Konoha Middle School: A Tale of Princesses Info

In Gaara, Kankuro, and Sasuke's Dorm Room
The (Naruto)guys were talking about the new girls. "Hey I heard the girl talking when I passed their dorm room. They said they were going to a lake tonight." Kiba said suggestively. Kankuro smirked, "Looks like we have something to do tonight." Everyone looked at Gaara. "Well, are you going Gaara?" Naruto asked. "No." Gaara said in a monotone voice. "Oh, come on, bro. It'll be fun." Kankuro pleaded. "Explain how it will be fun, Kankuro." Kankuro sighed. "Fine you don't have to go." As the guys were talking, Nick, Kevin, and Matt were listening(sp?) in. "Oh God." Kevin said. "SH-"Nick began. Matt quickly covered Nick's mouth and Kevin dragged him around the corner of the hallway. "Shut up, Tsubasa." Matt hissed (Note: Kevin, Nick, and Matt don't go by their real names that often). "Sorry." Nick whispered. Sasuke looked up. "Did you guys hear something at the door." Neji looked at the door with his Byakugan(sp?). No one's there." Then they started talking about how they were going to sneak out of the dorm they were all going to be in that night.
7 pm
The mermaid princesses and I were waiting quietly by the school's back gate for Sage and Sam. "I wonder were they could be." Haley said. Just then we saw the Sage and Sam walking up to them. Sam ran up to the girls and gave them all a huge hug. "Hey Sam." Lauren smiled. "Are you all ready to go?" Sage asked. We all nodded. Caroline led the way to the lake. When we got there Nicole and Caroline instantly jumped into the water. When they popped their heads above the water, they were in their mermaid forms. Sam followed in suit. I took a bright green shell out of my jeans pocket and placed it carefully near the waters edge. Everyone else besides Sage was in the water, so I jumped in after them. When I came up, Sage was still sitting on the edge of the water with her fin in the water. "Come on Sage, get in the water." Cara said. "Girls, it's been a long day and I'm tirered(sp?)." she said. Cara and I smirked. We slowly swam over to her, grabbed her arms, and pulled her into the water. The (Naruto)guys had just arrived under a group of trees. They watched them swim but never saw anything but their shoulders. In another group of trees, Gaara was watching the girls swim also. Then he saw just below the water a green fin. The same fin of the seven year old mermaid he met when he was seven. Gaara started to stutter. "Uh, uh, uh. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He ran as fast as his legs could take him back to his dorm. Everyone turned around but saw nothing so they went back to what they were doing previously(sp?). Then Sam spoke up. "Can we sing something, like something we all know?" she asked. The rest of us nodded.

As we were singing the boys listened carefully to the song. Just as we finished singing, Sam went to look at something that was behind a large rock. When Sam disappeared from sight, Naruto sneezed so hard that all of the boys fell out of the tree they were sitting in. We whirled around and saw the boys there in a pile. We gasped and dove under the water to swim upriver. Sam came out from behind the rock. "Hey were did they go?" she said. Then she saw Naruto and the other guys and gasped. She dove under the water and followed us upriver. But Sam never managed to keep her fin hidden. Lee was aw struck. "I must be hallucinating, let's go back to Kankuro's dorm." The other boys nodded and walked back to Kankuro and Sasuke's dorm. The mermaid princesses and I went out of the water and walked Sam to the Natalie and Tess's hotel and then Sage walked the rest of us back to our dorm. The guys walked in Kankuro, Gaara, and Sasuke's dorm to Gaara sitting on his bed listening to his iPod. Naruto looked at him. "Hey Gaara what are you listening to?" Gaara looked up at Naruto and the others. "Oh, uh, N-nothing." Just then Naruto grabbed the iPod and put it in the small stereo system that was in their dorm. The music came on and Naruto looked at the song name. "Legend of the Mermaid. What the?" They all listened as Gaara pulled out the green shell. The song ended and Kankuro looked at Gaara. "You still like that mermaid you met when you were seven?" he asked. "Uh, uh, n-no." Gaara stuttered while blushing. "HA! You do still like the mermaid! You're blushing!" Gaara sighed and took back his iPod. "Fine. Yes I do still like her. Happy?" Gaara said while climbing back onto his bed. "Well, I'd say that dark blue one was pretty hot, eh, Akamaru?" Kiba asked his loyal dog. The little dog barked twice. "Yes well the purple one was beautiful!" Lee exclaimed. Sasuke blushed(OMFG!!). "Yeah, well, the yellow one was cuter." he said quietly. Kankuro smirked. "Oh, Gaara, the green mermaid you met was there as well ya know." Gaara blushed. "Shut up." he said almost inaudible to hear. "Well, let's get some rest for school tomorrow." Neji said. The others nodded and slowly fell asleep. Gaara had to stay awake though(cause of his demon). He sat there and thought. I wonder if she would remember me if she saw me. Would she be afraid like most of the people in Suna? When we were kids, she didn't seem scared. She seemed like she liked me almost. Maybe I could go and she her by the lake one of these nights. Then Gaara turned on his iPod and listened to the green mermaid singing Legend of the Mermaid.
