“She really is cute when she sleeps,” a voice said as Mako slowly opens her eyes. She quickly jumped open startle and knock someone of the bed. “Are you guys trying to kill me,” she said holding a hand to her heart as if it would stop beating so fast. The three boys who were just staring down at her began to laugh. “Ouch. That hurt Mako,” Goku said rubbing the back his head which him just landed on. “So…what do you guys want,” Mako asked sounding exhausted. “Well we were wondering why you and Sanzo switch rooms,” Hakkai asked as he walked over to Goku’s bed and sat down. “Ah well-,” Mako began but someone finish for her “We switched because of Goku’s damn snoring.” Everyone looked anyway from each and look towards the door to see Sanzo standing there. “Oh Sanzo…come on my snoring isn’t that bad,” Goku said innocently as Sanzo rolled his eyes. Before anyone could say anything more Goku’s tummy growl which is very common. “Let’s eat,” Goku yelled pumping his fist in the air and they all agreed making Goku rushing in getting dressed and ran out the down before anyone had a chance to move. Mako giggled as she got up out of bed and made her way out the door. “I guess I will meet you guys down there okay,” Mako said as she walked out and headed straight for the room she was suppose to sleep in. Mako walked in the room which still smelled of Sanzo’s sweetness causing her to smile. She quickly got dress and grabbed her stuff meeting the boys in a restaurant across the street. “Hey that was mine, you pervy cappa,” Goku yelled as Mako walked in seeing the scene of him and Gojyo fighting over the food. She just rolled her eyes and sighed almost like she was defeated or something but then she pulled herself together and walked over to the bickering duo. When Mako reached the table she noticed the meat bun in between the two of them as they glared at each other. “I called it first you damn stupid monkey,” Gojyo snapped back “I don’t call me that you damn water sprite,” Goku defended himself he always hated that nickname. “WOULD YOU TWO SHUT THE HELL UP OR I WILL KILL YOU,” Sanzo yelled making the rest of the restaurant go quiet. Mako was still standing watching everything until she decided who was going to eat the meat bun. “Okay I have decided who won this round,” Mako stated as she walked to the other side of the table and was standing in front of the meat bun and in between two very confused looking boys. “So who do you think should have it Miss. Mako,” Hakkai asked causally staring at Mako. “Umm…” Mako began as she stared back and forth between Goku and Gojyo. Mako acted like she was going to point at someone but instead she grabbed the meat bun and began to eat it. “Ah…come on Mako that is so not fair,” Goku whined as Mako munched on the bun smiling at him. “Actually it is,” Mako said between bites. “How?” Gojyo asked staring up at the sneaky girl in front of him. “Well…I haven’t had anything to eat yet so this is mine,” Mako said innocently and then finished her lovely treat as she grabbed a chair and pulled it to the table to sit down. “That is true Miss. Mako hasn’t had anything to eat today but you guys eat pretty all of it,” Hakkai defended Mako as she sat comfortably in her chair with her katana still strapped to her back. “Thank you Hakkai, at least someone-,” Mako began as she looking around her but stopped when she noticed one of them sitting in the corner of the restaurant staring at her with eyes she knew very well respectful, shocked, but still respectful eyes. “Mako, Hello,” Goku said poking Mako out of her dazed with the mysterious man but familiar man. “Oh…sorry,” Mako said as she looked back at her friends who were now staring at the same direction she was. “Miss. Mako what did you see,” Hakkai asked as he scanned that one direction but no one was there. “Oh nothing, don’t worry,” Mako replied as if it was truly nothing but really she didn’t know what to make of this person. ‘What is a person like him doing,’ Mako thought as they stood and left the restaurant. But they soon regretted it when they saw what was waiting for them. Demons. “Give us the scripture,” a demon yelled making Mako rolled her eyes. “What a drag, these guys again,” Mako said as she sigh in disappointment actually. “We were sent here by Lord Kougaiji to take that scripture,” the same demon spoke yet again. “Well, who gives a shit,” Gojyo retorted to the pack of demons in front of they. “Hey guys are all the humans inside,” Mako asked looking back at her friends. “Yes why,” Goku asked like an idiot. “You stupid monkey we don’t want anyone hurt do we,” Gojyo said in a smart-aleck way which pissed off Goku. “I said don’t call me that stupid water sprite,” Goku replied angrily making everyone there stared at them. “And you don’t call me that you douche bag,” Gojyo yelled back this time. “Who are you calling a douche bag you pervy cappa,” Goku snapped back and this continued as the demons stared at us confusion about the whole situation. “Oh we’re sorry we interrupted you little battle with those two arguing didn’t we,” Hakkai said sarcastically with that big cheesy smile on his face. That’s when Hakkai ran out blasting his chi at them killing three at once while Sanzo shot his five rounds and then reloading, then Goku jumped out of nowhere calling nyoibou striking two of them as well, and of course Gojyo called jakujou killing seven of them instantly leaving five left. Mako’s turn now, she ran fast pass her comrades and never drawing her weapon, she then stopped in her tracks once again in the middle of her friends and the enemy. “Mako what are waiting for finish it,” Goku said waiting to see what move she would do this time. The demons began to charge her but she put her hand out in front of signaling them to stop where they were which they did. “You guys are idiots,” Mako said as she slowly moved her hand into a snapping position, “You just stop when your enemies tell you to,” Mako added with a smirk but before they could charge her again she finally snapped her fingers loud enough that it echo through the town everyone watch as a static sound came out of her hand then a bright blue light shot out of her hand and as fast as lightening the demon were in circled buy this electricity then she snapped once again followed by the ear piercing screams from the now dead demons. “Miss. Mako your power ceases to amaze me,” Hakkai said sweetly as they walked up to stand beside her. “Thank you,” was all Mako said as she soon smelt blood. “Goku your hurt,” Mako said as she looked at him. “Nah…I’m alright,” Goku said holding up the barely visible scratch on his arm as he walked out in front of us as we began to exit the town. Suddenly the one from before was in front of Goku staring down at him. The man had black shaggy hair that was no longer than past his neck and he had the sunglasses over his eyes, he wore a black button down shirt that was not tucked in his black pants. Mako was in the back of the crowd but made her way to the front to get Goku away from him as the other just stared at this man. Mako stepped behind Goku immediately and then gently touched his shoulder but Goku didn’t look away from this man. The man simply glanced at Mako then pulled his glasses off to present the iciest blue eyes Mako has ever seen then what shocked the boys the most is when he bowed to her and then simply passed by them. “Alright let’s go guys,” Mako said as she made her way completely out of the town with them close behind, Hakuryu transform into the jeep soon after. “Miss. Mako could you explain what happen back there,” Hakkai asked as he paid attention to the road. “Of course, he is a noble vampire or aristocrat; see in the vampire world you are measured by how pure your blood is. I am at the top of the chart while the noble vampire or b levels are right below me only because there blood is different than mine; I guess you could say they’re weaker. So they show us respect no matter what but we equally respect each other, well sometime,” Mako informed them like they were children. “Your world Mako seems confusing,” Goku said with childlike confusion plaster all over his face and Mako just smiled at him saying “Yes and very annoying.”

