Bury Your Diamonds [Jason Hale] |25|
Chapter 1 : Bury Your Diamonds [Jason Hale] |25|
Brooklyn cracked her eyes open and focused in the darkness in the room. She could feel Jason's warm breath against her collarbone.
Everything at the moment seemed so peaceful. She hated to leave it. She slowly and gently slid from Jason's grip around her waist. He hardly moved as she slid from under his arm taking the sheet with her. She stared at him for a moment to make sure she didn't disrupt him too much.
She tiptoed quietly to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
The steam from the water quickly fogged up the mirror. She dropped the sheet just before sliding in under the warm water.
She hadn't really thought about how she was going to deal with Matt when she got home, she wasn't really that worried about it.
She probably should have done what she was planning before she left instead of dragging it out so long, but she didn't care anymore. She felt like she was becoming a new person.
The light in the bathroom went off as she rinsed the shampoo from her hair. She frowned, flicking it back on only to have it go out as quickly as it did the first time.
Brooklyn washed the shampoo from her hair and eyes. A pair of hands slid over her hips as lips kissed her shoulder. She quickly wiped her eyes and turned around to see Jason staring back at her.
"Hi." He smiled sweetly. If possible the dark blue colour shining in the skylight made him a little more handsome than he already was.
"Hi." Brooklyn replied as he connected their lips again and chills ran down her spine.
Brooklyn sat on Jason's bed, still wrapped in her towel as he lay on his stomach holding on to his pillow. She chuckled to herself at his slightly exposed backside.
"You keep leaving me." He mumbled.
"I'm cold." She smiled lightly searching for something to wear, clutching the towel tightly to her chest.
"I can keep you warm." He flipped on his back pulling the sheet up to his stomach he sat up.
Brooklyn narrowed her eyes at him as he smirked.
"There's gym shorts in the second drawer, I think I own one pair of sweat pants and they're in the bottom of it." He informed her. She found them and slid them on and found a shirt.
"Satisfied?" He asked as she pulled the towel out from under the shirt after she put it on.
"Yes." She nodded.
"Good, come here." He held out his arms.
Brooklyn crawled back in his bed and crashed between his arms. "I love you." She stated finally.
"I don't want you to go home." Jason pushed his head against Brooklyn's shoulder.
"To be honest, I don't really want to." She stated after thinking about it.
"Then stay, with me." He begged.
"I have to go home for just a little while. I'll be back in a few weeks, I promise." She smiled lightly, touching the only part of his red hair that wasn't wrapped into thick knots.
"We're starting warped tour next week." He wrapped his arms around her waist and held on like he didn't plan on letting her go.
"Then I'll come visit you." She suggested.
"No, I want you to come." He whined.
Brooklyn sighed heavily, she didn't want to have to part with him either; but she knew she needed to go home, considering she disappeared for a month, which was only suppose to be two weeks.
"I wish I could." She kissed his head.
"Why can't you?" He pulled back and stared at her.
"You guys don't want me there. I'll just be in the way." She shook her head.
"The only person we have to do merch is Teresa, we could use two." He informed her. "We can't just leave us where it is. That would suck."
Brooklyn chewed on her lip for a moment thinking.
"What about my cat?" She asked.
"Bring the little bastard." He demanded. Brooklyn stared off for a minute thinking about it. "Please?" He begged kissing her cheek. "Please, please, please."
"Okay." Brooklyn gave in.
Jason attacked her with a kiss, pushing her further down into Pat's couch.
"Hey Jase!" Someone called from the computer room. Jason parted his lips from Brooklyn's and stared at her for a minute with a smirk before giving her another quick kiss and jumping off the couch and running toward the voice.
Jen and Emily sat down on the couch as Brooklyn sat up they both stared at her.
"What?" She narrowed her eyes neither said anything. "Stop it." She rested her head on her hand and tried to focus her attention on something else.
"Oh, love!" Emily screamed throwing herself on Brooklyn's lap.
"You know, I really don't think I like either of you all that much." Brooklyn crossed her arms.
"You guys are cute." Jen informed her.
"Stop it." Brooklyn smiled looking away.
After a while things settled down, Craig went home. Matt and Andrea came over much later than expected; Brooklyn decided to stay her last night in Michigan at Jason's.
"I'm going to miss you." Jason pouted as Brooklyn climbed under his blankets.
"It's only two weeks." She reminded him.
"Two weeks too long." He kissed her.
"You're such a whiney little baby." She chuckled as he hugged her tightly. Jason quickly replied to her statement with another kiss.
After he pulled away he stared at her for a while. "You make me really happy."
Brooklyn smiled, she couldn't think of anything to reply with, so she just kissed him again; because she felt exactly the same way.
