They started talking about the night they'd both had and pretty soon were laughing and talking in depth as if they'd known each other for ever.

"Seriously 16?" Skarlett asked completely enthralled in his story.

"Yeah can you believe that?"

"I'm 21 and I've never been so forward."

"Yeah I'm glad she brought that up before I actually took her home though, cause I think I would have." They laughed and he noticed she smelled like lilacs a scent that reminded him of something or someone but he couldn't remember what. She fixed her purple corset and he realized this was the girl Brendon had been dancing with. "I think you were dancing with my best friend earlier."

"Oh yeah? Who?"

"Brendon, guy with the red vest?"

"Right! He was nice, I really didn't talk to him so from the dance I just figure he is." She giggled and stared at him wondering what he looked like under that mask. 'Knowing my luck I'll never find out.' she thought.

"So what's your name?" He asked and she looked at him with a half hearted smile.

"Kelly, yours?"

"Spencer." He lied and felt a little bad for it but after his experience earlier he wasn't too sure about anything. 'Sorry Spence you're gonna have to take this one for me.' he said to himself.

"Hey ready to go?" Kelly asked after finding Skarlett talking to a guy in white outside. "It's already 3 and although you don't work I saddly do." Skarlett looked at her and nodded.

"It was nice meeting you Spencer and thank you so much again."

"Yeah same here and like I said no problem, bye Kelly." Kelly looked at Skarlett wide eyed and laughed quietly.

"Why did you do that?." Kelly whispered as they walked away, but Skarlett turned back and looked at him still sitting there.

"Spencer do you have a cell phone?" She asked walking back over and he handed it to her. "Alright so now you have my number, call me sometime and we can finish our conversation."

"Definately" He smiled widely and she waved goodbye.

"C'mon KELLY we gotta go!" Kelly called out and the two girls left.

"Hey Brendon you know that girl you were dancing with?" Ryan asked on their way back home.

"Which one?"

"The masked one in the purple corset and black wings."

"Oh yeah she was amazing, what about her?"

"Mind if I call her?" Brendon laughed at Ryan and shook his head.

"No go ahead, you're the one that got her number not me. You gotta tell me how you did it thought, I couldn't even get a name out of her." Ryan smiled andtold them the story.

"Nice Ryan, you got some serious style." Spencer said.

"Oh yeah and she thinks my name is Spencer, sorry Spence." They all laughed as Spencer argued that he should be the one to go out with her.

"So who was that?" Kelly asked as soon as they got home.

"Oh his name is Spencer and he kindda saved me from being ravaged and groped by a vampire." Skarlett said nonchalantly.

"Wait a minute this I have to hear, withall detail." Kelly sat Skarlett in her leather chair and made them some coffee while Skarlett told the story.

"Yeah and I needed a name so I gave him yours, sorry."

"Well does that mean that I get to go out with your guardian angel when he calls?"

"Ha! You wish."
