Aya stood in front of the mirror, wondering if she had picked the right dress.

Aya's dress: dress.jpg(including shoes, gloves, and necklace, but not hairstyle)

She had her long red hair let down and it fell to her lower back. Examining herself once more in the mirror, she decided to meet her friends downstairs. Taking a deep breath she walked into the ball room and a bunch of people stopped to stare at her. She ignored them and walked over to Musa and Flora.

"Wow, you look amazing," Musa smiled.

"Yeah, that dress really suits you," Flora said sweetly.

"Uh, thanks." Aya blushed. Yes, actually blushed.

Riven leaned against a wall, finding himself unable to look away from Aya. She looked amazing in that dress, and this was the first time he'd seen her with her hair down. "I must be sick." He thought to himself, tearing his gaze away from her and watching the people around him have fun.

"Would you like to dance?" A random boy asked, walking up to Aya.

"No," She replied coldly, turning and walking away from him.

"Dang Aya, that was cold," Musa said falling into step next to her.

"Well I'm not here to get caught up in love," She shrugged.

"Still, did you have to be so mean?" Musa asked.

"Musa, you know my past. It's hard for me to trust people, so far you're the only one I've trusted in six years." Aya sighed.

"Yeah okay." Musa agreed.

"Anyone asked you to dance yet?" Aya asked in a pitiful attempt to change the subject.

"Nah not yet," Musa shrugged.

"I'm sure someone will ask you," She encouraged.

"I doubt it." She said.

"Some guy just asked me to dance with him," Flora said walking up.

"That's great," Musa beamed. Aya just kinda stood there, she wasn't really comfortable around Flora yet. After a little while Ms. Faragonda came over and asked Musa to sing for the boys. Bored with the dance, Aya decided to go walk around, seeing as there was nothing there for her to do. Somehow she found herself in the middle of a forest and a beautiful lake stood before her. She sighed and sat down on a rock, watching the moon reflect upon the water.

"You know, everyones looking for you," Sky said standing next to her.

"Well I got bored, so I came outside to think," Aya shrugged.

"About your family?" He asked.

"What are you talking about?" Aya snapped.

"Stella told me about what happened," He explained.

"But how did she...Musa," Aya spat with venom in her voice.

"Musa didn't tell her, she overheard you guys talking. Don't worry, she only told me," He said sitting next to her.

"Why am I not surprised. So why is everyone looking for me?" She asked.

"Well Musa said she left to go perform and you just up and disappeared, she got worried so everyone came to look for you," He explained.

"Worried? About me? Yeah right," Aya mumbled, skipping a rock across the lake.

"Yes about you, she thought the witches might've gotten you, because of your history with them and all." He said skipping a rock as well.

"Yeah well, can't exactly say I'm on their good side," Aya said bitterly.

"No one is," He said.

"I feel bad for their parents, I mean, who would be able to raise them? They were only 12 or 13 when they killed by sibs," Aya sighed.

"So do I," He agreed.

"Granted they're probably just as bad as them, so maybe I wouldn't feel so bad for them," Aya said, reconsidering.

"Yeah you're probably right," He agreed again.

"No wonder Stella likes you, you agree to everything. Seriously dude, do you even have a brain of your own?" Aya asked. He just started laughing. "What's so funny?"

"You really are just like Riven," He said wiping a tear out of his eye from laughing so hard.

"Excuse me? He's a cocky, uncaring, judging, pompous idiot," She fumed.

"And you're sarcastic, guarded, cocky, and act like you don't care about anyone, just like him," Sky said regaining his composure.

"Whatever man, see ya," She said standing.

"Aya wait," He called out.

"What," She snapped, extremely annoyed by this boys presence.

"Don't judge Riven right away, I think you two would get along really well. Give him a chance, you'd be surprised at what you find out," He said, Aya said nothing and began walking again, not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment.

She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't notice anyone in front of her until she ran straight into someone and fell on her but. She looked up to come face to face with Icy. Darcy and Stormy soon joined her. "Why are you here," Aya snapped.

"Aww, what's wrong? Daddy's little angel not happy to see us," Icy mawked. "Oh wait, daddy didn't want you anymore."

"Shut up," Aya said through clenched teeth.

"It must have been a real disappointment to have you as a daughter, why else would he have," Darcy started.

"I said shut up," Aya screamed, interrupting her.

"Aw what's wrong, the poor baby can't handle the truth?" Stormy jumped in.

"What are you guys talking about?" Aya asked.

"You mean you don't know?" Icy asked, faking surprise.

"Know what?" She asked.

"Yo-" Icy began but was interrupted.

"Aya, are you okay?" Musa asked running up and crouching down next to her.

"What are you witches doing here?" Techna demanded.

"Another time, pixie." Icy said as the three disappeared.

Musa turned her attention back to Aya and said, "Aya, you alright?"

"I'm fine," Aya said in a daze and walked back to her room, falling onto her bed and thinking before falling asleep, still in her dress.
