Chapter 22 : It takes only one second (DBSK and SUJU) Chapter 20 - no title
Recap: soon everything became dark, you couldn't see anything and the last thing you heard was everyone yelling your name........
you opened your eyes to see that you were in an unknown place. the room was white and there were blue curtains hanged on the windows, there were bunch of flowers around you with a few get well soon cards near them....and the more you looked around the more uncomfortable you became until you saw some one with their head laid down on your bed holding your hands that you came to realise what had happened and were you were..............it was Angela....
looking at her face you could tell how tiered she was. she had dark circles under her eyes, her hair was in a messy bun......which is something you have never seen before...... you didn't want to wake her up from her sleep but some how she woke up......
"HIKARI!!!!!!" she screamed and gave you a tight hug
"oh i'm so glad you are awake...." she said
"what happened? why am i here? how come you here?" you asked
"oh Hikari you don't remember what happened?" she asked with a worried look.....you simply shook your head and looked at her in confusion
"do you remember the day that we were going to go back to America?" she asked you
"yes" you replied
"good, then do you remember that all of super junior and DBSK was there to apologize to you?" she asked
"yes" you said
"well after a huge discussion and an argument you fainted so we brought you to the hospital and you have been sleeping for three days straight now" she said holding your hands
"..............do you know whats wrong with me?.......uh.....did the doctor tell you why it happened?" you asked Angela
".......n......no.i wanted him to tell me but he refused saying something about family.......he said that he can only talk to a family member or we have to wait till you wake up" she said
"oh...i.......see...............thank you Angela for staying with me and taking care of me....."you said and managed to give her a smile
"no problem...i'm glad you are okay now....i promised the nurse and the guys that i will tell them as soon as you wake up...so i'm going to do that now." she said to you. gave you a hug and left the room.
you wondered why you fainted all of the sudden....was it because you were tired? then why would you sleep for three days straight? none of this made sense...although Angela seem to think that this isn't too serious...you kept doubting it...
*knock* *knock**knock*
"come in" you said. and soon as you said that the door opened at there stood a tall man with a white coat and a stethoscope
"miss Kim how are you feeling today?" asked the person you figured out to be your doctor
"i'm doing well doctor and how are you?" you said
"well i can't complain" he said a gave you small smile
"okay miss Hikari...my name is Dr.Lee i'm going to do some check ups and then ask you a few questions...is that okay with you? or would you like to take a bit more rest?" he asked politely
"no i'm okay with it Doctor Lee, i think i had enough rest already" you replied with a smile
after the tests were done and the questions were answered he asked you

"miss Kim do you have any family that i can talk to?"
"no sir i don't have any family... it's just me" you replied
"my dear i'm not sure how to tell this to you................you....i.. miss Kim we have tested your blood and repeated every test but all of them gave us the same answer.........i.....i..i even sent the test results to some of the best hospitals in our country and abroad and......and.....they all came out positive...."he started to say as he stuttered. you knew something was wrong and you knew it wasn't something thing small..... you took a deep breath and said
"doctor Lee it's okay....i can handle what you have to tell me..... so don't worry about it and tell me" you politely said
"Miss Kim you have been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.."he said...after he said that one word stuck out from the rest it was the word Leukemia........
"Acute myeloid leukemia (AML)is a cancer. The symptoms of AML are caused by replacement of normal bone marrow with leukemic cells, resulting in a drop in red blood cells, platelets, and normal white blood cells. These symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, easy bruising and bleeding, and increased risk of infection. Although several risk factors for AML have been identified, the specific cause of AML remains unclear. As an acute leukemia, AML progresses rapidly and is typically fatal within weeks or months if left untreated.
"doctor?" you asked
"yes miss Kim?" he said
"how much time do i have in this world?" you asked still looking at the card
surprised at the way you phrased the question.."since your cancer is growing rapidly and faster than we expected, you approximately have a month or so" he said
"will i be able to sing during the time i have?" you asked
"yes Miss Kim you will be able to sing but i can't guarantee you that after two weeks though...your body will be too weak to handle all the stress" he simply said
"i guess i will get to see my parents again after a long seven year wait" you said while looking what was written in the card
"i'm sorry Miss Kim we will try our best but it would be wrong of me to get you hopes up" he said
"please don't be sorry Doctor Lee it's no one's fault......its simply life......some live long, while some barely get the chance to live.... some get all the happiness in the world while some suffer in loneliness.........its all part of life...right? i just have to face it...." you said finally looking up from the card and looked right into his eyes and smiled at him while holding back you tears............he gave you a tight hug and said
"i'm glad that i met you miss Kim" and he turned his back towards me and started to exit out of the door
"doctor Lee?" you said
"yes?" he said still facing the door
"please don't tell anyone about this.....i don't want them to bothered and treat me differently.......i want to live this month the way i did before................*he nodded his head in agreement*.......Thank you for all your hard work doctor Lee....i have donated my body for research...hope one day you will be able to find a cure and save some one else life with mine" you said and went back to reading the card that was in your hands as Dr. Lee left your room

