I rolled my eyes as a group of girls giggled at how hot Nick looked in his baseball uniform. None of them were even here to watch the game! I mean yeah Nick did look hot in his uniform but that wasn't the only reason I was here. Nick was my best friend and had been since I was about two and he was four. I was there to cheer him on, not to stare at his butt.
"Take a picture why don't you. It'll last you longer," I said and the whole group of giggle fitters turned to glare at me.
I rolled my eyes again and put my attention back to game taking place in front of me. Nick slid to home plate and I jumped up screaming. All the girls looked at me like I was crazy but Nick smiled at me. I smiled back and stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and did the same.
"You're friends with Nick?" one of the giggle fitters asked.
"Yep," I answered and walked away before I could make any new 'friends'.
"Emma," Nick said picking me up and twirling me around.
"You won! Ew, Nick you're all sweaty," I said and he laughed as he set me down, "I never said I cared."
"You'll never change will you?" he asked slightly amused.
"Not a chance," I said and he smiled.
"Good. Now come on, Frankie's going crazy because he hasn't seen you in about two days," Nick said rolling his eyes and I laughed.
"Are you sure that's not from spending to much time with Joe?" I asked and he pondered the thought.
"Probably both," he said and I laughed again, "Come on."
"Okie dokie smokie," I said and he rolled his eyes, "Nicholas Jerry Jonas did you just roll your eyes at me?!"
"No," he said innocently.
"Lier," I accused and pointed my finger at him.
"Finger pointer," he said.
"I am not, " I said then looked at my finger that was still pointed at him, "Oh."
"Come on lets just go," he laughed and we walked to our bikes.
"So hows it feel to be on the team that just won the High School Baseball City Championship? Wow, that's a mouth full," I said as I got on my bike.
"Pretty good. How's it feel to be in the presence of someone who's on the team that just won the High School Baseball City Championship? Wow, that is a mouth full," he said as we rode down the street.
"Feels like I'm in the presence of royalty," I said sarcastically.
"Emma did you just take a sarcastic tone with me?" he asked and I laughed.
"Maybe," I reponed innocently.
"Why am I friends with you again?" Nick asked.
"Because your life would be boring without me," I said as we rode onto his street.
"Nah, I have Joe to annoy me," he said and I gasped.
"So you wouldn't even miss me?" I asked in a fake hurt tone.
"Not a bit," he joked.
"Meanie! I'm telling Frankie!" I said jumping off of my bike and running towards the Jonas house.
"Oh no you don't," he said grabbing me around the waist.
"Nick!" I yelled and he covered my mouth with his hand.
I laughed and licked his hand.
"Emma that's disgusting," Nick complained wiping his hand on his pants.
"And that's why you don't put your hand over my mouth," I laughed and broke free of Nicks grasp, "Frankie your brothers being a meanie pants!"
"Emma!" I heard Frankie yelled and then he was hugging my legs.
"Frankster!" I yelled bending down to his height and hugging him.
"Oh this is to good!" I heard Joe yell from another room.
"What are Kevin and Joe up to?" Nick asked Frankie and he just shrugged.
"Only one way to find out," I said and we headed to where we heard them laughing.
"And there the two stars are now," Joe laughed and I looked at the TV screen.
"No! I thought I burned that tape!" I said looking at the home video of me and Nick from when I was five and he was seven.
"You burned your moms tape not our copy," Nick laughed.
"No! Must burn tape!" I yelled but Nick grabbed me before I could do anything.
"So what are you doing Emma?" my moms voice asked in the distance on the TV.
"I'm dancing," a five year old version of me said doing the most random dance moves you will ever see.
No, we're dancing," a seven year old Nick said walking onto the screen doing the robot.
"All three of you are dead meat!" a now version of me yelled as Nick sat down and pulled me onto his lap.
"Aww," Kevin and Joe teased and made kissy faces.
"You're lucky what I'm thinking is illegal of you'd be long gone by now," I said and they laughed, "That wasn't a joke."

"Nick where are you?" I asked as my phone kept ringing as I tried to call him.
"Hello?" Nicks voice asked over the phone.
"Nick, where are you?" I asked.
"Turn around," he laughed.
I turned around and let out a sigh when I saw Nick getting off of his bike. I hung up my phone and threw it back into my bag. Nick smiled at me and put his phone back into his pocket. He jogged over and gave me a hug. Now it was my turn to play in the City Championships, for softball, and I was so nervous I felt like I was going to puke.
"You okay? You look a little pale," he said looking at me and I gave a shaky laugh.
"Fine, just nervous," I admitted.
"You'll do fine. I've seen you play and I've seen these guys play there's no comparison what so ever," he said and I felt a little better.
"I still feel like I'm gonna blow chunks," I said and he backed away a bit.
"What? I don't want a repeat of Joe's 16th bithday party," he said and I laughed.
"Well you should have known better then to squeeze me tightly in a hug after I had six pieces of cake."
"I thought it was seven."
"Either way it was your fault."
"It was no-"
"Emma get over here! The games starting!" my coach yelled.
"Oh god," I said and walked over to my team.

This was it. My final pitch. If the batter from the other team hit this we lost and if not we won. They had two balls and two strikes. I swear I felt like I was going to die.
I looked over at Nick and he gave me the thumbs up. I threw the it and- ball. Damn it! I looked over at Nick again and saw him talking to one of the giggle fitters from his game yesterday. Anger filled my body and I used that for my last pitch.
"Three strikes you're out!" the umpire yelled and I smiled.
"You won!" Nick yelled running onto the field and twirling me around.
"Nick you're not suppose to be out here," I laughed as he set me down.
"No, I'm exactly where I'm suppose to be," he said and pressed his lips to mine. Right there and then in front of everyone! In front of the giggle fitters! But did I care? Not at all.
I love him and his adorable face in this picture!!!! This one goes out to nerdfather!!!!!
