I decided to just go with it. I'm inspired to make an Akatsuki High School, so I decided to go with it.
If I made mine too much like someone else's, then please tell me! I do NOT want to copy someone's. I want to make mine as original as possible.
I know all high schools aren't the same. I'm makingbased like the high school I attend, just because it's easier. Here's some info on that:
Freshmen: 9th graders.
Sophomores: 10th graders.
Juniors:11th graders.
Seniors: 12th graders.
The schools I mention have eight periods, and every period is fifty minutes long, with ten minutes to get to the next class. The classes repeat throughout the whole week (Monday, first period: English, Tuesday, first period: English...)
I'll make the schedule like this:
1st period: 7:00 - 7:50
2nd period: 8:00 - 8:50
3rd period: 9:00 - 9:50
4th period: 10:00 - 10:50
5th period: 11:00 - 11:50
6th period: 12:00- 12:50
7th period: 1:00 - 1:50
8th period: 2:00 - 2:50
That's all I can think of right now, so if I find something that I should explain, I'll make a note. =)
You'll find out more about the actual high school and your characterin the story, so here I go!
(PS: I lost inspiration for my Deidara story. If you read it and like it and want me to continue, I will. Just rate it high or message, I don't care.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the first day of school. Boring ol' high school - being a sophomore didn't help, either. That diminished the excitement, tossed out the nervousness, destroyed the emotion that came from the first day of school.

And your classes were boring, too. Although it did help that you knew quite a few people. You liked to talk, so making friends was easy for you; plus, you've known these people since kindergarten. You haven't moved, ever; you were born and raised in thisplace you call "home."

You arrived at first period, second period, third period... The day dragged on; even lunch. Finally, oh finally, you were released to freedom.

"_______! ______!" called out someone, who you recognized to be your best friend.

You turned to her, relieved that you finally saw her today; it stunk that she wasn't in any of your classes, but it was the same last year. You somehow both made it out alive Freshman year.

"Hey there!" you said. "How was your first day of school?"

"Boring. It's like nothing's changed since last year," she said as the two of you walked to the bus ramp. You just made it downstairs when an AP (Assistant Principle) called out to you.

"______, I need you to come down to the principals office for a minute," the AP said. You nodded your head and followed him.

"Oooooh!" taunted your best friend, guessing you were in trouble. "Call me later!"

"Will I make it to the bus?" you asked the AP, hoping that it would only be brief.

"Sorry, you won't, but your parents are here," he said.

"What? What did I do?" you asked.

"You didn't do anything wrong. We'll explain when we get there," he said, and the two of you walked to the principles office. You had never been there before, you never got in trouble. You weren't a bad kid.

The AP held the door open to the office, and you walked in. He closed the door behind you, staying outside. You saw the principal sitting at her desk, your parents sitting in two chairs across from him, and another... odd-looking man sitting in another chair on the side with your parents. There was an empty chair inbetween your dad and the man you didn't recognize, so you sat there.

There was a silence.

The principal adjusted her glasses, trying to think of something to say. Eventually, she took a deep breath, and she said, "I'm going to be blunt. You're transferring schools."

"What?!" you shouted. "I didn't do anything wrong here, I have no problems here, there is no reason I should leave!" You got angrily easily; especially with changes. You liked routine; it was easy and there was no real thought put into it.

"We know you didn't do anything," said the principal calmly. "Listen for a minute."

You shut your mouth.

"You have been invited to attend Akatsuki High Schoolfor the remaining of your school years," she said. You knew of the University of Akatsuki... it wasthe school to goto. Not only was the schooling great, but the parties were killer. Althoughyouhaven't heard of AkatsukiHigh."Akatsuki High is not known to ninety-nine percent of people; it is a small, experimental boardingschool that is roughly two-thousand miles away from here."

"And where is that?" you asked. "In the middle of nowhere?"

"Only certain people know where it is," said the principal. "It's quite exclusive."

"So, why me?" you asked.

"Because," said the man next to you, who you completly forgot about. You looked at him, and realized that he was as odd as you first thought: His hair was bright orange, and seemed to have been spiked so it stayed in the air. 'Bad hair day?' you thought. His eyes were ringed. 'Contacts, totally.' And he had piercings everywhere; his nose, ears, chin. 'He looks thirty - I thought adults were more responsible?' He wore a dull gray suit with a tie that showed off red clouds. 'Interesting choice.'

