Roses Bubble Bath

I arrived home soon after my mom called me, I ran to mu room to get ready to lunch while the house keeper took the vampires to the slaves room, it is a fairly big room, very simple, with gray walls, it is the room where all slaves sleep, there are lots of beds.




I arrived to my room and took the first dress I could find with matching shoes, I was waiting for Alexandre and Zara, the house keeper was supposed to give them acceptable clothes for their presentation to my parents.




After 5 minutes of waiting I hastened to the slaves wing through the heavily baroque decorated halls into the plain rock ones. Finally I was there, I opened the door only to find Alexandre crouching like a threatened animal in a protective stance in front of Zara, he was baring his small fangs, if they could be called that, to the other servants who looked scared to death, this was the first time we had vampires in the house

"What is going on in here?" I asked.

Alexandre didn't move at all he kept his gaze on the servants. I looked at the house keeper expectant.

"Miss, he won't let us get near him or her to get them ready". She said.

I rolled my eyes and walk straight it Alexandre, he hissed at me as I got near.

"Look, I don't have time for your vampire tantrum". I was answered with another hiss, he still wasn't looking at me, and he kept glaring at the others.

"OK, everyone out!" I said.

"But miss he is dangerous, wait for a guard to escort you" someone pleaded.

"There is no time, just do as I say".

They left the room. I walked to him, he was less tense now but still he held his ground. I took his hand and pulled, he didn't move an inch.

"Alexandre! Move it, we have no time for this!"

He seemed reluctant but followed holding Zara's hand. I lead them to a guest room.

"OK, Zara come with me please" I said holding her hand. Alexandre hissed ...Again!

"Stop it already! I am not going to hurt her OK?"

"Its OK, I'll be fine" Zara said to him.

"What do you want with her?" asked Alexandre.

I must admit I was surprised to hear his voice.

"I just need her to take a shower, that's all"

He let go of her and said nothing more.

I took her hand, we went into the bathroom and I prepared a hot bath with roses scent and bubbles. She giggled as she stepped in; the bubbles were covering her so I opened the door to allow the restless and already worrying vampire into the bathroom.

"Look Alexandre, they are so pretty!" Zara said joyfully playing with the bubbles. "And it smells wonderful"

For a brief second I saw him smile.

"Alexandre, I need you to have a shower too" I pointed at the shower on the other side of the bathroom and left the room to find some suitable clothes, the ones they were wearing were certainly going to the rubbish bin.

I got a nice white dress for Zara and jeans and a white shirt for him.

I stepped into the guest room and I heard both Zara and Alexandre's laughs, they sounded happy, I waited for a bit letting them enjoy the moment before knocking on the door. The laughter stopped and I felt guilty.

"Alexandre, I left clothes for both of you on the bed, dress promptly please, I’ll be waiting outside" and I left the room. I waited in the hall and ten minutes later the door opened.
