Personality: He tries to act cold and aloof to keep people at a distance, because he's afraid of what Tamekuro will do to them if they get too close and move into his heart. He's actually very kind and caring, though, and despite the stoic act he attempts, he's often seen helping complete strangers and not expecting anything in return. He's also extremely shy, although this does help the facade of standoffish-ness, and extremely innocent and naive. He places others' priorities and needs above all else, but often neglects his own value.
Past: Honestly, if I went into detail your head would explode. To keep from getting charged with murder, I've summed up the most important parts.
*Seems to have amnesia. Earliest memories are of standing outside a ruined village as a young child holding a strange forehead protector.
*Wandered around for awhile, was eventually taken in by a ninja village. As he was starting to become a part of the community, some sort of light spirit (later named Tamekuro) woke up inside him and slaughtered several of the friends he'd just made.
*The same thing happened several more times, each time Tameko getting a higher criminal rating. Suna eventually heard about him and, seeking to use him for their own military force, took him in under the facade of welcoming him with open arms.
*While living there, he met Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari. Recognizing Gaara as being like him, he tried to become friends, in the process developing a bit of a crush on Temari.
*The Kazekage, fearing what would happen to his plans with Sound if Tameko's efforts were to interfere with Gaara's utility as a tool, exiled him from the village.
*More wandering, with a few repeated attempts at living among people, all which ended in complete failure. Eventually Tameko found his way to Konoha, where he met the closest thing to acceptance he'd ever encountered, even going so far as to become a proper student in the ninja academy and take the Chuunin exams with a team.
*He happened to cross paths with Itachi and Kisame the day they entered the village, and, recognizing his potential, they extended an invitation for him to join Akatsuki, promising that their goals would allow him to seal away Tamekuro forever. He turned them down... for the time being.
*Time passed, and the incidents with Tamekuro trying to attack his friends continued. With each one, he was put under more and more careful watch.
*Right before the timeskip, Tameko goes missing.
*He shows up again two and a half years later, as a member of Akatsuki.
Ninjutsu abilities: Form of Light Jutsu (Hikari Kai no Jutsu): This is the move that Tameko uses to produce all his weapons. Using his kekkei genkai, he focuses light into the shape he wants, mixing it with his chakra to produce real, tangible objects out of light.
Sun's Blessing (Taiyou no Megumi): As with the Form of Light, Tameko focuses light into objects. With this jutsu, however, he can only use light from the sun. The solar energy is focused into two spots held on his back, which take the shape of two large, white wings. Along with flight, these can also be used to shield his body from attacks.
Sun's Curse (Taiyou no Jubaku): Using his wings to soar high above an opponent to be safe from the blast, Tameko fires off all the solar power that he's built up with the Sun's Blessing jutsu.
Light Doppleganger Jutsu (Hikari Bunshin no Jutsu): Another jutsu that materializes object through light, this is the Tenrai doppleganger move. Because they're made out of light, the clones are faster and stronger than regular ones, but he can only make a few at a time.
Light Travel Jutsu (Hikari Ryokou no Jutsu): This is the exact opposite of Form of Light in that it makes a real thing into light, not the other way around. Basically, Tameko is broken down to his molecules, still held together by his chakra, and is capable at travelling at... well... light-speed.
Angelic Arts: Angelic Rain (Tenshi no Gigei: Tenshi no Ame): Like the Sun's Curse, Angelic Rain can only be used when he is in the air. Essetially it's a simple combination of Sun's Blessing and Form of Light. Each individual feather begins to glow as it changes shape into that of a small blade, similar to a kunai. He then fires them off, instantly replacing the lost feathers with more. Unless the sun is extrememly bright, though, or he's been saving a lot of solar engery, this drains his chakra more than any other jutsu.
Angelic Arts: Angel's Kiss (Tenshi no Gigei: Tenshi no Seppun): The Tenrai clan's first members took note of the high risk involved in using such chakra consuming abilities, and developed this as a counter-measure to the blood loss caused by Blood to Chakra. It transfers red blood cells and plasma from the user's body into the body of another by a process similar to Blood to Chakra. Because of this, it cannot be used to heal the user.
Genjutsu abilities: Light Mirage Jutsu (Hikari Shinkirou no Jutsu): Probably the simplest of all his Kekkei Genkai, this jutsu only focuses light enough to produce illusions.
Angelic Arts: Angel's Dream (Tenshi no Gigei: Tenshimu): This genjutsu was developed as a countermeasure to the more powerful clans that used eye-based Kekkei Genkai, such as the Hyuuga and Uchiha. Chakra is spread more thinly than the Mirage, as it merely creates a blinding light. This is often included into other jutsus as well.
