Quiet. Peaceful. Dontai was all this and more. A small, countryside town located in the land of water. Full of life, happiness, a sanctuary for lonely travellers to hold up. Lush flowers covered the market place in the centre of the village. The market place attracted many traders, bringing different gifts and wares each year they visited. No war. No hatred between any families. Peace...
That was until Nyixon Braei (Ny-ix-on Bray-i) appeared from nowhere. Nyixon Braei, a legend known by few, yet feared by most. It was once said a few thousands of years ago, once Nyixon Braei arrived, the planet of Ishisumi (the home planet of Naruto & everyone), would fall into chaos, slowly tearing itself apart.
So, naturally, the people of Dontai were fearful, looking for a way to suppress Nyixon Braei. They tried everything, but it all failed. Once all seemed lost, one warrior stepped forward, taking his own life to change the Nyixon Braei into a physical form of a baby dragon. This one warrior's name? No one knew who he was, or where he came from. All except, one person. That one person who knew who saved their village? She went by the name of Jolie Ariyah. She only knew this warrior, as she was his wife.
Now, as for the newly formed baby dragon, Dontai kept it as a secret, in hope of using her in future years to protect their village. The baby dragon grew over a year, becoming bigger and stronger. They named it Kyron. As Kyron grew, so did her mind. She began to realise she was only going to be used, and so, her hatred grew also. Within a year, she was as big as a house, her wing span over 40ft.
She eventually snapped from anger when the village elders tried to send her into battle, as she did not want to fight. She turned on the whole village, causing mass destruction with her powers. She murdered most of the villagers, some fleeing from the angry dragons rage. One of the fleeing; Jolie Ariyah, holding her six month old child, a baby girl.
The enraged dragon turned on the cornered Jolie, intent on destroying her. A desperate Jolie begged the dragon to leave her baby alone, but Kyron did not listen. Instead, Kyron attacked with one of her most powerful moves, Time Compression. But, she did not succeed in destroying the child, or mother. This was because something was protecting them. A bright white sphere enclosed around the mother and child, protecting them from any harm. Kyron's attack backfired on herself, causing time to stop, and rewind. Rewind to the time of the unknown hero who saved Dontai from Nyixon Braei. He and Kyron stared each other down before he performed a jutsu so powerful, the dragon seemed to disintegrate before their eyes, thus saving the mother and child.
But, all was not as it seemed. A dark yellow light was hanging around, an evil aura surrounding it. The bright yellow light suddenly rushed at the young child, engulfing her in it. Jolie screamed, getting shocked by a massive power, causing her to let go of her child. But the young girl did not fall to the ground, but simply hanged in mid-air, surrounded by a yellow light.
Then, a voice came from nowhere, sounding so evil, yet familiar. "You may think I'm gone, but you're wrong. I will never be gone, as long as this child lives. If you want me to be destroyed, you must kill her. Can you kill your own child?"
Jolie stared at her child in shock, falling to her knees. Time slowly began to right itself, bringing Jolie and her child back to the destroyed village of Dontai. Jolie slowly got to her feet, walking over to her child, fear, sorrow and hatred filling her. And yet, she could not hate her own child. So, she took her in her arms, and fled from the once peaceful village of Dontai. No one knew where she went, or what became of the child. Everyone found out about the tragic attack on the village of Dontai, but not one person knew about what had caused it, apart from the Kage's of each Hidden Village. However, none spoke of Dontai again, not knowing what happened to the dragon. They do not ever talk about it, but it is always in their mind, worrying about the dragons whereabouts. But, the rest of the world remain ignorant of this knowledge.
Now, what happened to Jolie and her child? No one knew where she went, or if she was still alive. No one was very concerned, as no one knew about her child. Jolie Ariyah and her baby were eventually forgotten about. This was fourteen years ago.

"Saff?" Fumbling with the pillow, I cover my head. "...Saff?" Groaning, I push down on my pillow, covering my ears. Sounds of the door opening and footsteps towards me. "Saffron Ariyah! Get your lazy butt out of bed, young lady!" I slowly open my eyes, peeking from my bed to see my mother staring at me, an annoyed expression on her face, hands on her hips. I mumble to myself, lying back down. I suddenly feel my covers being torn off the bed, my pillow sent flying and my mother yelling at me again. "Saffron! Get up! You're helping me with the shop today!"
"But muuuuumm! Do I have to?" I yawn and groan at the same time.
She gets daggers in her eyes. "Yes, you do! Get up and dressed already! You also promised to work at the ramen shop today to pay off the dept you owe for breaking their cooker!"
I grumble, shivering from the absence of my cover. Growling, I slowly sit up on my bed, well aware of my mother's annoyance due to the fact that I've overslept again. Oops. "Mum, you could've just let me sleep! It's to early anyway."
