"Wait!" said Harry anxiously.

Melodie slowly turned around and met him in the eyes, then quickly looked down. She had to fight it with Harry for as long a she could. The scary thing was, she didn't normally have to fight...and it scared her.
Seeing with Harry was inescapeable. She couldn't understand why...

"We weren't properly introduced earlier," he pressed, determined for an excuse to talk to her. "I was the one who pulled you from the grate."

Melodie gave a nod that she realized could mean two things: "I know" and "Thanks".
Harry wouldn't understand...

"Will you at least tell me your name?" he asked in an exasperated tone.

Melodie sighed, "Please." She stared at the floor. She couldn't control it for much longer. Her fingers and toes were now twitching on their own accord.

"Excuse me?" asked Harry, playing dumb.

"You already know my name," murmured Melodie more audibly.

"No, I'm afraid I don't," Harry lied.

He's really asking for it...
Oh well, here goes everything...
Melodie looked into his glittering green eyes and said two words: "I'm Melodie."
Then, sure enough, it happened.

Melodie's vision zoomed up to focus solely on Harry's pupils. And in Harry's pupils, she saw their future together...

Melodie was sitting on an unidentifiable trunk in a big, warm room full of beds. Harry was right next to her, uncomfortably close.

"Melodie," he breathed into her ear, moving his hand from her shoulder to around her waist, holding her...trapping her.

"Harry, no," Melodie begged quietly, trying to squirm away from him. "You already have Ginny!"

"I don't want Ginny anymore," he replied, smiling a little. "I want you."

"Harry," she whispered urgently. "Don't ---"

But Harry's lips were already pressed forcefully to hers, pushing her back against the trunk...
The scene became misty. The Vision was over.

She flew backwards out of Harry's pupils and was currently in the present, not having missed a single milisecond. She gasped loudly at what she had Seen. Harry gave her a joking smile.

"Oh, come on," he laughed, touching her arm. "It didn't hurt to tell me your name."
Melodie looked again at the floor, terrified and confused. In the Vision, she had felt that Harry was her friend. She had felt betrayed.

So, this meant that Harry would undoubtedly become her friend.
Melodie had to let down her guard sooner or later; maybe she could inevitably stop Harry from kissing her... No, of course not. Her Visions always came true...
Could she avoid Harry and the kiss forever? She knew she couldn't, and it frustrated her...

"Erm..." Harry said, breaking her out of her reverie, "What are you thinking about so hard?"

"Nothing," squeaked Melodie's voice. It was rusty from lack of use. "Look, I've got to go."

She turned to go downstairs but, much to her annoyance, Harry stopped her again. Melodie gave him a very irritated glare.

"I just want to know what I did to you to make you hate me so much!" he demanded, imploring for forgiveness with his emerald eyes.
Melodie's heart softened. After all, it wasn't his fault...not yet, anyway...

"Nothing," Melodie admitted truthfully, heaving a heavy sigh. "Nothing yet."
Harry gave her a confused look.
"Show me around?" she added hurriedly.

"Sure!" Harry eagerly agreed.
Just as they conquered the last of the steps onto the main floor, Harry turned to Melodie.

"Why the change of heart?" he asked. "You seemed pretty scared of me only a minute ago---"

"Why do you ask so many questions?" she asked in a rather pained voice. Harry caught her tone and dropped the subject immediately.

"Right then..." he said awkwardly. "This is the front room..."

Thus, Harry proceded to give her a tour of the house. Melodie didn't say a word until they had finished the second floor.

"You know," mused Harry. "Ron really should be giving you this tour. It is, after all, his house. And he hasn't met you yet!" He sounded like a young boy who was waiting for his teacher to sit on a whoopee cushion. "Neither have Fred or George, but they're bound to turn up soon---"

"How many brothers does Ginny have?" Melodie gasped, unable to control her mingle curiosity and horror.

"Well," laughed Harry, "There're 7 Weasley kids total." Melodie gasped again. "But Bill, Charlie, and Percy've all moved out...So I suppose you should only worry about 4 kids."
Melodie shook off her surprise and promised herself to be silent for the rest of the day. She didn't want Harry to be too friendly with her...