Taijutsu abilities: Angelic Arts: Angelic Combo (Tenshi no Gigei: Tenshi no Rendan): As his only taijutsu, Angelic combo is about as flexible as they come. There's a loose pattern that he always follows involving a low, sweeping kick to unbalance the enemy followed directly after by a high one as his body comes around full-circle. What signifies the Angelic Combo are the telltale bursts of light he puts off after every hit. They're usually more to dazzle and stun they enemy, but he can pump in enough chakra to make them cause physical damage if he chooses.

Weapon abilities: Very few, if any
Other abilities: The unnamed bloodline passed down to Tameko is nothing like what one would expect from a ninja clan. Rather than give its members some superhuman ability, it actually causes them to have dangerously low natural chakra levels. However, this mutation to their DNA allows for incorporation of spiritual bodies into their chakra system. As such, spirits of light were sealed inside select Tenrai clan members in a process similar to creating Jinchuuriki, providing for two abilities. The first is that the individual bearing the spirit has their chakra element forcefully aligned to "light," allowing for the bending and distorting of light in their surroundings, essentially the capability to weave light into their jutsu. Also, it allows them to convert a portion of their own blood to chakra should their normal reserves run out, but needless to say this can prove dangerous to the user if abused. Because Tameko's seal was incomplete and has become corrupted, the spirit inside of him, Tamekuro, is also capable of occasionally taking control of his body. As with Jinchuuriki, this provides a great boost of strength, but with severe consequences.

Opinions on...
Naruto: We're so similar, yet so different... Even though he has all these friends now, he started out alone, just like me... I want to reach out and grab ahold of some of that happiness, even if it's just a tiny glimmer, for myself... But I don't want to shatter what he's worked so hard to gain... Can I ever become like him...? If I did, would anyone want me...?
Sasuke: He doesn't seem to like me... Even moreso since he can't use his Sharingan against my light-based jutsu... I heard that he's alone as well, but the darkness surrounding him seems to be of a different nature than that which I'm submerged in... I feel like... if I try to touch him, I'll be bitten by a snake that's lurking in the shadows...
Sakura: Although she and Ino don't get along very well, I know she's a good person... I mean, she even trusted me to deliver that love letter to the right person! But... I screwed it up and gave it to Naruto instead of Sasuke... Somehow, I'm still amazed that she doesn't hate me for doing that...
Kakashi: N-not that.. I should be talking about others' reliability, but I sort of get the feeling he's less dependable than a teacher should be... I mean, is it really okay for an adult to challenge a student to a match like he did with me that one time...? Maybe it's just because I'm not one of his students, though, since I don't really know him all that well...
Neji: I think he looks down on me because I'm friends with Hinata ((Moi again: Goddamnit I hate that stupid bitch whydaya haveta be friends with her?!?! D=< ))... If I ever get the chance, I'd like to show him how we're really not all that different... I mean... Neither of us asked to be born into the destiny that's been chosen for us... Oh, and, although he's not as bad as Sasuke, I think the fact that he can't use the Byakugan against me makes him want to fight all the more...
Lee: Supposedly true warriors can become friends just by exchanging blows, but I still don't know him very well... It's weird, we're exact opposites - he only knows taijutsu and I specialize solely in ninjutsu - yet when the time on our battle ended it was still a total stalemate...
Tenten: I wish she'd think of me as more than just a sparring partner... >.< But... now that I think about it... Because of Tamekuro, it probably is better that we're not closer...
Gai: From what I've seen, I'm glad I wasn't assigned to him... I don't think I'm strong enough... I mean, those horror stories of him making his students run 50,000 laps on Konoha while blindfolded AND walking on their hands are nothing compared to what he actually puts them through...
Shikamaru: Even though he's on the same team as Chouji and Ino, we really haven't talked much... They both say he's really lazy, but I'm afraid I might insult him by making a judgement before I've got enough evidence to decide on my own...
Chouji: He shares his food with me! ^_^ If he's ever hurt by Tamekuro... That's something I'll never be able to forgive myself for...
Ino: She's the first friend I made when I came to Konoha, so she's special to me... Although, I don't think she feels the same... It's sort of an embarrasing story, but... A few days after I had moved there, since the smell of flowers calms Tamekuro down, I wanted to plant a little garden in front of my house. So... I was told that her family's flower shop would be a good place to go. But when I put what I wanted up to buy, Ino, who was cashier at the time, asked me if they were for a... a... BOY I liked!!! T_T So even though we are close, I'm pretty sure she still sees me more as a girl than a guy...
