I heard hurried footsteps come up the stairs and into the room. I was curled up on the bed my eyes clamped shut my hands over my ears and I was half moaning half screaming "Get outta my head!" over and over again. I barely heard a soft woman's voice say "Skyler, Skyler honey. Open your eyes." I reluctantly opened my eyes and took my hands away from my ears. I looked around and I was in a bright white room. "Skyler, you have grown up well." the woman's voice said. I spun around and saw a man and a woman standing there, they were my parents! "Mommy? Daddy?" I asked. Yes, I still called them "Mommy" and "Daddy" but, give me a break they died when I was 7. I ran over to them and hugged them "You and Reno have grown up so much." My father said. "But, Reno blames himself for everything bad that has ever happened to you. Please remind him that he can't control everything and that people get hurt." My mother said. I looked at my parents again, my father looked alot like Reno only older, my mother and I looked like twins only she was taller and had a more womanly figure her hair wasn't firey red like mine but, more of a crimson brown, and wasn't as long and wild as mine. "Remember we love you and Reno so much and will always be watching over you." my mother said. "Now, Skyler wake up, wake up!" my father's voice faded into Reno's who was nearly shouting "Wake up! Skyler wake up!" "I saw... Mommy and Daddy..." I said faintly to Reno. "What? You saw who?" "Mom and Dad." I repeated. "What did they say?" he asked. "That they loved us and that it isn't your fault when I or anyone else gets hurt, people just get hurt sometimes." I said looking at him with my 'I-told-you-so' look in my eyes. "Why were you screaming 'Get outta my head!' over and over again?" Cloud asked. "That perverted jerk Fenrir." I spat. "Why does he like to mess with you so much?" Reno asked. "I don't know... but, he called me 'Jenova's heir' again..." I said "I wonder what that means..." "It means..." Cloud said.
