"You have planned everything right?" the "caretaker" asked."Sure! I can begin anytime! The plan to murder the owner of the mansion is ready!" the unidentified wierdo said casually.
All three of the teenagers' eyes widened to impossible sizes.
"MURDER?!" Chikai shouted.
Luffy and Usopp quickly slapped their hands over her mouth to shut her up.
[Aw....fish sticks!....] Chikai thought as she saw the two men snap their attention towards their direction...
Brush 3 :: Maroon
Chikai gulped nervously as she saw the two men settle their gazes towards their direction.
"You idiot! Do you want to get us killed?!" Ussop whispered angrily as he glared at her.
The red head didn't answer. She was concentrating on the two men who had seemed to gone on with their discussion.
"Captain Kuro. It seems that we have some eavesdroppers" the wierdo said, acknowledging the three's presence.
"Do not mind them, Jango. They're just a bunch of kids. Furthermore, one of them is known as a notorious liar, so it would be useless to go after them." The so-called caretaker said as he adjusted his glasses witht the palm of his hand.
Ussop glared at the man, clenching his fist angrily.
"And Jango...don't address me as the Captain anymore. I got rid of that name three years ago. Besides, you're the captain now." Kurahadore said as he smirked.
Luffy and Ussop, who had uncovered Chikai's mouth, looked at each other, confused.
"Hey, who's Captain Kuro?" Luffy asked Ussop.
But before Ussop could answer, Chikai had cut in.
"A famous pirate who was executed three years ago." she muttered as she narrowed her eyes at the "caretaker".
Luffy and Ussop looked surprised that she even knew this piece of information.
Finally, Luffy seemed to have heard enough of their plan. Chikai did not notice him standing up as she was busy staring at this "Jango" character making wierd poses.
[He makes pretty good poses...I must admit..] Chikai thought.
"Hey you! Don't kill that girl!" Luffy yelled loudly.
Chikai's head snapped up and she turned to look at Luffy.
"Hey! Stop being so noisy! We allowed you to live the first time! So shut up!" Jango yelled, irritated.
"Hmph. They still haven't left?" Kuro muttered as he looked up at the three of you.
Ussop looked like he was crying.
"YOU IDIOT! THEY'LL SURELY KILL US NOW!!!" Ussop screamed.
Chikai looked at Luffy, wondering what was wrong with him.
[And HE called ME an idiot!] she thought, slightly miffed.
"That's it! I'll deal with them!" Jango said as he adjusted his funny hat.
"What's that?" Luffy asked as he stared at a metal ring the man had pulled out.
"It's a flying weapon! We'll be killed!" Ussop yelled.
"Now. Be some good kids and listen! Look at thia ring!" Jango commanded.
Being the idiots Chikai and Luffy were, they listened to the man, word for word-with all attentiveness.
Ussop didn't want to stick around and find out, so he turned tail and ran.
"When I say "one" "two" "Jango!" You will then fall asleep!" Jango said as he started to slowly swing his metal ring side to side.
"one"
"two"
"JANGO!"
As if someone had flipped a switch, Luffy, Chikai and Jango instantly fell asleep.
Kuro sighed at Jango, before attempting to wake him up.
"Hey. I've decided, finish the job." Kuro ordered.
Jango snapped awake.
At the very same moment, Luffy who was standing near the edge of the cliff, fell off the edge.
Luffy fell on to his head from the edge of the cliff. Debris flew everywhere. It was a loud unpleasant sound as the two men heard something crack.
Chikai just fell onto her back, asleep and unnoticed.
"Ugh.He's dead already?" Jango said, slightly disappointed. No one could survive a fall like that after all.
No one human.
"What about the other two."
"Leave them. Like I said, one of them is a liar, and the other is a just a kid. No one would believe them." Kuro said, waving his hand dismissively.
Jango nodded, seeing the logic.
"So, shall we commence the plan, tommorrow morning?" Jango asked.
Kuro nodded.
Neither noticed Luffy, who was still snoring, and more importantly, alive.
Chikai, who was at the top of the hill, snored away.
I'm Just a Line Break! Don't Mind Me!
