"They call me many things; Diablo, Teufel, Lucifer," he paused, "Satan. But you can just call me Mephistopheles." he finished with an added smirk while looking in to your fear filled eyes. "Or I can just call you crazy. What makes you think I should believe you?" You asked with nothing but doubt in your voice. "Do you recall when you were eight years old, you were playing with your friends at school and you had a terrible fall and hit your head on concrete? But somehow you just got up and were on your merry way. Or that instance when you were 17 at that party and you OD'd while also having alcohol poisoning. You were rushed to the hospital and everyone didn't think you would make it. But what happened only after an hour you were emitted?" "I was released" you said in disbelief, finishing his sentence. "That’s right" he said with an evil grin on his face. "So it was you that kept me alive all those times?" you asked. "I guess you could say that and before you ask it is because your great grandmother was under my contract. A special contract only handed out to a few females in a lifetime." Mephistopheles replied. You just sat there in confusion while trying to take this all in. He then continued "Of course you are wondering what that is but the bigger question is what are you." "What the hell do you mean "what am I" I'm a human! I’m no different from any one else just because my mother and her mother and so on were under your contract!" you exclaimed. "I don't think you could be anymore wrong child." mephisto said annoyed. You fell silent for only a moment but long enough to hear what song was blaring through the building. 'Shout shout shout, Shout shout shout, Shout at the devil.' He must have liked it since he began to grin and say "Far out." "How ironic" he said with a smile while looking around your room. "Where are you going with all this? AND WHAT THE HELL AM I?!" You shouted at him, beginning to lose what little patience you had. "You may want to sit down" he sighed while shifting his weight on to the cane he had.
"About a hundred years ago there was an accident on a farm. Everything burned including all the animals, fields and even some workers. But a woman and her unborn child made it out alive. Unfortunately her husband perished in front of her so she began to weep and plead with her life to have him back. That lady, your great-grandmother, was willing to give up her soul to have him back. Instead of taking her soul I felt that she would serve another purpose. After her daughter, your grandmother, was born men began turning up dead. One night a man woke up from his very…pleasant dream only to find a woman in his bed, lying beneath him. Everyone back then believed in superstitions and killed her for what they feared she was. Your grandmother was then raised by her father and when she turned eight things started to get heated. Boys in her class would be very, very weak during times. Even some male teachers were experiencing some, uncomfortable thoughts. Her father then realized what was happening when he heard the news and decided to move to a more secluded area. Texas being that place. When your grandmother was only 17, she gave birth to her first son. Then two years later gave birth to a daughter, your mom. Like mother like daughter the same events began happening when she turned around nine. Along the way I had appeared before to explain a few things and how to keep your "family secret" from others. So when your mother turned 16 she was beginning to get the attention of all the men in town. Her mother knew if they didn't leave quickly a huge disaster would strike. So began the move back to California. I assume you know the rest" he finished while taking a look at your concentrated face. After taking or trying to take all this in you asked "So that explains while I went through puberty way earlier than most girls?" He just nodded a yes. You then began to blush when you realized what had happened to the men and what made them like that. The same thing had happened to you a few times. Then it clicked inside your mind. You knew what you were. You now knew why you felt so good and strong after having your "dreams." "Just to make sure I got things straight, I'm a...” "Yes, you are a succubus. The sensual yet deadly creature created by me thousands of years ago." Mephistopheles said finishing your sentence for you. "So my seventh grade English teacher, the mailman, the man from the hospital, that cop from today, and other random people were all my fault!" you exclaimed. "Actually that police officer was my fault" said a calm voice to your right. You didn't need to look over to see who was standing in the doorway to know it was the man you couldn't stop thinking about.
"Hello father" the man said while looking at the devil with disgust. "What good timing. I guess this is where I leave you. Veronica it's been nice and I will be back eventually." He said while walking out the door. "But I have another question" you said but he was already gone. You turned your attention to the guy you now knew as Blackheart only to see him smirking at you. You looked away from his eyes only to feel him staring at your body. He began to walk towards you but stopped when there was a knock on the door. "Look whoever you are, I got a client to attend to so you have to go" you said to him while trying not to sound nervous. "I don't think so" was his only reply. There was another knock on the door and you hurried over to get it. "Hey Vee here’s your money" said a tall, bulky security guard. "Thanks Bruce" you smiled at him while taking the envelope of money. He turned to leave but you stopped him. "Hey Bruce, do you know where my customer is?" you asked him. He just looked at you like you were crazy but laughed. "He is right there going through your outfit drawer" he laughed again then walked away. "How do your tits even fit in this" he said awe as he held up a bra. "What the fuck are you doing?! Are you sick or something?" You half screamed while running to grab it away from him but he just held it above you. "Look can I just give you your dance so you can go?" you offered him while sighing. "I was actually after something a bit more... interesting" Blackheart said. From the look of his face you feared what would come out of his mouth next. "What do you mean?" you asked him with a risen brow. "Five years ago I was after the contract of San Vanganza. With that contract and all the souls it possessed I could easily create a new hell. Instead that Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, fucked everything up and I was sent back to hell. Now I'm back again and ready to start over." He started to explain but you cut him off. "So why are you telling me-" but he then cut you off by saying "I am telling you this because unfortunately I need help. With all my Hidden gone I have nowhere else to turn." He finished while looking at you in the eye. You looked back at him. "What's in it for me?" you asked while opening your envelope of money. He stayed silent so you were forced to stop counting your money and look at him. "You are pretty ballsy to not be nervous or scared while talking to the son of the devil." He said trying to avoid my question. "Well I honestly don't think I have anything to be afraid of, now do I?" you replied growing bored. You went to grab your purse but you were pinned against the wall with Blackheart's cold, strong hand around your neck. "Listen here beautiful, I am in no mood to make a bargain with you. Either you help me or I make your life a living hell and you have no idea what I can do." He whispered harshly in your ear. "Now just think about that and I will return tomorrow. You still owe me that private dance" he said while letting go of you with smirk. You glared at his back while he walked out of the room to God knows where. You touched your neck where his hand had been and yelled in frustration. "Oh and one more thing" Blackheart said causing you to jump. He stood in the doorway enjoying your frightened face. "I want to thank you for the compliment earlier, but I must say I am far from being a god" he laughed then disappeared. The only thing that could process in your mind was *holy shit.*
