One day Johnny Appleseed was trying to make something tasty that would go with apples. He knew it would be a cold night, so he started to make a fire. He started to cut up some apples but pretty soon he got cut. Next he threw the knife at the tree right over one of his buckets. Once the fire was finally made, the wind blew it out. Johnny Appleseed was so mad that he didn't notice the sap dripping from the tree into the bucket. It then started to rain. Johnny had become very thirsty. Without noticing the sap, he drank the water in the bucket. His lips got stuck togethor. He remembered the other bucket that he had, so he drank out of that one too. His lips could move again. He grabbed the bucket filled with water and sap. He poured out the water but the sap stayed. He stepped on where the fire was but he was burned because the fire had started again. He saw the sap in the bucket and he tryed to pour it into the fire again and again. He became so desperate to get it out that he threw the bucket into the fire. It didn't matter to him because he had another one. He saw something sparkly in the fire. He then put his hand into the fire to touch it and burned himself. He didn't nothice the pain after he tasted the sap. He then had the genuis idea to put it on an apple. It tasted magnificent, especially with the apple. He put out the fire and ate his new creation for dinner.
