Best Of Both Worlds (Ashlee and Pete)

You got home late afternoon and then your phone rang. It was Pete. You answered happily.
"Hey baby," he siad.
"Hi wutssup?"
"I was wondering where you wanted to go eat tonight."
"Jay's Burger Joint," you said without even thinking.
"Where's that?" he asked.
"It just across the street from where Ash- I mean i had that cd signing."
"Is it any good?"
"It's great!" you exclaimed.
"Well then i guess we'll go there," he siad. "I'm on my way home right now. See you in a bit."
"Kay, bye."
"Lvoe you," he siad.
"Love you too," you said and hung up.
You dropped on the bed with a lovestruck sigh. Then a thought occured. He didn't really lvoe you. He loved Ashlee Simpson. He thought you were Ashlee. And what would he do after two weeks? Ashlee wouldn't be theAshlee he had sex with last night. She didn't even like him anymore. Shehad moved on to Nick. You bit your lip to keep from crying. You knew this was a bad idea. The doorbell rang and you ran to answer it. Nick stood there tall, dark, and handsome. You could feel yourself falling in love all over again. Then you realized he wasn't falling in love with you. He was falling in love with Ashley Burns. Not Ashlee Simpson. you smiled at him weakly and he smiled back concerned.
"Are you okay?" he asked
"yeah my brother just had me work out with him today and i'm sore."
"dont you work out wiht your bro everyday?"
"Yeah but this time it really hurt."
"well i have jsut the cure for that."
"What is it?" you asked standing on your tiptoeshoping for a kiss.
"This," he siad and pecked your lips. "And a dinner date at your favorite resturant."

"hahaha, very funny," he siad. "You and your jokes. " you bit your lip trinyg to remember what Ashley had said about food. Nothing was coming to mnd.
He opened your door and you slid in. Then he soon arrived at Jay's Burger Joint. This was the place Jake and Jessica would be.You gulped hoping your sister wouldn't recognize you. Quickly youput the glasses on and walked in wiht Nick.
"Ashley! How have youbeen!" Jay, the owner, said giving oyu a hug. "Been a whole week since you've beenhere."
"Well i was really busy at my dad's store," you lied. Ashley definitely lived a different life, you thought as helet you and Nick find your table.
