So the first Zetsu one-shot I made was hard. Super hard, but now that I got the hang of it this one went smoothly. Thank God. I guess once you break the window there’s no problem with getting into the house. Same concept. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, I like this. No worries from me, but, that’s probably when someone’ll hate it. Haha, oh well. Enjoy dears!

Warning: Okay.. Uhm… I suppose I went a little overboard with the weird… But I wanted to kind of show the Zetsu thing you know, his man-eating desires and whatnot… So… I’m not some sick freak or anything, I just wanted to capture that character y’know? So if weird make-out scenes aren’t your thing, just don’t read the ending. That part is in italic so you can tell where to stop if you want to, I won’t get hurt.

They had left it so fresh, he had been lucky enough to have been so close. He could almost smell the sticky, liquid warmth as it splattered artistically against the cool dirt. It had attracted him, the metallic aroma drifting to him through the wind. Yes, nature had always been his only friend.

One of his fellow members, Kakuzu, had been trailing a bounty, his love of money so strong he was willing to kill, and had tailed the man into the forest, finishing him off rather quickly. Initially he left the body to rot, such a man massacred like he had been would be no where near identification. If someone actually found him that is. But Zetsu had been close, and had reached the corpse just as Kakuzu was turning to leave. Not words had been shared, the stitched man had only turned and glanced at his leafy team member before raising and eyebrow and walking off, wager to receive the mans bounty.

This find set both sides of the leafy man’s persona in good graces, neither one even taking the time to argue which part they should devourer first. No, he had been left relatively unscathed, aside from the unrecognizable face, but Zetsu didn’t mind that, the face was much to hard to digest, so he had removed them from his diet.

The two-tones man crouched down beside the dead man, licking his lips as his eyes scanned his meal hungrily, his eyes stopping at the ribcage, arm reaching down to sink his sharp nails into the soft flesh and fish out something delectable.

His hand was just touching the soft flesh when he heard it, a beautiful soothing sound rushing through his ears. It flowed melodically around in the air, the tune never wavering as the tempo pranced around him. He had never heard anything like it before, it sounded as sweet as the freshly strewn blood would taste on his lips. The arpeggio tough yet soothing just like the tender meat under the rib cage, where the taste held the most flavor. It was soothing, like the feeling he got many times after a tasteful meal, when the substance was still running warm within him. It fed his ears like nothing else had, it was calling to him, and he could faintly hear the singing of the plants around him as they too listened to the hypnotizing sound.

What is that sound?

We don’t know. Let us find out.

The man can wait.

Yes, we will eat later. This sound… It’s-

Appatizing!

Yes, appetizing! Let us try such a treat!

It sounds so delicious!

Much better than that filth Kakuzu left for us.

Must not let it go to waste though.

We will come back for it. But first-

We must find it. Find it and taste it.

Yes, I can almost taste it now!

The man looked away from the bloody corpse, his eyes closing and his body molding into the fabric of a nearby tree, following the sound ruthlessly through the forest. The colors of the woodland began to blend together in a darkened array of blacks and grays, all unnoticed by the man who seemed to be just as dark as the nightlife. All he could focus on was the sound.

It became increasingly louder, the sound sending him into an unconscious abstraction, suddenly able to see the sound in his mind, a picture painted in his mind of the most stupendous images he’s ever seen. Colors swirled around in his mind, blocking his eyes from any other vision he might behold.

It was an hour before he came to the source of the magical sound, his head fully cleared, the song the trees sang around him loud and many as he morphed back into his own self and began walking near the music. When he broke from the mess of trees and into a clearing that showed a small lake muddled with a series of large rocks he stopped to stare. There, sitting on a big rock was a maiden, with long, flowing violet hair that flurried against the wind in a wave-like manner, waving around like and ocean current about her head. Her skin was fair, and her eyes closed, her pink lips pressed lightly to a flute, her long fingers moving to create a wonderful tune through the air, one that the forest was singing along with.

As if she could sense him the song came to a close, her eyes opening to reveal sparkling emerald orbs of wonder, staring at him without fear. She lowered her flute soon after, letting it lay in her lap as they stared at one another. Thoughts ran through Zetsu’s head as a wind blew her scent to him.

So tasty. He thought as he inhaled deeply.

Yes, so mouth-watering.

Just a taste.

No, the whole thing, we shall devourer her.

So much food tonight.

“What is your name?” She asked, her smile as delicate as her music, though he could tell, just as so many other things, her voice was deceiving, she was dangerous, just like any other beauty in nature.

“Zetsu.” Was all he said, both sides speaking in unison, his voice sounding raspy and unused next to the musical sound that thrived from her throat. She smiled at him though, watching his questioning eyes. Her lips were full and pink, looking as soft as the fragile blossoms of a Sakura flower.

“Zetsu, I am Tama, the Piper of the forest. I call to nature, and all that can hear. Mother Nature has gifted me with the ability to call to her most prized children. And Zetsu, I can tell you are so very special.” Before he could blink the plum haired daughter stood, gracefully walking toward him, looking as though she were being carried by the wind itself. She stood before him, her flute setting on the stone by the small lake where she had once sat, and her now empty hands went toward his double colored cheeks, cupping them in her small hands.

They were soft, just as he had expected her lips to be, and he couldn’t help but noticed he relished in the soft embrace. She giggled slightly, the tone just as soothing to his ears as her flute had been, and his eyes stared down at her. His mind not comprehending what this close distance was supposed to mean. He had never been this close to another living being, aside from the trees he took form with, but this, it was something completely incomprehensible, he couldn’t look away though, it was though he were in a trace. He wanted to push her away, scream obscenities to her and then kill her, eat her flesh and relish in the tantalizing aroma she seemed to give off.

She came closer, and his thoughts centered around wanting to close his appendages around her head, the sharp stabs ripping into the pretty, fair flesh of her neck and beheading her on the spot, but he couldn’t move, he could only watch as she slowly moved toward him.

“Yes, so very special indeed. Mother has given you such a precious existence, Zetsu.” She whispered finally, her sweet scented breath tickling his lips. She grinned at him for a split second, her eyes scanning his for a moment before she bit her tongue, the sweet scent of blood turning his stomach in pleasure, he wanted to lunge at her now, kill her more than ever. But before he could think those soft, pink lips pressed against his rough, dry ones, the cracks in the skin being filled with the savory liquid life. The flavor had erupted something inside him, a searing desire to have more, a burning rushed through his veins, it was a burn he wanted to feel more of, one that he never wanted to end.

His lips moved against hers, his arms wrapping around her small waist to bring him closer before he jammed his tongue in her mother, the slimy appendage traveling to each corner, leaving no crook untouched as the sharp sting of blood clung to his tongue. When he could taste no more he pushed down on hers, trying in vain to urge more out. She smiled against him, pulling away before looking back at him and sticking her tongue out, then retreating it until the tip was between her teeth, the straight bones pushing down forcefully and wounding the surface, letting a steady flow of blood to erupt out once again.

Zetsu’s eyes lit up and he dipped his head down, capturing her lips with his hungry ones once again..

Just a taste.

Such a good taste!

Okay, this is the end of that! Zetsu number 2 complete.
