After her huge breakfast Katie was feeling a little better. Craig and Curie both made sure she was never alone. Which Katie was thankful for because when she was alone the pain would come back.
Katie was sitting on the couch watching some mindless show with Curie. Katie looked around and saw no Craig
"Hey where's Craig? the band's set doesn't start until 6 tonight" Katie asked. Curie shrugged
"I dunno, i saw him walk out the door about an hour ago. Maybe he's chilling with Jason or something" Curie replied. Katie glared at Curie, Curie looked back
"What's the look for? Jeez" Curie said.
"Or he could be looking for a certain guy with tattoos and black hair!" Katie exclaimed. It took a minute for Curie to get it, then she shot up out of her seat
"OH MY GOSH! CRAIG'S GOING TO KILL XANDER!" Curie screamed. Katie jumped up after her and they both ran outside.
The two searched around the venue for a while and still no Craig. Then Katie heard yelling, she and Curie jogged towards the sound. And sure enough there was Craig standing over a very scared looking Xander.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! You don't CHEAT ON SOMEONE LIKE KATIE!" Craig screamed at Xander. Katie walked over to the two and grabbed Craig's arm
"Craig stop it" she demanded. Craig shook her off
"No, I wanna know how this bastard could do something like that? What's your reason dumbass?!" Craig screamed. Katie huffed and jerked Craig back making his scrawny self stumbled back
"You better stop it before security comes and tows your ass away" Katie retorted. Craig looked at his best friend and sighed
"Yeah you're right...." He turned as if to leave then whipped around real fast when Xander wasn't looking and soccer punched him right in the nose. Xander yelped and covered his now bleeding nose with her hands.
"Dammit Craig!" Curie yelled. Craig looked at her with shock
"What?"
"You didn't do it right!" Curie walked over and did a high kick and wailed Xander in the balls with her combat boot. Xander screamed and fell to the ground now covering his croch.
"Ha! Now try screwing whores with smooshed balls!!" Curie screamed. Katie sighed and grabbed both of her trouble makers by the arms and jerked them towards the Chiodos bus. They both complained about how Katie needed to loosen her grip. But Katie did no such thing, whenever they did complain she only gripped their arms tighter.
Soon enough they reached the bus and Katie threw them on there and closed the door behind her.
"You freaking IDIOTS!" Katie screamed at them with her arms crossed. Craig and Curie both looked at her with wide eyes
"We were only standing up for you, Katie" Curie said. Katie glared at them
"I can do that by myself thank you! I'm not freaking helpless! Now stop picking fights that you don't have the right to pick! So just stay out of my situation with Xander or I'll be the one to soccer punch you and kick you in the croch!" Katie screamed and stomped outside.
Katie found a hill away from all the people and sat down watching the sun go down. Within 15 minutes someone sat down next to her, she looked over at Xander and scooted far away. The pain came back just looking at him, it started all over again. Her chest felt like it was about to explode and her eyes were already swelling up. Xander sighed
"Katie look-" he started
"Just don't Okay. Just leave me alone, i never want to see or talk to you again" Katie said softly. She stood up and turned to walk away, but Xander grabbed her arm
"Would you just listen to me" he demanded in a firm tone. Then she heard a
"Hey! Get your hands off her!" then Xander was tackled to the ground. Katie shook her head as she watched Matt and Pat beat wail on his face. Katie sighed and just didn't know what to do anymore. Luckily security came before some real damage was done, they pulled Matt and Pat off Xander. Xander looked at Katie with a pained look, not because he had just got done getting beat but emotional pain. Katie just looked away, she was glad he was hurting too. Security towed Matt and Pat back to their bus and left Katie with Xander. Katie helped him off the ground but as soon as he was up she turned and walked away. She was positive she was never going to look into his sea green eyes ever again.
Empty, is the sky before the sun wakes up. Empty, the eyes of animals in cages. Empty, the faced of women in morning, when everything has been taken from them. Me, don't ask me about empty.
