After that night you let him sleep in your room. The boy didn't say a word. He just ate slowly the food you gave him last night. 'He was traumatized like me.' You thought as you got up and prepared your own food since Jun didn't come yet. You went to the fridge in the corner of your room and got some ham and eggs. After preparing breakfast, you woke him up.

.:Ren's POV:.

You slowly opened your eyes and saw the girl that was attending to you last night. You slowly sat up and stared at her. "Come on, let's eat together." She said as you stood up and went to the table. You both sat down and ate quietly. "So, what's your name?" she asked. "I'm Tao Ren. What about you?" I asked back. "I'm Onikawa Hiyo." She replied and you continued to eat.

"Thanks for helping me last night and for cooking breakfast." You said as she looked at you. "It's okay. You have the same experience as me anyway." She replied as she continued to eat. "I-I've never seen you before." You said. "Me too. Where do you live?" she asked. You were shocked. She didn't know that you are the heir of the Tao family, but you didn't spoke to her rudely.

"I live here." You replied.

"Really? I live here too." She replied.

'She also live here? But why don't I see her?' you thought.

"Oh." You said as you finished the food.

.:Your POV:.

"Um, since you live in this place, are you a shaman too?" you asked. "Yeah." Ren replied with a confused face which you chose to ignore. 'How does she know about shamans? And, who really is this girl?' Ren thought as he stared at you. "Is there something wrong? You've been spacing out you know." You said as he snapped out of his thoughts.

"So, who is your spirit?" you asked as he went to sit down at the edge of your bed. "His name is Bason. How about you?" Ren asked. "Um, I really don't know myself. I can create an oversoul without a spirit." You replied. 'What? How can she do that?' Ren thought. "Hey, do you know Jun-san?" you asked. Ren nodded and said, "She's my older sister." Ren replied. You gasped.

"So she has a sibling. I thought she was only En-san's child." You said. (En is Ren's father.) "She didn't tell you about me?" Ren asked you. "Uh, she didn't…" your voice trailed off as you stared at the ground. "How do you know my sister?" Ren asked. 'Who is she exactly?' he thought again. "She trained me and took care of me since my clan was killed." You replied. "By the way, don't tell Jun-san that we know each other." You added. Ren looked at you with a confused face. "Why?" he asked. "Maybe, she doesn't want you too meet me. Just maybe." You replied. "Okay." Ren replied.

-After 6 years- (Age: 9)

You and Ren were best friends and you train secretly together. Jun didn't even notice it. You were in your room when you heard somebody knock on your door. "You may come in." you said. The door revealed Ren holding his spear. "Is something wrong?" you asked him. "Nothing." He replied. "I heard that another shaman is trying to get you from us. I can't let that happen, can I?" he said to you with a smirk. "Hm… I don't know…" you said.

-Late in the Afternoon-

You were walking alongside with Ren outside the house when a man stopped you in your tracks. 'He…He looks familiar. Oh. How can I ever forget…' you thought as you started to burn with hatred. "Come with me Hiyo." He said. "There's no way I'm going with you Marco!" you shouted at him. Ren got in front of you. "No… Ren don’t." you said. He ignored you and they fought.

After a while, Ren was on the ground. "Run now Hiyo. Go!" he commanded but you didn't listen. 'I'm so useless…' you thought as you got into a fighting stance. "Don't worry, Ren. I'll be fine." You said to him with a faint smile. You let your guard down while speaking to Ren and Marco reappeared behind you. He stabbed you with a knife at the stomach and you gasped. "D-Damn…" you thought out loud and fainted. The last thing you know, Ren was shouting your name.
