Ryan's POV I knew Brendon liked Jenni. And I had to let her go, because I could tell that she had feelings for him too. She wasn't at home, so I called her cellphone. "Hello" ("Hey Ryan") "Hey, what you up to?" ("Helping Bren with his homework, you know he always needs it") I laughed, I knew that for a fact. "Well, I have something I have to tell you. I wanna break up" ("What?") "I can tell you have feelings for Brendon" ("Ryan, I don't know what to say") "Just tell me we'll be friends" ("Of course we will, can't get rid of me that easily") "Okay, well I will see you at practice then" ("See ya Ry-ry") But even as I hung up I couldn't help but wonder if I made the right decision. I mean, I'm in love with her. But she loves someone else. So it was my duty to let her go. But what if I was wrong? I called my sister, she knew how to make me feel better. "Hello" ("Hello?) "Hey, its Ryan!" ("Are you okay Ry?") "No, thats why I called you" ("Whats up Ryan?") "I just broke up with Jenni, but I'm wondering if that was such a smart idea" ("Well, what were the reasons you did it in the first place?") "Because she loves Brendon, I can tell" ("But she loves you!") "I thought she did, but you should see those two together Maria" ("I'm sorry Ryan, you can do so much better though") "Maybe your right" ("Just be a good friend to her Ryan, I'm sure she still likes you") "Thanks Maria" ("Anytime Ry-Ro") "Bye, I love you" ("Love you too, bye") I hung up and went over to Brendon's house. I was about to knock when I heard laughing coming from the kitchen. I peaked in. Brendon and Jenni were having a food fight. They both had ice cream all over there faces, and were laughing like idiots. I got out of there while I could. I needed to do something to vent. My best songs come out of times like this. I went home again and started writing.