Zoro and Nami, who were waiting by a fence, stood next to the three kids from earlier.
"Hey! Isn't tha-" one of the kids started.
"CAPTAIN!" the second kid yelled as all of them spotted a running figure in the distance.
"I think he's still mad at the caretaker for insulting his father." Name mused, staring after the figure.
"I guess." Zoro said, leaning against the fence.
"I don't think so!" one of the kids yelled, opposing Nami's conclusion.
"Yeah! Captain was in a hurry!"
"Something must have happened at the coast!"
"Wasn't Luffy with him? Where's the coast?" Zoro asked.
"Hey! Didn't that wierd Hypnotist go to the coast?!" one of the kids yelled.
"Yeah!"
Zoro sighed in annoyance.
Finally, the group arrived at the coast, after much bickering.
They continued to explore the area, looking for Luffy.
Zoro growled.
"Where is that idiot?!"
"Ah! Look!" one of the kids yelled out as he pointed towards something.
Zoro turned around, out of curiousity. His eyes scanned the area the kid had pointed, only to see Luffy sleeping at an odd angle, snoring soundly.
"Hey! What's he doing?!"
"He's sleeping wierdly!"
Nami sighed. Luffy seems to be able to sleep anywhere and anytime, no matter how uncomfortable.
Zoro stared at his captain, before walking up to his sleeping form and kicking the younger man sharply.
"OW!" Luffy yelped.
[Well, that woke him up] Nami thought as she watched Luffy rub his sore back.
Realising the position he was in, Luffy quickly flipped over, switching to a cross-legged position on the floor.
"Why were you sleeping like that, mister?" the kids asked him.
Luffy ignored them, working on getting the kinks out of his neck. Nami winced as she heard several loud cracks.
"Ah! You guys!" Luffy suddenly cried out as he looked at everyone.
I'm Just a Line Break! Don't Mind Me!
"What?! Kill Miss Kaya?!"
Chikai slowly and wearily opened her eyes.
Sitting up, she groggily took in her surroundings.
"Wha-?What am I doing here?" she asked herself. She noted that instead of a soft bed, or a sleeping bag, she was sleeping on the grassy ground.
She looked around, confused, before spotting her canvas a few metres away.
Her eyes lit up as she remembered why she was here.
"I must have fallen asleep after I completed the painting..." Chikai mused to herself.
"THAT MAN IS REALLY BAD!"
"I THINK SO!"
"I THINK THAT HYPNOTIST IS HIS COMRADE!"
Chikai's ears perked up.
[Hypnotist?....WAIT! I remember now!] she thought, as memories flooded her mind.
Quickly getting up, she made her way towards the edge of the cliff.
"That's good isn't it? Now the villagers have a chance to escape!" Nami rationalised. Chikai looked at them curiously.
"That's true! Let's get out of here!"
"Let's get all our stuff and run away!"
"The treasure box, snacks, toys..."
"Let's Hurry!" the three kids yelled as they started to run in the opposite direction.
Nami, Zoro and Luffy stared after them as they ran away.
"AHH!" Luffy suddenly yelled.
"What is it?" Zoro asked. Both him and Nami looked at him curiously.
"We better go buy some meat! Before the Butcher leaves town!" Luffy yelled
Chikai looked at him.
[He's got a point....] she thought.
Nami and Zoro sweatdropped.
Suddenly, something red caught Zoro's eye and he looked up.
"Hey. Luffy, it's that girl from just now." Zoro informed him, pointing up towards Chikai.
Luffy looked at him curiously before looking up.
"Hey! You're still there!" he exclaimed, jumping up.
Chikai looked down at them for a moment before turning away.
"I'd better get some dinner..." Chikai said to herself, completely ignoring them.
She walked up towards her canvas and began to pack up her art supplies.
Luffy looked at the girl's retreating back as it slowly disappeared, annoyed.
"That was rude..." he mumbled, pouting.
Nami shrugged.
"Maybe she's still mad at us." she said. Zoro nodded his head in agreement.
Luffy looked at his two comrades, confused.
"Huh? Why would she be mad at us?" Luffy asked.
Nami and Zoro sighed tiredly.
