Chapter 1- My name is Jessica

I was amazed, it was so amazing to see Zane win, but then again, he usually does, and then this girl, who shared my last name...which by the way, still creeped me out. But all good things must come to an end, and what i mean by that, is we had to go back to class.

The only subject i ended up missing was geometry, nothing too major, and then came...

Oh no!!! NOT MORE LAURENT

I had a total of 8 of my 10 classes with that egotiistical, intollerable, irresponsible, nut brained idiot Laurent.

I walked into class, one good thing about having advanced social studies, this is the one class i have with Zane

Before class started, i was sitting on zane's desk and talking to him

"hey cyber" i said, usually he's the one who flirts, but today i felt like being the dominant species in a relationship

"what's up?" he said

"nothing much, you?" i asked

"same as you,"zane sighed," something's up with that new girl Emma"

"what do you mean?" i asked confused about what he meant," she doesn't seem too bad"

"to you maybe," zane snapped

"hmm" i gave Zane a funny look, wondering if the snap was intentional or not

"Ugh, Sorry jess" he said to me, pulling me in for a hug, which i accepted

"no problem, but what are you talking about, are you saying she's not that nice" i asked

"the minute i beat her in that duel, she's hated my guts, i apologized and told her good match, but she's still as cold as snow" he said

"You know, first impressions can be deceiving, like remember when you met me, you thought i was going to be some blonde blunt fan girl, but i wasn't i was "unique" in your opinion, that's how we ended up dating." i remembered it really well

"yeah," he said hugging me really close to him

"First impressions are sometimes scary for the person who has to make them, give it time Zane, she'll come around i promise" i said hugging his arms

"yeah, your right" he said

"boo!" a voice said behind me that made me fall out of my chair

"ugh, Laurent," i said

"hey Baby" he said to me

"I'm not your baby Laurent, we've been through this before haven't we" i said, slowly getting more and more angry by the minute

"I really don't see why you date her Zane, she's such a slut" he said with a finger pointing to me, rigtht in between my eyes

"She's no slut, she's being pretty loyal to me, i'll say" Zane stood up for me alot, but this time i wanted to handle this situation myself

"ugh laurent" i yelled, i must have suprised both him and Zane, " i have had just about enough of your rude comments, your so caught up in your own head that maybe you don't realize that actual human beings have feelings, feelings like love and loathe, and to me Laurent you don't have that, no emotion no pity and especially no girlfriend"

"OK, THAT'S IT, I'M THROUGH WITH LISTENING TO YOUR BITCH'S TALK ZANE" Laurent yelled, i think i fnally hit a nerve for him

"noon" i said

"hmm?" Zane was entirely confused

"noon," i repeated, "meet me by the centerpoint of the obelisk blue dorm, we'll see who's bluffing now" i turned and walked back to my seat

Laurent had followed me, " very well," he said, " i never turn down the offer from a pretty girl like you"

"ugh, i'm dating Zane" i said, *ugh* i thought to myself*i've had it with him and his flirty mouth, he's gonna regret ever crossing paths with Jessica Lunrick*

Class had begun, and when it ended, Laurent and i headed for the centerpoint of the obelisk blue dorm

*Laurent* i thought to myself *prepare to be amazed, by your own loss*
