Chapter 6 : [[Here's to the Nights]]||6||[[Jack Barakat]]
Sorry it took forever. I'm in a hurry. FEEDBACK!
Kasey stared into Zack's eyes.
Zack stared into Kasey's eyes.
Their faces were inches apart.
She couldn't think straight.
His mind was on overdrive.
Before either of them could comprehend their actions, his lips were grazing hers.
He pressed lightly against her lips.
She returned the action.
They held that pose for a few moments, before they both broke apart in laughter.
"That was so wrong!" Zack laughed, wiping his lips.
"That was like kissing my-"
"Sister."
"No, brother. Unless there's something you're not telling me, Zack."
"Shut up," He smiled at her.
"Your lips are really soft."
"I like chap stick."
Kasey rose an eyebrow at him, but laughed it off.
"Let's not tell anyone about that," Zack smiled at her.
"Deal."

"Jack, what the hell is wrong with you?"
"Nothing, dude."
Alex sighed, "Fine. We need to go to sound check, anyways."
Kasey waved at all the boys as they left, except Jack.
She grabbed his arm, "Wait. Please."
"What?"
He was pretty annoyed at her.
"I wanted to talk to you, alone. Is that okay?"
"Make it fast."
She sighed, and stared up his tall figure and into his eyes.
"I don't understand what I've done to piss you off so bad."
"What?"
"Well, I mean. You're avoiding me, aren't you?"
"I-What?"
"So, you're not trying to avoid me?"
"Kasey, what are you talking about?"
"Look, Jack. I get it. You don't like me. Just telling me what I'm doing so wrong, so I can stop."
"Why don't you start by getting your life together and getting the hell out of our lives?"
Kasey's jaw dropped. "Excuse me?"
"You're screwing things up, Kasey."
"I beg your pardon, Jack. But what the hell am I screwing up?"
"Why don't you start by asking yourself who you're screwing?"
Kasey let out a small cough. "I'm not sleeping with anyone, Jack!"
"Bullshit. I saw you kissing Zack earlier."
Now, Kasey was just getting defensive. "So what? I kissed Zack! Big deal. That doesn't mean we're sleeping together."
"Please," Jack snorted.
"What? Are you jealous or something?"
Kasey glared hard at him.
"No, I just think you should know you're fucking up the band."
"How am I doing that? Hmm. Care to enlighten me, Jack?"
"No. I have to go to soundcheck."
"Okay, Fine. I've tried to reason with you. I don't know what I did to turn you against me suddenly, but go, Jack. Be the cocky son of a bitch that you are, and go. Without another word. And while you're at it, why don't you tell Zack I'll be naked in his bunk waiting for him when he gets back!"
Kasey didn't give Jack another chance to speak before she darted to the back room, slamming and locking the door behind her.
Jack rolled his eyes and mentally smacked himself.
He stormed off the bus, slamming the door behind him.

Kasey held the pillow against her small, fragile body as she sobbed hard.
She winced at the sound of the bus door being slammed, and sighed.
She tried to stop the tears, but it just wasn't working.
Jack's words hit her hard, like a brick in the back of the head.
Being known as a slut, for something she wasn't even doing, surely weren't her intientions.
She kept thinking back to what he said.
Why don't you start by getting your life together, and gettting the hell out of our lives?
She cringed at those words.
But she was going to do just that.
She was going to leave.
She threw the pillow on the floor, and stormed to the bunks.
She ripped her duffle bag out from under her bed, and started shoving all her clothes in them.
She opened another one of her bags, and started throwing her make up inside, along with anything else she could find of hers in the bathroom.
She was rushing around the bus like a mad person grabbing all of her things, and shoving them in random bags.
If Jack wanted her gone; she was leaving.

"Whoa. What the hell is going on here?"
Alex looked around the slightly messier than before bus, then eyed Kasey.
He noticed right away that her face was stained with tears.
She was throwing her stuff into bags, not even noticing that he was back.
She had to been working on this for a while, because her stuff had been thrown out everywhere, and the majority of it was packed up.
"Kasey." Alex stepped closer to her.
She jumped slightly seeing him. She wiped her face and stared at him.
"I'm getting the hell out of your lives," She said, harshly.
"Sit down," Alex grabbed her arms, forcing her to sit down beside him. "What's going on?"
"I'm leaving." Kasey said, firmly.
"Why?"
"Because Jack told me to."
"Wait, what?" Alex stared at her, dumbfounded.
"Yeah. He told me to get my life going, and get the hell out of ATL's."
"Why don't you start by telling me the whole story..?"
"I mean, really. What the hell is his problem with me?"
Alex went to speak, but she cut him off.
"What the hell did i do that was so bad. Why does he hate me? I kissed Zack. Big fucking deal."
"You kissed Zack?" Alex stared at her.
"What? No. You didn't hear that. I'm angry. I'm ranting. I'm a lair. I lied."
"When did you kiss Zack?"
Kasey sighed. If Alex was the only person to talk to, she was taking it. "Earlier. It was dumb. I mean, we laughed afterwards. It was.. wrong. I'm not even sure how it happend. Whatever. We both agreed it meant nothing and we'd never speak of it again."
"Oh." Alex nodded. "So then Jack told you to leave?"
"Well," Kasey sighed, moving a bag to the floor. "He saw us kiss, apparently. And he accused me of sleeping with Zack. Pretty much called me a flat out slut. He told me I was ripping your band apart, and that I should just leave."
"That doesn't sound like Jack at all."
"Oh, believe me. It was Jack."
"I can't believe he called you a slut. But don't listen to him, Kasey. He was just upset."
"Over what? What did I do that was so wrong, Alex?"
"I don't know." Alex shrugged. "Maybe he likes you."
"Oh yes. Calling me a slut is a sure sign of that."
"I've never seen him act like this. I'll talk to him, okay? So stop packing your stuff and go take a shower before Rian realizes you've been crying."
Kasey sighed. "Thanks, Alex. I think that's the closest thing we've ever come to a real conversation, aside from joking around."
"Eh, don't worry about it. And please, don't tell anyone I'm really a nice guy."
"No worries," Kasey rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna take a shower."