Asuma: I'm afraid I don't know anything about him... I really hate the smell of his cigarettes, though... Tamekuro does too, so I try to stay away and can't talk to Ino or Chouji while he's around...
Kiba: W-where?! O_O Ever since I beat him that one time, he's been challenging me to rematches whenever he gets the chance! I think I'm gonna die just from running away all the time! T____T He watches out for Hinata though, so he can't be so bad, right...? She seems to look up to him a lot too...

Anko: Um, well... o////o That is, um... N-no, I can tell you what I think, don't worry... Um, well... I guess I should just start from the beginning. During the time between becoming a Chuunin and leaving Konoha, when more and more bad things kept happening with Tamekuro and I was put under increased watch, she was one of the people ordered to keep an eye on me... I don't remember how exactly it started - I think maybe she caught sight of the seal I've got on my right hand, but one day she approached me and struck up a conversation instead of just hiding out and watching as all the others had done... Um, so, well... It turned out that our pasts are actually a lot alike, and I guess... things just went on from there. ^^;; But... Tsunade, or someone higher up found out that Anko wasn't remaining a passive observer like she was supposed to, and she got switched for someone else... I never got to see her again before I left the village... I wonder if she still thinks about me...?
Third Hokage: Even though in the end it turned out to be a mistake because of how I betrayed their Will of Fire, he was willing to let me into Konoha despite how many villages I'd murdered people in... He did so much for me with that single gesture... I don't think it's something I could have ever achieved, but I really, truly would have liked to be able to repay his kindness before he died...
Forth Hokage: Um... why was everyone surprised he was Naruto's dad? o.o I mean, wasn't it... Well... Anyway, I obviously wasn't alive when he was, so... At the very least I can say I understand how much of a hero he was, and how his legacy is fundamental to the Konoha I knew... In the past that's been blotted out and kept from me... Did I have a hero like that...?
Gaara: I hope he's okay... There was nothing I could do for him while I was living in Suna, so I can understand if he hates me for leaving without saying goodbye... It seems like whenever there's someone who needs me, I always manage to fail them...
Kankuro: I know he acted tough all the time, but he had to to protect his younger brother... Heh, I bet he hasn't changed since that time I was together with them... Sorta makes me wonder if he still plays with those freaky dolls, though...
Temari: I... um.... anno... When... whenever I think about her... my heart seems to skip a beat...
Pein: Why are there so many of him?! @_@ I never know which one I'm supposed to be taking orders from! I know it's really rude of me, but I can't help looking away whenever I see his (their?) face... All those piercings are just too much for me...
Konan: I once made a joke about how many origami butterflies it takes to change a lightbulb... I still think she hasn't forgiven me for it... But... even with that, she's still taught me a little bit of origami... Truth be told, I don't think she's patient enough to make a good teacher... ^^;;
Itachi: Does he even know I exist? Aside from that one time when he invited me to join, it's like he's blind to my existence... ((LMFAO he said BLIND!!! XD)) Wh-what, what's so funny about that? Kisame: He may looks scary, but he's actually much nicer than the other members of Akatsuki. He can be really vicious too, though... During these times I try to stay away from him... Actually, I really try to avoid him most of the time, since Samehada causes Tamekuro to act up...
Zetsu: I can never tell which half I'm supposed to be talking to... #_# He's really helpful with the new garden I'm raising, since... y'know, when I left Konoha, the one there... ^^;; Well anyway, he gives me really good advice, but I've got a sneaking suspicion he's really in league with Kakuzu, since he always reccomends the most expensive fertilizer that only Kakuzu sells... >_>
Sasori: I really miss him... He never showed it, so this may just be wishful thinking on my part, but I think he was... a little happy to have me around... Ever since he learned that I'd lived in the village he came from and had a bit of experience with chakra puppets, he's seemed to take a bit of interest in me... At least, moreso than the others...
Deidara: I think he dislikes the fact that I looked up to Sasori... Their relationship was... well... complicated. Because of that, I haven't had many chances to get an impression of what he's like...
Tobi: He doesn't seem to fit in Akatsuki at all. I get the feeling there's much more to him than meets the eye... Maybe it's not just an act, but I'm not letting my guard down around him... Whenever that mask comes off and whatever secret is revealed to be behind it... I'll be ready.
Hidan: Very scary person... I know that's not much, but to be quite honest, I don't want to have the sort of opportunity that would allow me to get to know him better...
