It was the third year, your best friend was Ginny Weasley. You had just exited Potions, drained of any fun you went in search of Ginny, you wandered around the school, in a lost trance, you couldn't find her anywhere. That is when you crashed into Ron and Harry, you regained your balance and looked up at them.
'Oh hey Erin' Harry said looking at you half confused.
'Oh hey Harry, Ron' you smiled innocently.
'What lesson have you got?' Ron asked, you looked at them slight confused, then remembered you were due in a lesson.
'Arm, Herbology' you blushed, they looked around, you were near enough at Defence Against the Dark Arts.
'Then why are you so far away?' Ron laughed, you looked down.
'I have been too busy looking for Ginny' you sighed, Ron glared at you.
'She didn't tell you?' Ron gulped, you looked at him.
'What?' you asked.
'She is rehearsing with Neville for the Yule Ball' Ron replied, you looked away.
'Oh she is going to the Yule Ball with him' you sighed, Harry and Ron looked at each other.
'What, she didn't tell you that either?' Harry asked, you shook your head and headed pass them. A frown was stuck to your face. The plan had been that you and her would get partners together. You wandered over to Hagrid's hut, where you sat in the forest opposite, you looked at the ground.
'Who is Neville?' you thought to yourself, you stood up quickly as rustling came from behind the trees, then you heard music, you sneaked behind the trees and watched as Ginny and Neville waltzed. You laughed slightly, even though disappointment ran through your body. However your presence was noted and both Neville and Ginny stopped.
'Come out, whoever you are' Neville shouted placing his wand in your direction.
'Typical' you thought to yourself, you stepped out from the bushes, Ginny's mouth dropped and eyes moved from you back to Neville.
'Erin, what are you doing out here?' Ginny asked, you shrugged and just walked pass them.
'Erin, what is wrong?' Ginny shouted after you.
'Lets just say a friend broke a promise' you shouted in reply and ran for the school. You ran pass people with your eyes filled with tears. You crashed into Harry's chest, you tried to escape but you got caught, Ron pulled you out, Harry and Ron looked at you concerned, you shook it off and ran pass them, you ran into the common room and straight for your bed. You hid under the covers where you cried yourself to sleep.
So yes, that is how you met Neville, lets just say you and Ginny lost that friendship, you became a loner and wouldn't let anyone in, for everyone just betrayed you.
How it happened
You were now 5th year, you was walking up the steps after a detention with Umbridge, your hand was imprinted with 'I must listen in class' you sighed as you walked into the common room to find Neville, crying on the couch, you sat on the couch next to him and placed your arm around him.
'Hey Neville, what is wrong?' you asked concerned, he looked up from his hand, totally speechless.
'Erin' he said surprised. You nodded and looked him in the eyes.
'Ginny broke it off with me' he sighed, you wiped away his tears.
'Look Neville, relationships end, sometimes it is better' you smiled, he looked you in the eyes and nodded. Suddenly you found yourself leaning in and kissing Neville on the lips, the kiss went on for ages, soon he was laid across you and you were making out intently. 2 hours passed, you were still on the common room couch, except neither of you had clothes on and Neville had fallen asleep, you caught your breath finally and sighed at what had just happened. You slowly got up and dressed. You shook Neville to awake, he did so and quickly got dressed, you blushed at each other completely gob smacked, he suddenly placed a hand on your cheek and stroked it.
'Erin, I know you don't know me, but I seem to know you' Neville began to explain his feelings, it soon came down to three final words.
'I need Ginny' Neville finished, you glared at him confused.
'Wh-at?' you sighed, Neville looked down.
'I thought by doing that I could get over Ginny' he sighed, you glared at him and felt disgusted.
'That is disrespectful and pathetic, Neville Longbottom, I fell in love with you long ago and all you can do is use me!' you suddenly shouted, you began to cry and ran into the bedroom, you laid out on your bed and cried yourself to sleep.
How you told him
Now you told no one what happened between you and Neville. The past few days though you had been feeling sick and having random outburst of anger. You were walking to Herbology when you suddenly loss conciousness, the next thing you knew you was lying in a hospital bed with someone's hand on yours. You turned to see a smiling Ron.
'Erin, I am so glad you are alright' he smirked, you looked at him, his eyes were so deep, they told a different story to how he was acting, as if to say he had a confession or knowledge he was not letting on.
'Ah, she is awake' Madame Promfrey smiled, she handed you a slip of paper, you glared down at it, your eyes widened as you saw the word 'Positive'. You sighed and looked down, that is when Ron's girlfriend, Samantha walked in. She looked at Ron in a strange way.
