Cookie Crumbs (A Kankuro Love Story) ~Chapter One: New Friends

~~Tsuki's POV

You were walking around with Gaara, "So what do you like to do?"

Stare, stare, stare.

"That's good." you opened your locker and started getting ready for last period, "So where are you staying?"

"At some hotel."

"Oh. Well... You and the others could stay at my place. We have two spare rooms, because we have a big family, boys can sleep in one and girls in the o-"

"You do always talk this much?"

"Um... Gomen."

"Hey Tsuki!" Kiba ran up to you, he was breathing heavy.

"You look like a dog."

"Ha ha ha." he said sarcasticly, "Dude. There's a festival coming up!"

"No way! When!?"

"Saturday!"

You pouted, "Today's only Monday."

"So!?"

"Yeah I guess."

"So you gunna ask Kankuro."

You heard Gaara choke on his own spit and you smacked your forehead.

"Is that his br-"

"Yep." (Your face: -_-)

"You mean to tell me... You like... Kankuro."

You nodded slightly.

"My Ani, Kankuro."

You blushed and nodded. He just stared at you.

Stare st- "STOP!" you yelled, "The staring is freaking me out!"

.... Stare, stare, stare.

"Come on." you said in an angry voice and walked into the last class, computer with Jiraiya.

"Hello Tsuki-San." you sat next to Shino, Emi was on the other side of him.

"Hey Tsuki-Chan!"

"Konichiwaa Emi-Chan. How's your day been?" you asked as Gaara sat next to you.

"I learned a lot about beetles and stuff! Shino wants to be a bug person when he's older."

Shino remained quiet.

"Oh hey, Gaara-Nii-San!"

"Emi." he greeted.

"Alright kids!" Jiraiya sat at the front desk. You leaned over to Emi.

"Look out, he's a pervert." you warned.

Emi nodded.

~~Tenten's POV

"So Kankuro, what are your hobbies?" you asked.

Kankuro turned a little pink, "Mine are lame."

"You can tell me! I won't make fun of you!" you said, putting in the code for your locker.

"Well um..." he rubbed the back of his head and you leaned on the open locker door.

"I'll tell you mine. I do fencing and archery."

"Now I don't want to tell you even more! Those are just awesome hobbies!"

"Come on!" you urged.

Kankuro sighed, "I like puppets. I can make them talk, dance, anything really." he laughed nervously, "I used to hide it from my family... One day Gaara walked in on me, told Temari and they both laughed at me... So I don't really tell anyone." he said, looking down in defeat.

You stared at him in wonder, "That's awesome! I would love to be able to do that!"

"Really?"

"CHA!!!"

He smiled, "Cool... Hey, who's that?" he pointed to Kiba standing next to you, Neji, Emi, and Arashi, "And that?" he pointed at Arashi.

"That." you pointed at Kiba, "Is Tsuki's best guy friend." Kankuro looked a little upset and... jealous? You brushed it off, "And that's Tsuki's cousin." you said, pointing at Arashi.

"And all them?" he pointed at a picture of everyone you hang out with in middle school.

"Um... Sasuke, Tsuki, Ino, Sakura, Chouji, Shikamaru, Naruto, Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata, and Shino."

"I wish I had that many friends."

"Why don't you?"

"Eh... The paint and the puppets kind of scream 'FREAK' so, people tend to stay away."

"Well that's not cool!" you said, patting his back, "Not cool at all."
