I stretched as the sun hit my body. I was wearing shorts, so I could feel the warmth on my legs and my shirt was riding up as I stretched, so on my stomach too. Quinn looked back at me and I looked around innocently, waiting for the strangers next to us to say something.

As if on cue, the man called over "Aaah, you must be our new neighbors!"

Quinn smiled lightly and removed a hand on his back pocket, waving it slightly. "Uhm, hey. I'm Quinn." He explained.

"You the man of the house?" the man asked, walking over to the fence that separated the two gardens and leaning on it.

He chuckled "I guess you could say that, I'm the son. My moms out right now, she should be back later…"

The man nodded his head and turned to look at me, running his eyes up and down my body. I suddenly regretted coming out wearing what I was, and stepped behind Quinn slightly, hiding myself.

"This your sister?" the man asked, nodding his head towards me.

Quinn gave him a confused glance then looked back at me and shook his head "Oh, no. This is just my best friend, Lauren.." he explained.

The man nodded again and grinned at me, winking. My eyes grew wider and Quinn obviously saw because he turned to look at me then tilted his head at the door as to tell me to go inside, but just as I took a step inside the door the man started talking again.

"Well I'm Robert, but you kids can call me Robbie!" He sang.

Quinn sighed and turned to look at 'Robbie', forcing a smile. "Gre-"

"And this here is my gorgeous wife Lindsay." He cut Quinn off, grabbing the orange blonde beside him and slinging an arm around her "Isn't she a hottie?" he laughed, turning to her and shoving his tongue down her throat.

I screwed my face up in disgust and pulled on Quinn's arm, stepping more inside the house. He nodded with wide eyes and quickly ran past me and inside the house. I slammed the door before the weirdo's could say anymore and turned to look at Quinn who was laughing lightly.

"Talk about a freak show.." he mumbled, picking up his beer from before and downing the rest.

I smiled and nodded then turned to look out the window, watching as the boy leaning on the car, who had stayed silent throughout the whole conversation we just had, threw his cigarette to the ground and pushed himself onto his feet.

"Oooh, come on son!" Robert cried as the boy stalked past him. "Try at least be a little enthusiastic!"

The boy rolled his eyes as he charged up the steps and disappeared into his new home. "It'd rather die." He mumbled.

I chuckled slightly and turned around to face Quinn properly "The son seems like a ball of sunshine…" I mumbled sarcastically.

He grinned in response and shrugged his shoulders "What do you expect someone looking like that to be like?" he asked, his eyebrows raised.

I pouted my lips slightly "I'unno, but he's worse than you.." I muttered.

Quinn glared at me then got up and walked over. He grabbed the bottle of beer, that was meant to be mines, out of my hands and made a face at me before turning and walking out of the kitchen.

I grinned and skipped after him. "LET'S GO TALK TO THE BALL OF SUNSHINE!" I sang, standing in the door way of the front room as he sat down on the couch.

He screwed his face up at me and he opened the beer bottle "And why would I want to do that?" he asked, taking a swig.

I shrugged "Maybe he's actually really nice, just needs someone to bring him out of his shell.." I suggested.

"I don't think he has a shell Ren.." Quinn mumbled in response making me glare down at him.

"Everyone has a shell, okay…" I sighed "Now move it, we'll just go casually knock on the door and say we're there to have a coffee and chat."

"And I'll get left with retard Robbie and his bottle of orangeade whilst you go and chat up vamp boy, I can read you like a book Lauren…" Quinn mumbled, picking up the pen off of the coffee table and scribbling on the arm of the couch.

I growled and grabbed it off him, throwing it behind me and holding out my hands. "Come on Quinn!" I whined, stamping a foot on the ground.

He stared up at me and I looked down, pouting and giving him puppy eyes. "Quinnyyyy…" I sang.

He signed in defeat and grabbed my hands, pulling himself up to his feet. "Fine, but we're only in for 5 minutes and if at least one weird thing happens I'm outta there!" he argued as I pushed him towards the door.

I leant forward and pulled it open "Quinn will you shut the fuck up and walk!" I screamed then turned around, giving a small squeak. "Uhm, hi…" I mumbled.

The boy from next door raised an eyebrow at me then spoke. "Sup…"