My mother shakes her head, sighing. "Out of all the daughters in the world, I got a lazy, sarcastic one. What'd I do to deserve this?"
I roll my eyes at her. "I'm not stupid. I understand what you're saying. Oh, and too bad. You're stuck with me I'm afraid. No one else. Well, you would have dad if he didn't bugger off with some other woman, but y'know, that's life."
My mother gave me a sharp looking, causing me to shut up. "Saffron, don't talk about your father that way! He's-! ...A good man. He did alot no one ever knew."
"Oh yeah? Like what?" I snicker, putting my hands behind my head and looking up at her. "All he did was run away. I've never even met the guy!"
Mother sighs again, turning her head away from me so I can't see tears forming in her eyes. "Don't talk about him in that way, Saff. He saved us from a terrible fate."
I frown, "Mother, what're you going on about? You're talking about him like he's some hero when he ran off with another-...he didn't run off with someone else...did he?"
My mother shakes her head. I see tears falling down her cheeks. "No, he didn't."
Okay, now I'm getting worried! "...What happened to him?" I ask gently, looking up at her with worried eyes. "...Tell me, please!"
"Saffron, you're father...passed away fourteen years ago. That's why you've never met him."
I freeze inside. My dad's...dead? But, how...? "Wh-what're you on about? D-dead?" I stutter, looking ahead of me, frowning. It can't be true.
"Yes, Saffron, dead. I'm so sorry I never told you before. I couldn't tell you, it'd break your heart. He died protecting our home village," she says, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"B-but you said we've lived in Suna for all our lives!" I shout, not realising I'm being so loud. "You said-!"
"I've said alot of things that aren't true, Saffron. I wanted to protect you from the truth."
"But...but...why? Why'd you lie to me!?" I yell, jumping to my feet.
She looks at me with watery eyes. "Saff, I'm sorry hunny. I didn't want you to know. Our home village, Dontai it was called. It was attacked by a fearsome beast, well, dragon."
"D-dragon!?" I yelp, my eyes widening. "We got attacked by a dragon!?"
"Yes...a dragon...that now resides-" she begins, getting interrupted.
"Where!? Where is the beast! I'll go and kill it myself!" I growl, eyes blazing. "This monster killed my father and the whole village! I'll kill it!"
My mother looks at me with sorrow in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Saff, but you can't kill the dragon."
I stop and stare at her, the scowl, "Why not!? ...Oh, is it already dead?"
"No..."
"Then why!? Why can't I kill it!? If it's some stupid reason, like 'I don't want you to go!' then-!"
"It's soul is inside of you, Saffron. Sealed within you."
I freeze up inside, staring at my mother. "W...what...?"
"The dragon, Saffron. Your father killed it, but before he could banish the spirit, the dragon attached itself to you. It said about how I should kill you to kill it, but I couldn't kill my own child... I'm sorry I haven't told you sooner," she whispers, tears falling down her cheeks.
I stare at her, dumbstruck. That...dragon! is inside...me!? What the heck? I've got a demon dragon inside me! How the hell did I never know!? ...Unless... "Mother...did anyone else survive the Dontai attack?"
She shakes her head, tears falling to the floor. I stare at her again. "No one else I know of. Only you and I. Some escaped, but I don't know what happened to them. You are...and will always be part of that dragon...that destroyed our village." My eyes widen again, my mouth hanging open. Her expression saddens more. "I'm so sorry Saff! I never wanted you to know! Such a burden to bear at such a young age..."
"But...you still lied to me...all these years..." I whisper, lowering my gaze to the floor, trying to hide the fact that tears welling in the corner of my eyes. "You lied to me...about the fact that I'm really...a monster..."
My mother looks up at me, her eyes shining. "No Saffron! You're not a monster! That...dragon is the monster, not you-!"
"And that dragon is inside me...is part of me..." I whisper, making her go silent. She drops her gaze again, covering her face with her hands. "Get out my room." She looks up at me, then nods once, quickly exiting through the door. I plop down on my bed, trying to take in all this...news. "I-I...I'm...a monster...that killed my home village...that killed my father..." I cradle my head in my hands. "I...I don't deserve to be alive..."
I sit like that for a while, forgetting about everything in the world and focusing on the thoughts raving about my head. Why did this happen? How did it happen? ...What else is my mother not telling me? Or was that all to tell? Does anyone else know? Does anyone else know of the monster that killed my village? Are we the only survivors? What-? "Gah!" I yelp, grabbing my head and falling on my side on the bed. My head's pounding. This is worse than any headache I've ever had...worse than anything... "YAAHHH!!!" I yell before smacking my head against the post on my bed and knocking myself unconscious.