{Sunset}

“It looks like we are sleeping in the car tonight,” Hakkai said as he pulled of the road and into a dense forest. Once he found a good parking spot the sun was completely down. Goku was already asleep once again laying on Mako’s lap as she stroke his hair. Everyone stayed in the same spots except for Mako and Goku. She gently lifted his head and placed it on the spot she was just sitting in then she made her way behind Goku and Hakkai who was still in the driver’s seat and lay down beside Goku. Mako fell asleep once her head was on the jeep’s floor.

{Later on}

Mako woke up to the moon shining brightly in her eyes and she turned over then sat up, deciding she should check and see if everything is normal. She looked around and noticed Sanzo was missing, she swiftly and quietly jumped out of the jeep she made know nose at all as she made her way where she could smell Sanzo scent. She followed it quite some ways until see saw his shirtless figure in front of her. She stood there admiring his flawless body he was like a god when the moon shined down on him. He turned and looked at her never saying a word and sat down. She was still facing his back as for drew out the same knife but cleaned a cut his neck again which was to her left side. She watched a similar scene unfolded in front of her as she kneeled down behind him. He was in an Indian style of sitting with arms propped up by his legs to where they a v-shape. She slowly slid her arm through the hole his arm made and gently places her hand on his chest plate and she felt him shiver by her touch, she smile as she did her other arm the same way. She gently pushed him back to where there was no space between her front and his back, and then he tilts his he back and to the side gently brushing his cheek with hers. She began her feeding but stopping before he could pass out but just enough her. She lifted her head a bit and began to heal his wound. “So that is how you did that,” he said softly but making Mako hears the rumble coming from his throat as she slowly raised her head to look at him. Mako didn’t even have one drop of blood left on her lips. She smiled at him as they stared at each other for a second. “Sanzo,” Mako whispered as the both drew closer to each other. She smelled sweet to him and she felt the same way. She didn’t even realized it when it happen until she felt his soft lips on hers. She immediately closed her eyes as the kiss became an explosion of fire and ice through her body. Sanzo slowly grabbed her left hand pulling her around never breaking the kiss. She was now sitting beside him on her knees leaning towards him with his lips still connected with hers until he pulled away and looking away from her. “I am so sorry Sanzo that shouldn’t of happen,” Mako said as she back away from Sanzo but he was already getting dressed and leaving. Mako sat there tracing her lips still feeling his warmth and smiling. Mako wasn’t really sorry no she was completely content with her actions and she knew deep down so was Sanzo. Mako made her way back in record time and quickly went back to sleep watching Sanzo sleeping form in the passenger seat.
