The next day, I woke up alone. I was scared for a few seconds, until I saw a note by his bedstand.
I smirked as I read it.
This note read:
I blushed as I read the last two words. "Love you," I repeated, before getting up to change into my cloths which only took a few minutes.
After that was done, Ryuk came in with an apple. "They aren't downstairs?"
Ryuk shook his head 'no.'
"Do you know?"
A giant smirk grew on Ryuk's face. "It was bond to happen. You know that better than anyone."
I glared at him, "Yeah. Well I'm going out."
"To where?" Ryuk asked me.
"When do you care?"
He chuckled. "Maybe. Maybe not."
I walked downstairs and out the door with Ryuk floating from behind me. "Do you know what's going down in the realm?"
"Not exactly," Ryuk started, "only rumors. But they don't mean anything."
"True." I nodded agreeing with him.
It was only after a few blocks when I felt someone watching me. "Ryuk?"
"Yes, I know."
We kept walking.
"It's a man," Ryuk reported.
I stopped just to look around and then found the man who was following me. "Ryuzaki? But isn't he with Light?"
Ryuk chuckled. "Seems like Light's been lying to someone."
I glared up at Ryuk as I waved towards Ryuzaki. He waved back.
In just a few minutes, we were talking in his limo. "I need to discuss something with you," He said.
"Hm?" I gave off a confused look. "What about?"
"KIRA."
"What about KIRA?" Dramatic music starts to play.
"I have a suspecion that Light Yagami might be KIRA," Ryuzaki said.
"Why? Do you have any proof?" I felt something erupt in my chest and before I knew it I blacked out cringing on the seat.
"Her breathing has become irregular as well as her heartbeat," I heard a man said.
"Is she going to be ok?" A familar male voice asked.
Ryuzaki?
"I don't know, but I'm glad you got her here the time you did," The man said.
Then I heard two footsteps walking out of the room as a door shut behind them.
I heard a chuckle coming from the room. That chuckle could only becoming from one thing... Ryuk. What was he doing here? And why was he laughing?
My eyes flapped open as I saw my right hand inserted with IVs. "Ryuk?" I murmured.
"Aw, so you are alive," Ryuk chuckled. "Light will be surprised."
"What?" I tried to set up, but I only felt pain. "Ryuk, what's really going on?"
"You're father came to warn you about Light," He spoke.
"And why would I believe you?" I hissed.
"I never said you had to," Ryuk chuckled more. "But I'm glad to see you alive. Remember you're half human. It'll do you some good."
"Thanks for the support. I think," I growled. "Tell me what's going on."
Ryuk shrugged. "I don't know."
I was about to say something else when I heard the door open to Ryuzaki.
"I'm glad to see you up," He smiled over at me.
"Thanks to you," I smiled.
"It was nothing," He said. "You seemed to of had a heartattack."
A... HEARTATTACK. My world started to flip over and over again. I couldn't get my words out for Ryuzaki, but I knew my face explained everything. Ryuk as right and I knew I had no choice, but to give him up even if it really ment my life this time.
