She could tell I was lying. And I didn't know why I was lying. I liked this girl after only knowing her for a day. We walked to every class together. In the class that Ryan had with us, they were acting all cute and cuddly. It really pissed me off. I walked off and sat a empty table (We were in art class). Soon after Jenni joined me.

"What the hell is with you?" She said.

"Look, I don't think I can be friends with you" I said to her.

"What?" She looked really hurt. But I knew I had to.

"I really don't think our friendship is gonna work out" I said.

"I think you're right" She walked off and sat next to Ryan. They exchanged a few serious words and were back to acting all cute and cuddly. She didn't talk to me at lunch, or afterschool. I wasn't surprised. But I also wanted her to talk to me anyway. I know I shouldn't have expected her to. I've only known her a day after all. I guess it turns out she's a bitch after all. But then again so am I. Spencer noticed there was something wrong with me. He asked me about it at Ryan's house.

"Dude, somethings definetly eating you" He said.

"Yeah, I know. But I don't wanna talk about it" I told him.

"Don't let the girl get to you" He said to me. I just shook my head. We practiced one of our newer songs.

"You guys are fucking awesome" Jenni exclaimed. She and Ryan hugged and I looked away. We all went upstairs to the lounge after practice. I walked past Jenni, we caught eachothers eyes.

"Dick" She muttered, then walked away.

"Bitch" I muttered as I wallked into the kitchen. The phone rang and Ryan picked it up. He noticed the tension between me and Jenni.

"Hello!?"

("Hello to you too, what ya doing bro?")

"Hanging out with the guys and Jenni"

("Ooooh, has Brendon made the usual moves?")

"No, they actually hate eachother"

("Really? Cause before she left she was saying that she thought Brendon was hot")

"Not anymore, there not talking except to insult eachother"

"Yeah I do, and were going on a date this friday"

"Okay, no need to yell" Ryan called Jenni onto the phone. I continued listening to her side of the conversation.

"Hey Maria" God she had a beautiful voice.

("Hey, are you really dating my brother?")

"Yeah, he asked to go out with him on friday"

"Okay" She laughed for some reason and then came to find me.

"Maria wants to talk to you" She said coldly.

"Thanks" I replied, in just the same tone.

"Because she started by going out with Ryan"

"Bye" I hung up and went back into the lounge. I couldn't tell Jenni while her lips were glued to Ryan's. She was totally in love with him. She would never fall for me.
