An Alchemist's Story

Last time: Later when we were and Pinako's house Al was telling us what it was like to get his body back. Emmi kept staring at him. Ira kept staring at Ed. Soon we heard a knock on the door. Winry looked out the peep hole and told us it was the military. We all hid in the basement.

Emmi looked up and saw Al looking down blushing. She quickly looked the other direction and blushed. While she was turned away Al kissed her on the cheek. She looked over at him as he turned away and began to walk back twoards the house. As she walked off to follow him, she passed Ed who apperead to be going to his mother's grave.

Wrath landed on his face and looked up at Ed. "So they were telling the truth," Wrath mumbled. "What are you talking about?" Ed asked. Wrath smiled and dissapeared into the dark night. Ed turned around and looked at Ira.

"You saved me!" Ira exclaimed. Ed smiled. "I'm sure you could've helped yourself," He told her, begining to walk off. "Ed! Wait!" She exclaimed. Ed stoped and turned around. "Yeah?" He asked. "Um..." Ira looked to the ground and began to blush. Ed walked over to her and kissed her on the lips.

She looked up blushing madly to see Ed smiling. "I like you too," He told her.

The next morning me, Emmi, Ira, Libby, Ed, and Al were outside deciding what to do next, when we spotted Roy Riza and Twilight. "The military is still here brother!" Al exclaimed. Ed spun around and ran the other direction. We all followed him, and once we got to the river, we saw Breda, Falman, Havoc, and Fuery. Ed around and saw Roy, Riza, and Twilight coming twoards them.

"They have us cornered," Ed mumbled. He clapped his hands together and Breda, Falman, Havoc, and Fuery pointed guns twoards him. A wall apperead in front of them. Breda and Fuery went around one side and Havoc and Falman went around the other. By then Mustang, Riza, and Twilight had arrived.

"Fullmetal, you can make this easy on yourself. Just come back to central with us." Ed glared at them. "I told you Mustang, I quit." He told him. "We don't want to have to hurt you," Mustang said. Ed smirked. "Go ahead and try," He challenged. "Are you crazy?!" Emmi exclaimed. "Brother!" Al cried out. I wonder what he's doing... I thought.

Ed whispered something to Al, and Al nodded. They stood back-to-back and clapped their hands together. Ed made a canon facing Twilight, Roy, and Riza. Al made a canon facing Breda, Havoc, Falman, and Fuery. When the canons fired, everyone was able to dodge it, so no one got hurt. When the smoke cleared, me, Libby, Ed, Al, Emmi, and Ira were gone.

Mustang looked to his right and saw us running. "Twilight," He mumbled. "Yes sir?" She asked. "Follow them,"

"Think we're safe?" Ira asked Ed once we got a safe distance away. "With Mustang? Never," Ed responded. "It's starting to get late," Libby stated. I looked up. "It is," I said. "I'll make a fire," I told them. I clapped my hands together and put them on the ground next to a pile of wood. The wood caught on fire.

"Woah!" Ira exclaimed. "How'd you do that?" Libby and Emmi clapped. "It took me awhile to perfect that one," I said.

A little later we had some logs around the fire to sit on. There was three. One of them Ed and Ira were sitting together, another one Al and Emmi were sitting next to eachother, and another one me and Libby were sitting together. "How come Al and Ed aren't sitting by eachother... and I though Emmi and Ira were friends..." Libby whispered to me.

"I think that Emmi and Al like eachother, and so do Ed and Ira," I explained. "Oh," Libby said. Then she smiled. "How sweet."

The next morning we got ready to go. "Kristi," Ed said to me. I looked over at him. "Yeah?" I asked. "I need to talk to you," He said. "Okay... what about?" I asked.
