“KYLE!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP!” I yelled in Kyle's ear the next morning when he was the only one asleep.
He jumped up fast.
“NOOO!!!!!!! DON'T KISS HIM KISH! I LOVE YOU!”
“Er, I'm right here Kyle.”
“What? Oh damn.”
“All I heard was KISH! I LOVE YOU!” Josh said walking in and laughing. “Do I wanna know what you're doing?”
“He was asleep. Dreaming,” I explained.
“Ahh. You okay man?” he asked.
“Yeah. Fine. Just.. Embarrassed,” Kyle said, bright red.
“Okay. Well we have to leave in thirty minutes to catch the plane.”
I got up, got dressed and did my hair/make-up.
I heard Kyle in the shower and I laughed. He was singing.
I smiled to myself. He's so cute.
I ran downstairs and loaded some stuff into the Escalade.
“Josh?”
“Yeah Kish?”
“Thanks.”
“For what?”
“Everything. You've always been there for me no matter what. You're a great friend. I don't know what I'd do without you,” I confessed.
“Aw, Kish. You're the freaking best! I'd never leave you! No matter what! Don't worry!” he said.
I smiled. I was so glad I had him.
I saw a red car pull up.
“Keyden!!!” Josh said running towards the girl.
They hugged.
I looked at her. She had blond scene hair, um snake bites. Pretty okay looking.
“Kish! This is my home girl Keyden. Ex girl. Best friend.”
I looked her up and down.
Black dress and skull necklace hanging on her snake bites.
“Er, hello? I'm Josh's best friend for life. He's my home dog. No matter what,” I told her.
“That's incorrect, because I'm his best friend. Cant you hear?”
I was getting pissed now.
“Ladies, ladies. No need to fight. There's enough for me for the both of ya,” he said.
I turned my back and walked towards the house.
“So Josh, when are we leaving?!” I heard her ask.
“Oh hell no. She's going too?” I asked.
“Totally. You fo shiz with that?” he asked.
“No.”
“Too bad. I'm going. So get over it and deal.” Keyden said.
I lunged at her.
She backed off.
Josh grabbed my shoulder.
“Be right back Key,” he said.
He took me over by the house.
“Kish, what's your problem?” he asked.
“I don't like her.”
“So? I did! I still do! Chill out!”
I turned away and walked inside.
“Sorry about that!” I heard him say.
I walked over by Kyle.
“Hey babe.”
“Hi. I hate Keyden.”
“Who?” he asked.
I pointed towards the window.
He studied her.
“She's hot.”
I turned around and walked towards the stairs.
“Kish. I didn't mean that. Kish I'm sorry!” I heard him yell after me.
I ran to Kyle's bed room and cried into the pillow.
I heard him walk in and sit by me.
Or so I thought it was him.
“Kish. Stop wasting your time on Josh. He doesn't like you okay? He's into me. Not you. Never you. Same for your little boyfriend too. He likes me alright?” I heard Keyden say.
I sat up and tackled her off the bed.
I grabbed her fake hair and slammed her head into the floor. I let go of it long enough to slap her face around. I grabbed her hair and forced her head into the floor. I heard running on the stairs but I didn't care. I kept on punching her fake face in. I was determined to make her swallow her teeth for what she said.
“TAKE IT BACK!” I screamed.
“KISH! STOP IT!!”
“TAKE BACK THOSE DAMN WORDS YOU SLUT!”
She pushed me off her and got on top of me.
“NO!” she screamed.
I reached up and scratched her eyes.
“Kish! How the fuck could you?!” I heard Josh say.
“Josh! You should've heard what she said!”
“Couldn't of been bad enough for dis!”
“It was Josh!” I said getting up and brushing off.
“Josh! She's lying! I said nothing!” Keyden said running up and clinging to Josh.
“Go fucking die,” I told both of them. “And to think you we're my best friend.”
He glared at me as I walked by.
I ran to Aubrey while she was packing.
“Josh hates me, Kyle wants that Keyden chick... I don't know what my life's turning to,” I told her.
“Keyden? Oh god I hate her.”
“I know!! Kyle's all like 'She's hot!' and Josh likes her so when he saw me scratching her eyes out, he flipped out. I'm screwed. I still got you right?” I asked.
“Totally Kish. We can kick her ass to Canada! Along with Lacy and Sean and Bonnie,” she said smiling.
“Totally,” I said high-fiving her.
We kept packing. I was packing Kyle's bag when I saw him walking towards me. I set it down and looked at him.
“Look. I'm sorry, but I heard what happened. You're such a bitch. I cant believe you'd say that!”
“What the hell? Said what?” I asked.
“That I'm not good enough for you. That you're just using me.”
“Kyle! You know me better than that!!!!”
“Thought I did.”
“Kyle! I fucking love you!!!” I screamed.
He looked at me weird.
“What?”
“I FUCKING LOVE YOU!!!!”
“So you never said...-”
“I never said any of that. None. That chick wannabe thing said you were into her. She was saying that Josh and you were both into her and never me. So I kicked her ass.”
“Oh. Really?”
“YES! I would never lie to you. Never in a million years. I love you. Always have. Always will. I would never use you. And you deserve so much better than anything I can give to you. I gave you my heart because its all I can give you. You deserve so much better than me,” I told him.
“Kish..,” he said grabbing me into a hug. “We better go tell Josh.”
“He's pissed at me,” I said into his hair.
“Oh well. He can get over it.”
I smiled.
“I'm so sorry Kish.,” he told me.
“It's fine.”
He grabbed my hand and we walked in towards Josh.
“Dude, come here. Now!” Kyle demanded.
We explained everything to Josh. I told him everything. The whole truth and nothing but the truth.
“So, like, none of the stuff she said was true?” he asked.
“Nah man.”
“Damn. I trusted her too.”
“We all make mistakes.”
“I don't think I'm going to take her.”
“No go ahead. Let her have a bitching time,” I said with a gleam in my eyes.
Major bitch revenge ahead.
“I like what you're thinking. But we better go. Flight leaves in twenty minutes. We have ten to get there. We better go. Like now,” Josh said.
So we all piled into the car and left.
“Turn on 101.7!!” I said.
They turned it on. I screamed the lyrics to Rise Above This by Seether.
I loved that song.
I screamed the lyrics to Revenge Is Sweeter(Than You Ever Were) by The Veronicas too.
It was the next song. It was great.
Kyle just smiled the whole time and Keyden had an annoyed look on her face the whole time.
I LOVED IT!
“Are you even listening when I talk to you? Do you even care, what I'm going through? Your eyes stare, they're staring right through me. Your right there but its like you never even knew me. Do you even know how much it hurt, when you gave up on me to be with her? Revenge is sweeter than you ever were. Revenge is sweeter than you ever were,” I sang, or screamed.
“You shutting up would be sweet!” Keyden said.
I ignored her.
“You're not very nice, Keyden!” Aubrey said.
“Never said I was?”
“You on the rag?” Kyle asked as we pulled into the Airport.
“Way-hey! We're here!!” I yelled.
“Totally!!” Josh said.
We ran into the airport and boarded the plane.
I sat next to the window and Kyle, then Aubrey, and Josh and Keyden in the row over.
“Hmm, I love planes. But I should put my phone on Airplane mode. I wonder if I'll have service over there?” I asked myself.
“Maybe. If you have the right service,” Kyle said kissing my cheek.
I held onto his hand, laid on his shoulder and awaited departure.
These next few days will be great. No dad, no mom, no problems.
