy. He smiled and Blake helped him up. She gave him a hug and he went off on his bike. Blake came over to us and started to walk again.

"Are you always that nice?" Joe asked her.

"It's called manners Joseph," Blake joked. "Not that you'd know what it was."

We all laughed and Joe playfully hit Blake's shoulder.

---

"Kev? Kevin?"

I broke off from my daydreaming, about Blake, and went over to the photoshoot. It was just a simple photoshoot, lots of clicking and posing. When it was all over, the three of us got back into our regular clothes and piled into my car. The drive was a long one and by the time we got home, it was 7 o'clock.

I walked up to my room and laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking. Then I heard something hit my window. I quickly sat up. Then a rock hit my window again. I walked over to my window, opened it up to the balcony and a rock hit me in the face.

"Ow," I mumbled, rubbing my forehead.

"Oh, I'm sorry," a familiar voice said. I looked down from the balcony and saw Blake smiling up. "I wanna see if I remember this."

Then she immedietly scaled the side of the house, like she had done so many times before when we were here. Blake did it pretty well, she was at the balcony now. Then she slipped and I grabbed her hand. One of her hands were still holding onto the rail and I had the other one.

"Nice reflexes Kev," Blake said. We both pulled her up and she climbed over the raill.

"Haven't done that in a while," Blake said, wiping off her shirt. Her hair wasn't in a bun anymore. It was wavy and almost to her waist. Beautiful.

"Last time you did that, you didn't slip," I joked to her as we climbed into my room.

"Oh, well excuse me," Blake sad sarcastically. "I haven't done that in four years, thank you very much. Considering I've gotten bigger, I think I did pretty well."

"Fine, fine, fine, you win," I said, giving up. I sat down on my bed and she sat across from me. Like we had done countless times.

"Don't I always win?" Blake said. "You always let me win."

"Do not."

"Do too."

"Not."

"Too."

Then there was a silence and we both laughed at the same time, uncontrollably. We both fell back on my bed and clutched our stomachs. Again, like old times.

"Woah, what's going on in there Kev?" Someone opened my bedroom door and Joe stood there, watching Blake and me laughing our heads off.

"Scaled the side didn't you Blake?" Joe asked.

"Of course," Blake said, getting back to normal.

"She slipped too," I told Joe.

"Whatever Kevin," she said, hitting my shoulder. "Where's curly? Let's make this a party."

Joe went to get Nick and we all sat at my bed, talking. We found out alot that's happened to Blake the last four years and we told her about all of our touring stuff.

"So Kev, you actually became a rock star like you told me," Blake said. She was laying down, her head on my pillow.

"I guess so, what about you? Still wanna try to be a singer?" I asked her.

"Not a chance, I sing like crap," she said and we all started to laugh.

"Come on Blake, I bet you sing great," I said. She looked at me and stared for a few seconds. "What?"

"Nothing," she said, blinking. "I just had total deja vu. You said that to me when we were like, what, 12?"

"Oh yeah," I said, remembering that moment.

"Hey, I'm gonna go to sleep," Nick said. I looked at the clock, it was 1 in the morning already.

"Same here," Joe said. "We'll see you tomorrow Blake."

"Night guys," she said as they left the room. She stayed still on my bed.

"Sleeping over like usual?" I asked her.

"Duh," Blake said. "Wait, I don't have pajamas."

"Oh, wait, I think I have something," I said, getting off of the bed. I went to my drawer and dug through to the bottom and pulled out Blake's old pajamas that she always kept here.

"No way!" Blake said, taking the pajama pants. "You still have this?!"

"Yeah, it's not like I was gonna throw that away."

Blake jumped off of the bed and into my bathroom. I laid down on my bed, waiting.

"Kev, I think I grew," Blake said. She was out of the bathroom and the pants only went to her ankles.

"Quite the possibility," I told her. She jumped up in my bed and pulled the covers over her.
"I'm glad your back Kev," she said and smiled.

"I'm glad too," I smiled at her. She rolled over and her hair was facing me. I turned the other way and fell asleep.