The man continued. "Every year, our seniors graduate, which leave many seats unoccupied. Every year, we fill those seats by going around to every school in the world to find anyone who meets our standards. You meet our standards."

"And what standards are those?" you asked. "I'm smart? I'm definitely not athletic."

"It's classified," the mansaid. "But we typically go for students whose futures aren't yet certain, like college and jobs after high school. Akatsuki High helps boost those students to make a decision."

You didn't know whether to be offended or complimented, so you just nodded your head.

"You must also know," the pierced man said, "that we don't accept cell phones, personal laptops or computers, or any other source of communication, except letters. But even then staff must read the letters before sending them, and read letters before giving them to the receiver. That way Akatsuki High remains a secret."

"What?!" you exclaimed again. "If I go, I have to give up the friends I made here?"

"We think it's a good choice to go," spoke your mother gently. "It will bea good experience."

"I don't know anything about it!" you exclaimed. "Neither do you! You're willing to send me off to someplace you've never heard of?"

"Every other month, we bring in parents to visit their child," said the man with spiked hair. "Free of charge. So is the tuition to the school - everything is payed for."

"It'll help you prepare for the world," said your father. "You can't stay in one place forever."

"I like this place," you said. "I don't want to go to a school that sounds like rehab."

"A hundred percent of the people who attend Akatsuki High graduate, and ninety-seven percent of those who graduate attend the University of Akatsuki."

'There's the connection!' you thought. "I'll... have to think about it," you said.

The man with the orange hair nodded. "You're excused from school tomorrow to make your decision. I'll be at your house the day after. That should give you plenty of time. By the way, they call me Mr. Pein."

'Mr. Pein?' you thought. 'Just when I think it's a good idea, something like that happens. Go figure.'

He stood up, shook everyone's hand, and left the room. The four of you were left.

"Well," said the principal. "I personally think you should go for it, ______, it's an opportunity that shouldn't be missed."

"I'll think about it," you said.

---

The next day, you lounged on the couch. The television was off, no music was playing, nothing that could distract you from thinking. You needed your decision.

On one hand, you didn't want to go. It was too far away, you wouldn't be able to talk to your friends except through letters. I can make new friends. You didn't know where to go, and you'd make a fool of yourself the first day. It happens to everyone. I'll stand out as the new kid.
I'm probably not the only one invited.

On the other hand, it was an opportunity. You could try living on your own. I barely know how to cook. Most of the world isn't allowed to attend. But then, who is? It was mysterious.
It could end up being something I thought it wouldn't be.

"How's the thinking going, sweetie?" said your Mom, disrupting your thoughts.

"I don't know," you said. "I just don't know."

"I think you should do it," said your Mom.

"Maybe. But his name! Mr. Pein! He's better off being a dentist with that name."

"Don't judge people," advised your Mom. "We're all human."

"Mmm. Yeah," you said.

That night, you came to a decision.

"Mom, Dad, I've come to a decision." Both of your parents looked at you, listening. "I'm going to go."

They both cheered and hugged you, and there was a mini-celebration.

And then it hit you.

"Oh my gosh. I'm leaving. For at least three years!" you said. "What am I going to tell my friends? They'll notice! I can't have my cell phone, I need their addresses!"

"We'll handle that for you," said your Mom. "We'll give it to you on the first Parent-Visit Day."

"Okay," you said, calming down. You were incredibly nervous.

----

"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" you yelled out to your parents as you boarded the small, private jet. Mr. Pein was alreadyin there, waiting for you. They waved, and you noticed that your Mom was teary. You were leaving them. You had never left them before!

You took a deep breath and boarded the plane. 'Now or never,' you thought. You saw Mr. Pein sitting at a table towards the middle, and you joined him.

"Now that we are about to leave, ______, I can answer some of your questions," he said. You were about to start asking, but he quickly kept talking. "After I tell you things that you need to know."

You nodded, listening. "Are you positive you want to attend Akatsuki High?" he asked.

"Positive, sir," you said confidently. And the plane started to move.

"Are you positive that you are willing to basically start a new life?" he asked again.

"Positive, sir," you said, not so confidently. The plane picked up speed.

"Are you positive that you will accept whatever Akatsuki High throws at you for the first three years?" he asked again.

You were about to answer, when the plane took off. You looked out the window, and you realized it was the first time you have ever been in a plane.

"Well," said Mr. Pein. "Too late now."
