I ran up into my room. All the lights were off, even my lava lamp. Which I always keep on. I turned on the ceeling light and Aki, Hanako, and Shizura were all sitting on my bed. "Umm...what are you guys doing in here?" I asked, turning on my lava lamp then turning off the ceeling light. "We wanna know how your date went." Hanako said. "It wasn't a date. It was..." Silence. "Okay, fine. I guess you could call it a date." I sat down on my bed.

"So...how was it?" Shizura asked. "Wait! Don't start without me." Lizz said, walking in and shutting the door. "Nothing special happened. We went to the movies, he fell asleep on my shoulder, I spun in a---" "What did you say?" Hanako asked. "What? We went to the movies?" "No, the other thing." "He, uh...fell asleep on my shoulder." I blushed. "Look, she's blushing!" Aki exclaimed pointing at me. I covered my face. "Ugh.." I mumbled. "I think she likes him. I tried to sleep on her shoulder once and she elbowed me in the stomach." Shizura said. "Well...no comment." I muttered, standing up. I walked over to the closet and shut the door. I changed into something more comfy then walked back out.

"Okay, continue." Lizz said. "Yeah...I spun in a revolving door and then puked. And yeah...then I came back home." I completed. "Good, you're getting along now." "Right, so that means I don't have to go out with him anymore?" I asked. "You only wish." I blushed. "Alright, so I told you people all that you wanted to know. So get the hell out." I said. "Geez, Kai." Aki said. They all left.

For the past few weeks, me and Kyo had been hanging out a lot. It was actually kind of fun to get to know him. I still wasn't sure of my feelings for him yet. But tonight, I figured out.

All of us had been hanging out. Going to the carnival and going to the arcade and going out to eat. And finally, we were back at home. "Hey, lets watch a movie." Aki said, sitting down on the floor. "Maybe some of us would like to sleep." I muttered, sitting down anyway. "No! You sleep too much. You and Kyo both." Huh? When did I get brought into this?" Kyo asked. "Yeah, and sleeping makes the world go round." I said. "Hey, shut up, the movie is starting." Lizz said, snuggling closer to Kaoru. They were getting kind of close lately.

The movie started ((which happened to The Nightmare Before Christmas)), and I hugged Kyo. He seemed to tense up a bit. "I'm sleepy." I whispered, leaning on his chest. He just blushed a little and stroked my hair. I smiled a little.

A few minutes later I was asleep and apparantly, so was Kyo. It was kind of distant but I heard Lizz saying "Awww." "Let's take a picture." Shizura said. She brought her camera over to us. "If you take a picture of us, I'll kill you." I mumbled. "Ah..maybe we should just bring them downstairs." Shizura suggested. "Okay, you get Kai and I'll get Kyo." Lizz said. "No, she's like 5'11", you get her." "Fine."

They carried our sleeping bodies down to the basement. "Oh, shit. There's only one bed down here." Lizz mumbled, trying not to wake us. "So what?" Lizz shrugged and put both of us in the small bed. Then they left.

Hours later, it began to storm. I had always been afraid of storms since I was five, and we were in total darkness. I screamed a little when I heard the thunder crack. I went a little closer to Kyo, hopping he wouldn't notice. I jolted a little when I saw the lightning and then heard the thunder shortly after.

Kyo put his arm over me and I tensed. "Relax. It's okay." I heard Kyo say. I blushed a little and went even closer to Kyo, feeling his body heat. Minutes later, I fell asleep.

It had been a long time since I had felt so safe with someone and comfortable around them. I knew, then that I had feelings for him and they were quite strong.
