Not even ten minutes later he left.
Me and Sean stayed were we were for a long time, I don’t even know how long, every now and then, someone would ask us what we were doing, ask if we were okay, we didn’t reply, after a while, I fell asleep.
When I woke up I couldn’t tell what time it was, my bathroom had no windows, no clock.
I could hear Sean lightly snoring. I slowly climbed out, I didn’t want to wake him up.
I opened the door slowly, August was sleeping in my bed, Connor on the mattress next to the bed. I grabbed a button up shirt.
I walked down the stairs slowly, not making any sounds.
I looked at the clock in the kitchen, 4 am, I hadn’t eaten in a while, I was hungry.
I ate the left overs from yesterdays lunch.
I walked down stairs into the garage, shuffling through some boxes finding the bandages.
I pulled my arm out of my sleeve. I tried to wrap it with one hand. I gave up, cursing louder than I meant to.
I leaned against my car, sighing.
Someone grabbed the wrap out of hand, I just stood there obediently as they wrapped it around my arm. I looked up it wasn’t who I was secretly hoping it was. It was Brent.
I thanked him, he nodded.
“We should probably clean the bathroom before anyone else wakes up,” I nodded, he was right.
We walked up stairs to see Sean picking up the towels and putting them in a plastic garbage bag, Brent nodded at him, Sean nodded back.
I hated their silent language.
I picked up the thread, scissors and my old T-shirt. Brent cleaned the floor with the last of my white towels, I was now towel-less.
Sean cleaned the shower. My bed spread had already been cleaned. My room was now back to normal, except I had no towels.
We went into the kitchen.
Sean grabbed some food in silence.
Brent pulled out his phone took a picture of me, sent it, then shut it looking away like nothing had happened.
I tried to run away when I was told I had to get married..::..ch. 27..::.well, that didn't work
