I tried to run away when I was told I had to get married..::..ch. 28..::..well, that didn't work

Adien’s POV..::..
I was sitting awake at the Finley’s brothers apartment, waiting for the news from Brent.
I told him to give me updates on what was going on, every now and then he would send me picture of the closed bathroom, letting me know she was still in there and he was still awake.
I was pissed that Sean didn’t listen to me, I was his upper, what I said went, he didn’t have the right to disobey, he’d have to get retold.
Christie had taken Sean’s bed, I layed beside her for a while till she fell asleep realizing I wasn’t in the mood, I’ve been sitting in their front room looking at the TV since then.
My phone vibrated again for the first time in a half hour, it wasn’t what I expected the picture to be of.
The door stood agar and there was blood all over the floor, preciously white towels now bright red, pieces of her shirt laying on the ground. Cut her finger my ass.
Another picture came, Sean covered in blood, sleeping in the shower, red towel in his hand.
There was a pause of pictures, then a picture of her back at the fridge.
There was a longer pause, it was killing me, him knowing what was going on, me not.
It vibrated again I quickly opened it, her standing through a doorway with gauze in her hand, you could see her shoulder, bruised and bloody.
Then a picture, through an open door her leaning against her car trying to pull gauze around her shoulder, obviously failing.
A short pause, her leaning against a wall, shoulder bandaged neatly. He must have helped her.
I waited for the next one.She was cleaning the bathroom, Sean was awake.
Then a picture of the clean bathroom.
Then a picture of her staring straight at me.
I stared at the last photo, she had apparently noticed Brent taking pictures of her.
For some reason, I didn’t want her to know I was keeping tabs on her.
