-"WENCH GET UP!!!". screamed a voice, waking you from your peaceful slumber. Taken by surprise, you swing your hand out in front of you, and hear a loud slapping noise as your hand comes in contact with something. You sit up and rub your eyes. You look around confused,that is untill your gaze falls a few yards away to see Jaken swirly eyed, and upside-down against a tree. Looking above the fallen Jaken, you see a dent in the tree.'Wow...did i do that...hehe, oh well....bastard deserved it for calling me a wench,' you think to yourself smirking. Looking back at Kaiya and Jaken, you decided to make yourself known before Jaken got himself killed. Besides, we had to get walking. Rin is probably worried by now. Normal/Kaiya's P.O.V. You felt someone comming, and turned around to see Lord Sesshomaru. You stepped off Jaken, and looked at Sesshomaru curiously, wondering what he was going to say. You looked in your hand, and noticed that you still had the staff. You dropped it, and it"accidentally" hit Jaken in the head. You held back a laugh as he fell over eyes swirled again. Looking at Sesshomaru, you could see amusment in his eyes, and were surprised that you weren't going to get in trouble fortorcheringhis servant. -"Let's go," is all Lord Sesshomaru said as be began to walk down a path leading into the forest. You follow a few paces behind him, and looking back, you smile proudly as you see Jaken sway like a drunken person as he trys to walk
All of sudden your pushed out of your thoughts as you see a giant fireball coming right at you. You eyes widden, but you roll out of the way looking in the direction the fire was shot off from. There you see Jaken and a weird looking staff.'Holy shit,' you think as you see fire comming out of the staff. You duck out of the way, and run straight at Jaken, instincts taking over. His eyes buldge, and he gasps as you pull the staff out of his hands and look at it. He grab it, but you grab him by the back of the shirt and lift him off the ground.
-"Not so fast you imp...now tell me, how exactly did you do that." you say emotionlessly keeping him in the air, while at the same time,examining the staff. You tap the bottom of the staff against the ground, and fire shoots out.'Now that is sweet,' you think to yourself doing it again.
You drop Jaken not really caring about him anymore. He scrambles to get up, and trys to recover his staff. 'pssh, as if that's gonna happen,' you think to yourself holding it up far out of his reach. He then comes running right at you, and you simply stick out your foot, nailing him right in the middle of his forhead. You hold him down with your foot, and begin to speak.
-"Hn, it's what you get for trying to kill me you little imp....not so tough now are ya," you say pushing slightly harder on Jaken.
Sesshomaru's P.O.V.
You smirk as you see Kaiya pretty much torcher Jaken. He did deserve it considering the onna's rude awakening. Kaiya was a strange girl though. You had an idea that she wasn't an ordinary youkai either. Whether she believed you or not, she was a demon...a dog demon.
You had heard rumors some time ago that a young pup was sent into a different era simply for protection. It was said that she was born into the worst of the waring ages, and considering the territory that they were in, it was a smart choice. The couple died, but this girl was supposed to have more powers than that of a normal dog demon. Judging by Kaiya's story, and what you saw yesterday(healing herself), you had reason to believe that Kaiya was this fabled demon.
*HOURS LATER*
'WALK, WALK, IS THAT ALL THESE PEOPLE DO!!' you think to yourself as you feel your legs becoming weaker as you tread on. To your dismay, it's another 45min. untill you come to a clearing. "Finally," you sigh to yourself. Then you hear someone else.....
-"Mi'Lord, your back," yells a voice. 'That's the voice of a child,' you think as you step forward farther to see a little girl with a ponytail on the side of her head. You had always had a soft spot for children, and couldn't help but smile softly as you see her run and cling to Sesshomaru's leg. It was bearly noticable, but you could almost see his eyes soften even the slightest as he looked upon this young girl.

When she backs away from Sesshomaru, she notices your presence. She turns to you and smiles cutely.
-"Who's that over there, she's really pretty, can she travel with us,"the childsays seeming excited.
-"This is Kaiya, and yes Rin, she's going to travel with us from now on," answers Sesshomaru looking over at you. She runs up to you(like in the pic), and gives you a hug. Your eyes widden a little at the sudden affection.
-"Hi Lady Kaiya, my name's Rin. Do you want to play?" she says looking you hopefully in the eyes. You let out a small laugh at her cuteness, and look down at Rin.
-"Sure, what is it that you want to do?" you ask smiling down at the innocent young child.
-"I saw a field near here, do you want to go pick flowers!!"
-"Alright sounds like a plan," you reply as Rin takes your hand and pulls you towards a meadow with all types of flowers.
LATER
You and Rin have been having a great time, and you guys have really warmed up to eachother.
After making a few flower chains, you hear Rin begin to sing. She had told you that she loves to sing when Sesshomaru is off slaying demons.You listen carefully, and you actually like the song. It was so happy and carefree, just like Rin. Suddenly, you have an idea. You take your case off your back.(yes, you have been carying it with you) You open your case and take out your guitar while turning to Rin.
-"Kaiya, what's that?" asks a curious rin. (you told her not to adress you formally....and she told you the same)
-"It's a type of instrument that's popular where I'm from." you reply with a small smile. She nods in amazement as you pluck a few strings making sure it was in tune.
-"Hey Rin, do you want to sing that song with me while I play?" you ask turning towards her trying to think of some tabs that would go with the lyrics.
-"OF COURSE!!!" She replies jumping up and scooting closer to you.
You giggle at her antics. You guys go over who would sing what, and you guys revise the lyrics just a little. It wasn't really your style, but eh, doesn't really matter.
-"Ok, Rin, I'll start off playing, and when i nod to you, start sing alright," you say sweetly. She nods happily, and you see her smile widder as you begin to play. You nod to Rin, and the song begins........

You and Rin smile at eachother as you strum the last few chords. You put your guitar down, and Rin tackles you in a hug. You both lay down, and relax. Both of you drifting of into a light slumber, not knowing that a pair of golden eyes were watching you two all along.
