Konoha Middle School: A Tale of Princesses Info

Lucy, Haley, Cara, Nicole, Caroline, Sage, Kevin, Matt, Nick, and I were in a limo, yes a limo, on our way to a boarding school called Konoha Middle School. Sage was going to be the language teacher because she knows so many languages. Kevin, Nick, and Matt had been with most of the students since elementary school. "Ok so we were thinking to keep the guys away from you girls, that Matt, Nick, and I would pose as your boyfriends. I'll be with Lauren, Matt with be with Lucy, and Nick will be with Haley. And for the rest of you, besides Sage, we'll look after you girls." Kevin stated the plan to us. "Do I have to be your girlfriend, Kevin?" I asked. He turned to look at me. "Look, Lauren, I know you don't want to and you think it will ruin our friendship, but trust me I'm doing this for you. Besides the teachers, we're the only other ones that know you guys are mermaids." Kevin said sympathetically. Then he smirked and continued, "Unless you want one of these perverts to date you." I thought about that for a moment before I spoke. "Fine, I'll play along, Kevin. But if you try anything, I swear you will not wake up in the morning.” I stated coolly. The limo then stopped in from of a pair of iron gates. We all piled(sp?) out of the limo, grabbed our belongings, and paid the driver. As we walked to the gates, they opened. We walked across the school yard. There were groups of kids everywhere you looked. "Alright, you guys I have to go and meet with the other teachers. Now when you go in one of the teachers will be giving out dorm room numbers, keys, and schedules. So I'll see you later ok." My fellow mermaid princesses and I nodded as Sage walked to the one building. "Ino, stop. Uh, how troublesome." Some girl marched up to Kevin. "So Kevin this is your new bitch of a girlfriend. Why is she wearing boy clothes, hm. And who are all of these other girls your other girlfriends." Kevin sighed, "Look, Ino. I didn't mean to break your heart or anything, I just didn't think it would work out between us. And this girl isn't a bitch. She's kind, sweet, calm, cool, and fun. And yes she is my girlfriend." Kevin stated proudly. I sighed. "Hi, I'm Lauren, nice to meet you." I held out my hand for her to shake. "Well, I guess it would be best if Kevin had someone to cool him off. He can be so hot-headed." Ino firmly shook my hand. "I'm Ino Yamanaka by the way, are you girls new here?" Ino asked. "Yup," Cara started proudly. Then two boys came up after Ino. "Oh, these are some of my friends, this is Shikamaru Nara and the chubby one next to him is Choji Akimichi." Choji smiled brightly. "Nice to meet you girls. So Kevin who's your new girlfriend?" Shikamaru sighed, "Please tell me she's not as troublesome as Temari, is she?" Shikamaru asked. Kevin chuckled lightly. "Not a bit. Actually, Matt, Nick, and I have known these girls since we were, what, seven." We nodded. "Shika, what's up? Is something wrong?" a blond girl asked as she walked up to the group of us along with two other boys with her. One had a black shirt on and the other boy had bright red hair. "No Temari, nothing's wrong. This is my girlfriend Temari and her younger brothers Kankuro and Gaara." Temari came up to me and shook my hand. "Nice to meet you..." I smiled. "The names Lauren." Kankuro smirked. "Hey cuties, the names Kankuro." Kevin shook his head. "Kankuro, did you ever break up with Sakura yet." "Yup." Kankuro beamed. "About time you did." Nick said under his breath. "Oh, come on we have to introduce you girls to the rest of the people we know." Kevin, Matt, and Nick said in unison. Kevin, Matt, and Nick started to drag us away. As they did so we had to pull our bags along with us. As we were being dragged away, I managed to turn around and found Gaara starring at me. I turned back around when I couldn't see Gaara anymore. Gaara then pulled a shell out of his pocket. He gazed at the shell that when he was younger, a mermaid about the same age as him gave him. The shell was a bright shade of green. Her final words to him rang through his head. Maybe we'll meet again someday. Please, never forget me Gaara. Gaara tried to remember what her name was. Then it hit him. Now her name was ringing in his head. Why are you sitting all alone? Oh, my name's Lauren by the way. Then he put the shell in his pocket and walked after his siblings.