'What is it Sam?' he asked grinning, you knew she was pregnant too.
'Why are you with her?' Sam asked looking at you with disgust.
'She collapsed' he sighed, her eyes then softened and sat down next to you.
'Pregnant?' she asked, you nodded slowly, you saw a 'I-thought-so' look on Ron's face.
'Hmm, how long and whose is it?' Sam asked, you looked away at this.
'So what lesson are you missing?' you asked changing the conversation, both Sam and Ron gave you a concerned look.
'You do know, don't you?' Sam sighed, you looked at her in shock.
'Of course I know' you said annoyed.
'Who is it then?' Ron asked, you looked down, tear escaped your eyes and you began to cry.
'Neville' you finally sniffed out.
'You slept with my sister's boyfriend' Ron said getting angry.
'It was when she dumped him, he took advantage of the fact I loved him' you cried harder, Ron got really annoyed by this point, he grabbed your hand and dragged you through the corridors, you nearly loss your balance when you arrived at a tree where Neville sat with Ginny.
'Tell him, what you told me' Ron said throwing you to the floor, you looked up at them both.
'I am pregnant' you sighed.
'Why are y-' Ginny began but was interruption.
'No, the other thing you told me' Ron shouted, shivers went down your spine.
'The baby's father is..Neville' you sighed, Ginny looked horrified at Neville, you looked away.
'You cheated on me?' she said with tears filling her eyes.
'No, Ginny it was when you broke up with me' Neville sighed. Ginny looked at you.
'Erin, you slut, you took advantage of Neville when he was down' Ginny shouted at you, you stood up,
'Sorry' you sighed and ran for the castle, away from everyone. You arrived back at the common room, people started throwing condoms at you. Could Sam already have told everyone. You ran to your room where you packed your bags and sent an owl to your parents. You pulled your suitcase out past everyone in the common room and headed to Dumbledore's office, you were walking when someone grabbed your shoulder, you turned around, your eyes red. You looked to see Ron. You looked down.
'Happy now?' you sighed, Ron looked away.
'No, I am sorry about that' he sighed. You shook your head and headed over to Dumbledore's office. You said the password and headed up. You arrived to realise it was now Umbridge. You explained to her the situation but she wouldn't let you go, so that night you ran away.
7 months later
You was home with your mother, your stomach was huge and your ankles were swallon, you cried in pain suddenly. Your mum ran in and saw the pain you were in. She lifted you on the couch and laid you out. She rushed off and got towels and water, you were screaming in pain. After 5 hours of screaming and pushing the baby finally came out. Your mother placed the little baby boy in your arms. You held him close, he looked so cute and he was yours. You kissed his head,.
'What are you going to name him dear?' your mother asked, you looked up at her.
'Richard' you smiled, your mum nodded and walked off. From that day it was you and Richard, you never told him about his Father, You became a worker at the Ministry of Magic, only problem was you bumped into Ron, a lot. You became best friends, also you ended up getting married to a co-worker called Tim Lunch at the age of 20 years old when you had twins with him. You named them Ruby and Diamond. Tim was a great father to Richard as well as the twins.
Richard [20]:
Richard was a great inspiration in Hogwarts, he was top of his class in Herbology, like Neville. Thing was Neville was the Herbology teacher of the time. Soon enough you told Richard about Neville, however Richard pretended to ignore this knowledge and continued as calling Tim his father not Neville. Neville never found out. He was placed in Gyriffindor on the fact both of his parents were Gryffindors. He ended up dating a girl called Paris, they have been together 3 years now, you know one day they will end up with a family, happy. He works at the Ministry of Magic alongside his parents, you and Tim.
Ruby [15]:
Ruby at this moment in time is in Gyriffindor, she is not emotional like you. She does very well in Defence against the Dark arts and is much like her father. She looks up to Richard and is shocked about the fact that Neville wanted to know him. Penny Longbottom, Neville daughter is in Ruby's year and house. Ruby hates Penny with passion. Ruby is very close to Richard and would do anything for him.
Diamond [15]:
Diamond is currently pregnant. It didn't shock you she took after you with stupidity and emotions. However the father of her baby, Karl, is there for her no matter what. Also Penny Longbottom is her best friend, she doesn't get on with either of her siblings. She is in Hufflepuff house. Diamond is sensitive to anything.
Not that I have anything against Neville, they just don't all need to be good. Hope you enjoy x