yeah hikari we keep fighting over which team you are going to be in Eunhyk or mine hurry up so we can stop arguing and start playing m(^_^)m ~junsu

Angela's POV
after you told the nurse about hikari and saw the doctor go in her room youwent outside and texted all the guys at the phones
"what's taking them so long?" asked changmin
"i don't know. i've been waiting too...." as you waited pateintly the door finaly opened... you saw the doctor opening the door and saw tearsin his eye and suddenly he started to rub them.....
"doctor is everything okay?" you aked
"everything is a-okay you guys can go in, i just got something in my eye so i have to go wash them" he said without even looking up at as and was gone in a flash.
you opened the door and saw Hikari reading the card we made with a smile....and see her with that smile you knew everything was okay and that she was healthy..........

as soon as the doctor went out of the door in came Angela, Heechul, Kang-in,donghae, changmin, Jeajoong, Eunhyuk, junsu.......for a while they stood there just staring at you....and suddenly you hear
"one..........two................thr...." and kang-in comes running to you and gave you a hug
"YAHHH what the hell we agreed to go at three" screamed Heechul
"sshhh hyung we are in a hospital" said changmin
"you be quiet....just because we in a hospital it doesn't mean i can't hug my sister.......and you *points at kang-in* get off of her" said Heechul as he came towards me and gave one look at kang-in which made him let goof me and walk towards the others.......
"i'm so glad you are up and healthy....how are you feeling?"he asked you as he gave you a hug
"excellent" you lied
"so when can you leave the hospital?" asked junsu
"the doctor wanted me to stay tonight and he said i can go home tomorrow" you said
"home?" asked Eunhuyk
"yup home"
"which home?" asked Jaejoong
"uhh......my apartment.....where i lived with Rebecca...why...whats going on?" you asked
"so you are not going to America?" asked junsu excited
"oh....i remember......nope i decided to stay here............*looks at Angela* is that okay with you?" you asked
"yupi guess so...i'm going to stay here for another month with you just to make sure you won't be bullied by any of them again.....but as soon as it happens we are packing your bags Missy" Angela said
"that's never going to happen" said Donghae
"yeah i can't seem to really believe you guys anymore....i'm still trying to figure out why Hikari keeps forgiving you and standing up for you" said Angela
"just you watch Angela......i'm going to make sure you are going to regret those words one day" said Heechul and both started to argue again
"well anyhow Hikari how are you feeling?"asked Changmin
"i can't complain....heyguys do you guys want to play soccer with me day after tomorrow..and hang out if i remember correctly we have a little vacation then right?" you said to every ones surprise because that was the last thing in thier mind considering what hapened to hikari three days ago......
"you sure you can handle it" asked Junsu
"you should be the one that's worried junsu...." said Angela
"well then we have a game" said Eunhyuk......................................

i'm sorry it took so long to update but hopefully next chapter might be the last one and i will try to update soon as possible......i wanted this to be the last one but its way too long so yeah........i guess you all know what will happen to Hikari but there is still lots more to come......
i''m thinking of starting another fanfic. the lead male character this time is Jeajoong...and obviously *insert name of a girl* i'm not quite sure about this but i have an idea so lets see how this goes...........
