Frank's p.o.v.
A loud crash errupted from the kitchen just as I had sat down on the couch. I thought it was funny, but aparently Ray didn't. He jumped up and ran into his kitchen. I reluctently got up and went after him. Once my head peaked around the corner, I saw Suzan on the floor, covered in flour. I couldn't help but crack up.
"Frank..." She warned as Ray helped her up. I waved and winked at them before tearing out of the house, Suzan close at my heals. I threw open the door and jumped down all of the steps before turning sharply and running through the yard and around the house. Unfortunitally, I didn't see the garden hose laided out infront of me and tripped, tumbling down onto the grass.
I could only let out a small gasp before she tackled me, knocking the wind from my chest. I coughed and spluttered, trying to regain my breathing. "Breathe, Iero, breathe." She said, brushing her pants off -not like it helped- and stood. She walked to the garden hose and wet her hands so she could wip the flour from her face.
I managed a gasp as I looked at her, with the flour turning her her hair white, and smiled, leaping and grabbing her wrist and dragging her back inside. Ray came at me and her with a spatula, waving it around and cursing about turning the house white. I dodged him and grabbed the keys to my car, and dragged Suzan out to it.
She got in, a little confuzed and I leaped in through the window (just to add some cool effect) and started her up. She roared to life and I squeeled from the drive.
"Frank, I'm still covered in floor, you know." She said, still trying to figure out what I was doing exactly. I just nodded as I pulled up to a red light, and turned to her.
"We, meaning I with no choice for you in the matter, are going to get your hair dyed. Now." Holding up a hand to stop her from talking back. "I said no choice for you in the matter."
"And in return, I get the pleasure of getting your car covered in flour. Sweet. But," She said, holding a finger in the air and pointing her nose to the sky, "No. Extreme. Colors. No, 3 color stuff. No."
I smiled and pulled forward as the light turned green. "Good, I wasn't planning on 3 colors. Just one color." This is the part where I grin maniacally. "Blond." I used my knee to stear the car as I did the evil-hand-finger-wave-thing-with-no-name.
"No. I will jump out of this moving car before I dye my hair blond! No!" She threateningly put her hand on handle of the door. A click sounded through the car as I locked her door. "What..."
"Master lock, baby." I said as I pulled into the parking lot of the nearby hair salon. I pulled into a parking space and rolled my window up and climbed out and locked it before she could do anything about it. "Stay here while I make the apointment, huneybunchkins." I said with a wave before skipping into the building. God I have to stop doing that.
"May I help you, sir?" The girl behind the counter asked, twirling a piece of her strawberry blond hair on her finger.
"Yes, I'd like to make an appointment for a hair dye?" I asked, looking around as a girl waving at me caught my attention. I smiled at her before continuing. "Soon as posible. See, the thing is, I'm sort of kidnapping my friend to get her hair done, and I can't keep her locked in the car forever."
Her eyes widened and she tried to hide a smile as she punched a couple things in the computer. "And the kidnapee's name, sir?" I sort of chuckled and looked out into the parking lot where Suzan was glaring at me and attempting to unlock to doors somehow.
"Suzannah Toro-Ortiz. That's Suzannah with a 'z' and Toro is spelled t-o-r-o." Answering her question before she could ask it. She nodded and then narrowed her eyes at me, making a 'hmmm' sound.
"Appointment's in 10 minutes." A pause. "You know, I think I've seen you before. What's your name?"
"Frank Iero, see you then." I patted the counter top and left the salon, and out to the car where I sat on the still cooling hood. She banged on the wind-shield and I turned around, looking fake-surprised. "Oh my, Suzan, what are you doing in there?"
She flipped me off and then crawled in the backseat and opened the little door that led to the trunk. I didn't think much about how big it was before the trunk top flew up and she crawled out. I waited untill she came back around to the front and crossed her arms before I clapped. "Now to really impress me, get back in without the trunk."
