Best Of Both Worlds (Ashlee and Pete)

You tied your hiar in a meesy ponytail and grabbed Pete's hoodie instaed of the jacket in the pic. You slid it on and then walked to see Stacy. She was reading one of the tabliods in a magazine. It was about you and Pete. You could tell because there was a picture on the front of the two of you kissing last night.
"What does that say?" you asked.
"Oh, sorry, i thought you didn't like it when people read this kind of stuff."
"I know, but still. What does it say about me and Pete?"
"That you two are the couple of the year."
"Hey Stacy why don't you take the day off."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"Because it's my job to make sure you're on time with everyhting."
"Do ihave anything else planned today?"
"No, but-."
"Then go."
"But-."
"Stacy don't make me call the cops."
"Okay," she siadand left.
You let a sigh of relief and walked to the garage. You dug through Ashlee's purse and found the keys to her convertable. (FYI, idk if she has one or not but i just pictured her in one). You slid into the car and sped offto meet Jessica. You turned on her cd player in the car and listened to what she had. THeMissing Person, Pat Benatar, and more 80's rock music. You smiled and flipped through the radio stations.
Once you arrived at the resturdayJessica wasalready there inside waiting for you, Well, Ashlee at least.She stood up and waved at you.You smiled and walked up to her. She embraced you in a big hug and then sat down.
"Back to your punky ways, i see," she said.
"Yep."
"So how haveyou been?"
"Fine. How about you?"
"Well this one guy called me the other day. he said that he knew a friend of yours, Ashley.He siad his name was Jake." You smiled.
"Yeah i know him."
"Well he asked me out and idecided to go on a date with him."
"You know he's not famous, right?"
"Yeah but he sounded really hot on the phone. Is he?"
"Well he's more of like a brother to me so i don't see him in that way."
"Oh," Jessica saidand took achicken wing. "So how are you and Pete? I saw the latest tabloid. Accroding to Us Weekly you two are the couple of the year."
"Yeah he's really great. I mean he's so amazing!" you exclaimed lovestruck.
"I think my lil sis is in love!" Jessica teased. You blushed and took a sip of your soda.
"So when are you going on the date?" you asked trying to change the subject.
"Tonight."
CHARACTER CHANGE!
Youlay on the couch dead from the work out today. You didn't even have the strength to pick up your phone and cuss out Ashley, Instead you just pulled apillow over your face and groaned in pain. Jakelaughed picked you up with ease.
"Guesswho has a date tonight."
"Who?"
"Me!"
"With you?" you asked.
"Get this, Jessica Simpson!"
"What?" you shrieked jumping out of his arms.
"Yeah she agreed to meet a total stranger tonight at the local burger joint."
"Wow," was all what you could reply.Then you remembered your date.
"So i'm sorry you won't have me to keep you company."
"DOn't worry,Nick and I are chilling tonight. Which reminds me," you said pulling out your cellphone. "Hey Nick."
"Oh hi Ashley. So are we still on for tonight?"
"Of course."
"Great i'll pick you around eight. Gotta go your dad's looking at me funny."
"Bye," you said and hung up.
